I probably could, but I don't want to. That thing run on mains? Mine would run in a car, or off a 12V or 24V solar panel, or whatever. I kinda like working with DC when I can. A built-in mains supply would remove a conversion step, but it would also either require some additional certifications and a lot more testing on the design, or sourcing an existing PSU which is probably made in China from garbage parts. And also probably a lot less fun. If the 7-port with internal regulation works well enough (by the way, it'll have a barrel plug for direct 5V in or, if you're using the high-volt input, an aux 5V out) maybe I'll look into a bigger thing like that, provided I can find a balls-out 5V supply I don't consider a fire hazard.
It's a 200w internal PSU, runs on standard 110, standard c13 (or is it c14? I can never remember which end is which) cable. I looked up the unit at some point, was trying to find its stable operating temps (to see if it could run fanless), but can't find the link ATM. Very simple insides, I might be able to get it out of the rack and pull the top cover for some pics, let me see.

Hello everyone.
I'm a new miner so, pardon the agitating newbie question. I have a question about using the suggested diff setting for my miners. I have 2 antminer s3's that I'm using in the pool under one payout address. Up until this point I have not set the diff and noticed my charts have large spikes. I've read mixed reviews on setting the diff. Some people have stated that they noticed a larger number of stales ect when specifying the diff. Should I be setting the diff for this pool? If so should I be setting it for 256 or 512 because I have two workers on one payout address?
TIA
Personally, I don't bother with the diff settings. I played around with it a long time back when I first started with p2pool, but for the past year I've not bothered and let it auto-adjust. The best thing you can do with Antminers is make sure the queue is set to 0 and make sure you're running a most recent stable firmware. You can search the p2pool thread for "s3 firmware p2pool" and read up on that.

Gonna make me work for it, eh? 1.38 BTC for both.

Is there stats somewhere that show the monthly luck on this pool?
This is a standard P2Pool node under the covers, so you can find any normal P2Pool node advertising the luck stats. Coincadence runs a nice one - http://minefast.coincadence.com/p2pool-stats.php - but there's other frontends on other nodes as well. Everyone mining on Nastypool shows up to P2Pool as a single miner, due to the proxy frontend Nonnakip has installed. When P2Pool finds a block, the node as a whole gets the payout, and then within the Nastypool code the payouts are figured out for each miner and then distributed from there.

Those look great. Are they all gone?
Nope, you can still get them. Head on over to the main coin thread - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=826527.0 - and you'll find more info there. 100 were minted and I believe 26 were purchased during pre-order, so there's some left.

Well, I'll be a monkey's uncle... they quoted me in the article too. I don't care if only 2 people read it, I got my 15 seconds of fame...

I've updated my post #2 with coins I have available, and trade/purchase terms. Thanks for looking!
Very nice assortment, I was looking for that Dogecoin and may be in contact. Thanks! I did edit my post, adding that I'm willing to trade for numbers that aren't 001 or 009... never know who might need the coin I get which might get me to those other numbers.

Access denied. loaded putty . loaded ip to miner checked SSH named the session and saved it opened it and attempted to use root password is still root since I have never changed it and it works in the web gui login as: root root@192.168.31.41's password: Access denied root@192.168.31.41's password: They changed the default root/root to root/admin with the s5 when SSH'ing in. Try that.

how is the mining lately ?
i don't see too many blocks solved by p2pool but curious if many are mining ?
We're currently in a little streak of bad luck but the past few weeks leading up have been pretty good. Still, total luck has been around or over 100 for the past couple months. Seems we are hovering consistently between 260-280 miners for a while now, but there have been several new faces coming into the thread working on new nodes which has been good.

Man o manowitz....... what a great buy everyone!!! Graded gray eh??? Sign me up.... Any graded color ones??Thanks Oh, I'm sure TheAnalogKid is planning on having a badass ANACS graded full set of colors soon! If you do this- I'd love to see pictures of the full slabbed colors set altogether! And @mrbrt- The OCD in me thinks that you should have the Node Silver listed in your forum signature too, just for the sake of completeness. Even if sold out, everybody could still see all of RavenBit's releases at a quick glance. Yep, I'm planning on submitting all my colors for grading, so stay tuned for it
