Try "C:\RG7Miner>C:\Java\jre6\bin\java -jar rg7miner.jar beach.1 x http://123.123.123.123:8332 COM1" (example port) !
642  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA life expectancy? on: March 11, 2012, 08:25:35 PM
I own Icarus and ZTEX boards and both are worth their money. Keep in mind that Icarus uses only SG2 chips. You compare a tuned Lancer Evolution with a Porsche. Like others wrote, a question of preference.
643  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Astana used stolen cedit cards? Maged can you back this up? on: March 11, 2012, 02:31:03 PM
So did you get your money back ? I assume the cards are still with Andrew. Maybe you have been wronged but you were acting like a berserk in that other thread. I wasn't following the thread too close. If i look at Andrews depts today (20000$) Shocked the whole story looks a bit different. But you were the one calling names and now you expect excuses ? Perhaps you should go first ?!

Runs stable at 0.1% rejects. No more sleep mode. Only thing that's not working after some time is the average MH/s rate and the efficiency. It says 600+ MH for one board. Restart helps.
645  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Algorithmically placed FPGA miner: 192MH/s and rising on: March 10, 2012, 05:12:51 PM
What makes you think this cannot similarly be applied to the single ( even after a hardware modification ) Huh

Tick tock tock  Cool

Shocked ngzhangs rig towers... i'm glad that they sell so well. A very good product you have there Zhang.

You don't steal from your friends ! Cheesy
649  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ZTEX USB-FPGA Module 1.15x: 210 MH/s FPGA Board on: March 10, 2012, 01:40:31 PM
Dr Z. what will be your answer to this ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=49971.0 Any plans on a 3 ring design ?
650  Other / Meta / Re: FPGA Subforum on: March 09, 2012, 09:56:21 PM
Indeed. I am tired of all this BFL and ZTEX and other FPGA junk in the GPU forum.

I won't be buying any FPGA any time soon so might as well move it out of the way for now.

Thanks !

Cheesy my junk will still produce Bitcoins when you are out of the game with your GPUs.

+1 for a FPGA subforum btw
651  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA HPC :P 32*LX150 on: March 09, 2012, 05:44:01 PM
For 17000 Euro you get 64 FPGAs on 32 Icarus boards... Cheesy worst deal ever
652  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: X6500 Custom FPGA Miner on: March 09, 2012, 03:43:47 PM
What a clean looking board. I'm sure it will sell well. Nice to have active cooling for faster mining.

FPGA sex Tongue
654  Other / Archival / Re: Pictures of your mining rigs! on: March 08, 2012, 09:47:54 PM
what you got there?

Looks like 2 GH of ZTEX 1.15x boards. Nice setup !
655  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Modular Python Bitcoin Miner - Official Thread on: March 08, 2012, 09:13:18 PM
Finally working Cheesy no curses, no miner... donation sent !
Are you sure that you prefer CursesUI over WebUI+StderrLogger with ANSI coding enabled?

Shocked i'm a carpenter, no idea what you talk about Cheesy

657  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - 3rd batch payment start. on: March 08, 2012, 05:01:15 PM
That's strange. I use RG7Miner too and so far (~18 hours of continuous mining on ABCpool) I never got anything that resembles the "sleeping mode" you describe. What pool are you on? Maybe it has something to do with them? Maybe it has something to do with your connection? Is it stable enough? Maybe the pool was under some sort of ddos attack when your boards displayed that error?

[edit] - I managed to replicate your error by turning off the board then turning it back on without stopping the miner. Every share after that was invalid until I stopped and restarted the miner. Maybe there's some sort of power interruptions on the supply line and your board turns off briefly.

No, there is no power interruption. Two other FPGAs are on the same supply. I mine on GPUMAX and BitMinter. BM is rock solid but it happens there too. Antirack had the same error. Funny thing is that Icarus has the lowest stale rate of all devices i have. So the miner can't be that bad Cheesy It's just not stable (yet)
658  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - 3rd batch payment start. on: March 08, 2012, 11:32:53 AM
My invalids have always been around 1% with RG7Miner. There must be some little problem. Seems to be connected with that eternal sleeping mode where the board only produces invalids. I'm 99% sure that this is not hardware releated because when you restart the miner all works ok. Sadly it's unpredictable.
659  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: FPGA development board "Icarus" - 3rd batch payment start. on: March 07, 2012, 10:20:13 PM
I miss a simple and reliable miner for windows 7. RG7Miner works but it sends the board to "eternal sleep mode" way too often. With CGminer i get about 5 shares from icarus accepted, then it freezes somehow Undecided A step by step guide for idiots would be nice.  Wink
660  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: RG7Miner - Icarus FPGA board miner on: March 06, 2012, 08:10:14 PM
I am still running my 5 instances of RG7Miner. I get the HW Error about the nonce that didn't produce a valid hash once in a while, that's clear now. But overnight had had two units fail with (almost) endless loop of HW Errors of this type. The strange thing is that after a while there was on single valid one again, then again lots of errors, then a single valid one again, etc...

Restarting the miner (Ctrl-C, up, enter) gets them going again. Happened a couple of times now. Possibly always on the same 2 Icarus units, but I am not sure yet it's not even been 24h (I have three instances running at 604 minutes now).

Get this HW Errors too once in a while. Had it about 3 times in 72 hours.
