161  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The (Official) RAVENBIT COLORS coin trading thread on: July 03, 2015, 07:32:06 PM
Ok great I didn't realise you had any of these going that would be easier to combine postage thank you Smiley.
That's good point, I didn't list any of the grey as being available for sale.  Just fixed that... Smiley

Mitchell, if you can work out a shipping deal with anyone who is near you and willing to ship with you that I am trading with, I'll happily sell a grey.  For right now I am waiting on selling the colors until I can see what others have.
162  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The (Official) RAVENBIT COLORS coin trading thread on: July 03, 2015, 06:43:30 PM
Looks like there were 428 gray as well.

Gray   428
Green (*)   27
Yellow (**)   18
Violet (***)   15
Blue(****)   12
Red (*****)   9
Orange (******)   6

I'd be interested in adding 1 of any color (even they gray) to my collection if anyone's selling in the UK or EU ideally.
Since we've got that other trade going I can toss a grey or two in the package, since I'll already be sending you something anyways.  We can pm about it later.
163  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The (Official) RAVENBIT COLORS coin trading thread on: July 03, 2015, 05:08:45 PM
To be clear, the holos are the same, but the paper with the addresses are different colors.
Very good point, thanks for that Smiley
164  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The (Official) RAVENBIT COLORS coin trading thread on: July 03, 2015, 03:05:19 PM
Do we/Can we get a pricing structure for sales/trades based on the color distribution/percentage of the coins??
We could use retail, direct, wholesale, and trade pricing.

Thanks Smiley

I've edited the OP with more valuation data and links to ongoing sales.
165  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The (Official) RAVENBIT COLORS coin trading thread on: July 03, 2015, 02:22:22 PM
My colors available for trade/sale as of now:

2 - Green
2 - Yellow (eh, colored font was hard to read)
30+ - Grey

I'm in absolute need of:

1 - Violet

I'd love to acquire:

2 - Violet (total, including above)
1 - Blue
1 - Red

I'm will to pay flat-out BTC for any of the above as well, make me an offer.

I'm planning on sending some out for grading at some point in the near-ish future.  If anyone wants their coins graded I'd be happy to include them, PM me for details.  Oh, and it's easy to make sure you get the right coin back, identifiable by the firstbits on the holo, so there's no possibility of a switcheroo.
166  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] [WTS] RAVENBIT NODE BRONZE physical bitcoins [SOLD OUT] on: July 03, 2015, 02:16:37 PM
If anyone is interested in a distribution breakdown so far, I can post a mini-spreadsheet I worked up.
Not much class, but it gets the job done. Wink
I'll start a new thread specifically for the trading if you want.

Yes please Smiley

Here ya go:

Did I do good?  Wink

Yes, yes you did.  Nice!  The orange ones are the hardest, only 6 rolls out of the 50 contained one.

And if my count is correct, only 3 are unspoken for......  Huh
Two.  There were 3 found before these last 24 rolls went out, so this would make 4 so far.

Nice charts!

Hoping I can make the chat as well, not sure what the family has in store for me at that time tomorrow.
172  Other / Meta / Re: Subforum request - "Physical Bitcoins / Collecting" subforum on: July 02, 2015, 07:13:55 PM
Haven't really thought about it much, and not sure it's needed, but a more general PM (precious metals) board would make more sense, and would likely gain more support. Lot of overlap there.

This would be great and there is definitely overlap.  I have traded with users on the silverbugs and pmsforsale subreddits who also trade here.

Name it "Bitcoin and Bullion" ?  Cheesy

I echo the overlap, but I also think it's certainly a larger area than just Precious Metals, although that is what most of the coins' content makeup is.
173  Other / Meta / Re: Subforum request - "Physical Bitcoins / Collecting" subforum on: July 02, 2015, 07:10:55 PM
I would even volunteer to help moderate such a sub since I am fairly active. Not sure what qualification is required, but I am somewhat knowledgeable about this subject.
I'm a little unsure whether it could be considered a conflict of interest that you yourself are frequently selling / buying coins.
Then again, I'd trust you, so that's probably a good idea.

I was thinking that section was discussion only, but if it did have sales that could be an issue I suppose.
Agreed.  I had offered to moderate as well, but this brings up a good point.  Discussions are one thing, but wouldn't want to be in a situation where there could be accusations of tampering.  Then again, trust already earned should alleviate most concerns.
174  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] [WTS] RAVENBIT NODE BRONZE physical bitcoins [SOLD OUT] on: July 01, 2015, 09:45:56 PM
All of the group buy #3 orders were shipped this morning. Let me know if you didn't receive a tracking number .. and good luck!
Got my package earlier and couldn't wait to open it.  As before, everything in the package was top notch, packaged well, kudos Tom!

So, I'm in the market for Violet, Blue and Red, in that order.  Have some trades or willing to pay BTC, make me an offer.

This was exciting, can't wait for the next round... Wink

^
I am thinking about contacting theymos so he can give you a custom title under your nickname, it should be "Alt of Otoh", legend say that Otoh build a whole house out Casascius coins.

Good luck with the auction Smiley
Ha!  I'd be OK with that, at least there'd be fair warning for folks, and I'd end up with a house at the end of it... Cheesy

Oh, come now, moo a little more... Wink
176  Economy / Auctions / Re: 2013 ANACS MS66 Casascius Brass Single BTC on: July 01, 2015, 07:17:58 PM
I said, moo.

And, I say "Ekky-ekky-ekky-ekky-z'Bang, zoom-Boing, z'nourrrwringmm".

177  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The GENESIS COIN Trading Thread on: July 01, 2015, 06:38:08 PM
Ok, most recent sale/trade list is updated in my OP (#2 post in thread), including the recent reservations for hedgy73 and ezeminer.

Willing to trade/deal/purchase any #001 and #009 series coins.  Make me an offer!
178  Economy / Collectibles / Re: The GENESIS COIN Trading Thread on: July 01, 2015, 06:02:10 PM
Received 5 coins today and I'm over the moon with them. They're really nice coins actually, much better quality than I was expecting to be honest Smiley. I've got another 10 on their way they should be here soon seeings how quickly these arrived. Once they're here we can see about any trades anyone would like to make.

#1 Peercoin
#3 Coin2
#6 Litecoin
#9 Namecoin
#11 Clams

https://i.imgur.com/ngUavh4.jpg

Looks like Analogkid is going for #1's and #9's and ezeminer #3's so there's something here for them already Smiley.

I'm probably most interested in keeping the #6 litecoin but will depend if I'm able to acquire any other #6's.

Thanks wheelz1200 you've done a cracking job with these and I love the way they're in sealed packs so it really is a surprise whats inside until its opened. Takes me back to collecting panini football cards as a kid Grin.

I would be all over those #003's Cheesy

No problem buddy I'll set aside the #3 Coin2 for you Smiley.
3-way PM incoming momentarily...

Let's bring this back up and see if we can get some more interest.  Bueller?
180  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS?] - ANACS MS 67 Silver Casascius Tenth with Exception on: July 01, 2015, 02:49:39 AM
We've tried that before. Og posted a thread in the Meta section and many of us coin nuts chimed in, but the mods said something to the effect of there wasn't enough demand to justify it...   Sad

Perhaps the Meta thread could get a nice bumping though.  Smiley  I definitely agree a whole side section for physical BTC and other coins would be great.
Yeah, I started that a couple weeks ago but didn't keep up with it.  I'll go bump it if you guys want to keep trying.  I think there's enough interest...

Edit:  bumped.  Have at it ladies and gents.  Smiley
