Nice pod well design !

If you're looking for something to mine I suggest Digibyte

I mine DGB with an old Antminer C1, around 15-20 DGB per TH per day ATM
https://dgb-sha.theblocksfactory.com/

You will be able to mine a few DGB / months.
Mining and holding , then wait for price to surge x100  Grin
TX fee is super cheap and the blockchain super fast.

Samsung Strikes Deal to Supply ASIC Chips to Bitmain

Rushing out old stuff before selling new Antminer with Samsung chips inside  Tongue

I hope this is true. This means no new manufacturer
Why would you not want a new manufacturer?

U want more difficulty?

I have been keeping an eye on the Samsung news articles since they were first released at the end of January and this is the first and ONLY article that claims Bitmain is who they have partnered with. I would take it with a grain of salt and find it extremely strange that none of the other articles mention the partnership between the two. Honestly, as per Moore's Law, I don't see any drastic improvement in efficiency from them. At most I expect a 25% improvement... Say... 18Th/S at 1400 watts...

Chief Editor of Bitsonline.com ( https://twitter.com/TalonTech1 ) know really well Bitmain cie. He done review of most of their hardware over the pasts years.  I'm confident the news is not fake.

Typically need to hard reboot to recover missing GPU, soft reboot isn't enough ...
I changed driver and mining software at same time...
Need to investigate if it's hardware related or not.
Mining is lot's of fun  Tongue

Thanks !

I have seen that happen with failing risers or dirty PCIE sockets.

Make sense, I just came back from my shed. I cleaned my Rig with compressed air but didn't clean GPU contact.
If it fail again, I will clean them with alcohol and Q-tips.

I disabled Skunk mining, Payout rate was wrong at 5k$+/ day. Mining all night for penny.
Now mining Blake2s. This rig is running 1.9.0.2 with 6x GTX1060 6GB, issue is probably fixed in 1.9.0.3 ?

My 2x RX480 crashed last night on 19.0.1.3.
RIG is 1 year + , mining super stable since last year but may show aging issues.

Work great and I enjoy daily low fee LTC payout  Grin

One comment :

Discard using recommended Blockchain Driver, didn't work.
I had some issues with my RX480 rig. I fixed with a drivers update.

Coins go short from time to time. The only coins guaranteed for a payout are BTC and LTC. However LTC can go short from time to time but the pool owner manually refills the LTC supply daily at least.

Ok, I can discard warning and keep mining with LTC payout ?

Yes you can, as he told me he only does that for LTC. So you don't need to worry about that =)
Idk why, but I'm using the miner now for nearly a whole week. And I never reached the daily estimated profit, it has always been way less.

Thanks ! First 24hrs mining with Zpool GUI. Let's see how it goes

We are short of this currency (2.38040906 LTC). Please STOP your miners and switch to BTC until we find more LTC blocks.
YOU are responsible if you continue to mine for LTC despite this warning.

WTF Huh You are short of LTC but I'm responsible for what ?
19  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB/WTT] Looking for S5 or S5+ whole miners, hashboards, whatever on: January 17, 2018, 04:45:19 PM
Like the subject states, I am looking for S5 and S5+ miners. Dead hashboards accepted as well, subject to negotiation depending on condition.

I can pay outright, or trade for other gear. As a reference, right now I'll trade 4x 2Pac USB stick miners for one S5 hashboard.

PM me if you have something.

I have 2x Dead S5 boards in hand.
Both suffered from overheating ( dead fan ).
Controller saw all chips but boards didn't hash.

20  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: AVALON S721 SELLING on: December 17, 2017, 03:47:31 PM
AVALON S821 PRESALE !!!!!

We have been lucky enough to get approved for a bulk order of 60 pcs AVALON S821.

They will be delivered to us in Denmark between 22-26 January 2018.

Some will be installed in a wind farm (20-25 pcs)
The rest (35-40 pcs) Will be sold.

Since the price can still be high and low until the end of January. Then we will NOT sell at full price yet (2.099 USD / 0.13 BTC per piece)

If someone should be interested, then you can contact us by following mail.

privatpeternielsen@gmail.com

Note that there may be response time because we only have 2 people who have family in addition to work.

They can not be bought and paid now with us. But they can be reserved. And we have decided that max can reserve 4 per order. This is for more people to be able to acquire one.

At PREORDRE you only have to pay 50% of the total amount. The rest will be calculated when they are in our house and ready to send out.
The price will be calculated at the end of January. Before they are sent.

However, the price is FAST at 2,099 USD. But the exchange rates and the bitcoin price can simply ruin us if we receive the total amount for the mines today.

Freight rates are fixed. We can send up to 15 kg for 197.55 USD. This price is calculated to the United States. The price will be cheaper here in Europe.

The AVALON S821 can also be picked up at our address when they are with us. Additional information will be sent private.

Settlement in Bitcoin. The price right now is 0.13 Bitcoin per pcs. Therefore, approximately 0.065 Bitcoin is required when ordering. And rest is payed before shipping.

IMPORTANT: CANAAN HAVE NOT TOLD US YET IF AUC3 IS IN THE PACKET.
SO DONT BUY IF YOU NOT HAVE AUC3.

Here you can send the amount in bitcoin ( 0,059 BTC remember to write name adress email and phone number) We will send an confirmanation email or sms back to you

Steven Mosher here from Canaan.

This is 100%  fake.

The person is not on my list.

The specs are all wrong.

The first test lot of  821  was finished friday.   I just got the report tonight.  The numbers above are not only wrong they are stupid.

Here is the deal guys.   The FINAL spec is not determined yet and wont be until I have a larger sample of test machines.

If you dont hear the spec from me  you can consider it to be a lie, a fake, or a case of somebody releasing  Pre test  engineering
HOPES and dreams.  Not actual fricking tested and verified numbers.

Steve

Thank you for spotting this scam, I always take my info from official website.  Specs didn't make sense  Shocked Huh  Not your style ! Grin
