Elon is the hero we deserve.

Yes, but right now their personal fantasy and reality is one and the same, and that must be a great feeling for them.
They are going to pester their grandchildren with these stories forever,
LOL. Sad but true. It's like their Vietnam, except instead of fighting for the government, they're just drinking beers and waving their metal dicks around at the government.

The situation in Michigan is genuinely fucked up. Their governor has gone off the deep end, and is drunk with power. She's gone full-retard.

Never
go full retard democrat.

I fear that the easing may be the most dangerous period.  We know there are tons of asymptomatic people been cooped up the last month or better.

And people, being what they are, essentially retarded, are going to view the lifting of lockdown as some sort of "all clear" and behave predictably.

We will be staying the fuck in and watching to see how it goes.

I went out today. It was kind of weird/surreal seeing everyone in face masks. Well, everyone except for the ladies going in and out of the nail salon (!?)

Just like sources of pollution used to be tracked and the polluters sued. An industry of pollution detectives were just starting to spring up when the industrial age was just beginning. Fearing a total shutdown of the economy corporations worked with the government to create the EPA which protected the polluters in exchange for some superficial regulations and payoffs.

If we could track the spread of diseases and hold those people responsible accountable we could stop disease.

I mean...we know the 4 or so people that brought it to the US right? So they say. Start with them.
Oddly enough, yes. The big problem you run into though is those 4 people would be liable for 10 trillion in damages, or more properly for the infections that they wrought on others who then would be liable for others.... See now that we know the people and the vectors we can assign fines to morons who take stupid risks.

The problem though still remains that people can take on more risk then they can ever hope to pay out in their miserable lives. Thus you need a sort of holding company that will pay the debt, and then take ownership of the person and their heirs to pay the debt off. Has to be multi-generation because the loan has to be paid. And oddly enough it provides an incentive for these slaves (for they are slaves until the debt is paid) to be the best they can be not so they can be free but that someday their heirs will be free.

The holding company (which we can call the "state") could then sell a percentage of these slaves to private holders, all reported in a blockchain. You and I could then buy a slave, a percentage of the output of the slave, or possibly one of the slaves' children.

It gets interesting when you think about it. The real fun comes when slaves own percentages of other slaves and everyone is enslaved to everyone else.

That's why we need to hold China responsible for the $10 Trillion or so in damages they've caused the US alone.

The only way to undermine bitcoin is with a massive, global, coordinated smear campaign. Politics is all about being disagreeable and uncooperative. We are at no risk at all.

The problem is going to come when it's time to "cash out". The US is supposed to unveil it's new, stricter, draconian AML/KYC regulations for cryptocurrencies. The US makes just about every nation on earth abide by the same rules. At the very least, they're going to require Proof of Source of Funds that will require you to prove how you got your bitcoins, and how you got the money to buy your bitcoins. They'll also probably require sharing this PoSoF information between exchanges and payment processors so you can't reuse the same proof at different exchanges, etc.

I am back to my roots. Win small but risk small.
No. Win or lose. If you are going to win, might as well win big. If you are going to lose, better not to lose anything. It is, ultimately, a choice. Are you a winner or loser?

I'm kind of thinking in the same terms. Win big, replace the wife with a harem of sluts, and live on a yacht. Or lose, and work at McDonald's until I drop dead, face first into the fryer, at age 83.

BTW, j/k about the yacht.

I created a private key and deliberately deleted the first character.

I will have to wait until quantum computing reaches the insane amount of calculations it would require to figure out what my private key is. I hope I am still alive by then.

I mist be misunderstanding you. AFAICT, depending on character set (e.g. base58), as long as you have the rest of the key, you'll have your funds in no more than 58 tries. Actually, given the embedded ECC, you can probably get it on the first try.

Aaaah. _first_ character. You was trollin'

I think he was mocking the guy who said earlier that his friend permanently erased a seed word. Which would take like 5 seconds to bruteforce

IMO it's pretty safe to buy directly from a manufacturer on Amazon too.

Hell, there's a large market for used hardware wallets. Just wipe it, make sure it wasn't physically tampered with, and you're G2G.

I am not at all sure that even a for real BTC style dildo would cheer me up at this point.

At least try it first, before you dismiss it.

In a few years people will look back at the price of $68xx & be depressed at selling in that price range.

Please fellow HODLERS, don’t sell at this pathetic price - DON’T BE A GREG!

The world is full of Gregs. Wait until we get to $1,000,000 or $5,000,000 and most people on here sold at $25k-$100k. Never go full retard, no matter the price.

I’ll never sell my entire stash, I think it’s important to try & keep even 10% of your stash for a long, long time.
I’m not going to make any apologies for selling about half if we go north of $50,000 per coin though.

I didn’t sell anything during the last big bull run & I do regret it a little. I won’t make the same mistake this time, I’m 100% going to take life changing money out this time.

I think the best exit strategy will be to sell a predetermined percentage at predetermined levels, as long as one has the discipline to stick to the plan. Otherwise, emotions get in the way, and as we know, emotions are retarded. Otherwise, we'll hit $50K, and you'll be euphoric, thinking that $100K is surely around the corner. But as soon as we hit $90K, everyone dumps, and the price goes down to $15K for the next 4 years. That's how you become r0ach.

The proof is in the pudding though. That study was small and terrible, for various reasons. There are plenty of small scale, informal, unpublished studies showing the effectiveness of hydroxychloroquine.

Here's one of many: https://www.wfaa.com/article/news/health/coronavirus/texas-elderly-hydroxychloroquine-coronavirus-treatment-texas-city/287-7383185c-940c-4cb2-82ea-c4a5ffad3ffb

BTW I find it amazing that Trump Derangement Syndrome has spread to medicine.

I am black belt in risotto

Like almost any good food, risotto has to start with good stock. The chickens here in Mexico may not be as plump and tender as the ones in Canada, but they make excellent stock.

Hendrick's (coupled with tonic water , ice and lime  has been my best friend during this lockdown.
As for Hendrick's, I'm getting a little worried about my supply. I just finished my second last bottle and I'm trying to hold off opening my last one as long as possible. I have maybe enough Sapphire for 2 drinks and less than a quarter bottle of Tanqueray. My half bottle of Hendrick's Orbium is for extreme emergencies only. It should be in a glass case with a little hammer.

I'm out of rum, wine (except vermouth) and cognac and I'm down to my last half bottles of tequila and Crown Royal.

They blindsided me here with their ban on alcohol. In most civilized countries, alcohol supply is considered essential like food or pharmaceuticals. Here they were worried about maintaining "social order". OMG, it's gangs of rampaging social distancers!

Managed to acquire a little bootleg cerveza from a nearby town and immediately put in an order for as much more and as much tequila as I could get but then they closed down the highway almost immediately so I'm SOL.

Gotta ration, but that's hard when you've been living a life of unbridled decadence for so many years.

Sigh.

I ordered a bunch of booze with my last grocery delivery. They've been talking about allowing uber/doordash/etc drivers to deliver mixed drinks from bars lol
Anyway, it sounds like you've got enough to survive on.

Business model = Buy and Hodl. We will crush all fortune 500 companies in ROI.

4-1-5-2-3 for me.

1-1-1-1-1 for me please.
3-3-3-3-3 for me. I like em solid.

Hahahaha....

Yeah... so bleh....

I will have to go 2-4-5-1-3, if forced to select...

I would hate to be stuck on a deserted island with them... probably cat fights the whole time, even though they appear so buddy buddy in the pic.

I would change the order of my ranking, if I was attempting to predict survival of the fittest in deserted island conditions.  Maybe 4-1-2-5-3

But #3 has the most meat on her bones.

My apologies if this is is not the correct forum for this question -- this is the only thread I follow.  Just trying to get my ducks in order and get a better grasp of what I have in place.

Say I have some BTC that I've owned since 2013 and they have been untouched since that time.

Which coins/denominations do I have from each BTC I have as it relates to forks?

I know for sure I have 1 BCH, and maybe 1 BSV for each BTC I own, but is there anything else of value I should be looking at in case I'm thinking of doing anything in the next few months?

Thanks in advance!

Check out this graph from JP Morgan:

This is based partially on the second wave emerging in China. Are we going to keep doing these lockdowns every couple of months until a vaccine arrives?

It looks like filb is expecting this to go to at least ~$8,150.
