Set most things via AMD Overdrive, fans and memory speed and powerlimit.

Only set, GPU overclock speed and temps target via Claymore.

This way, you can benchmark share yields versus overclock speeds of Claymore Dual Miner by creating .Bat copied files with different GPU overclocks.

This way, you won't blindly run GPU overclocks that produce 0% extra yield in shares per hour, but the higher overclock ends up damaging your GPU.

The mantra is: if it does not yield extra shares, then don't run the higher overclock on your GPU.

Running, just a tad under the correct overclock will safeguard the resale price of your GPUs!

Google, you GPU and find out what the professional overclockers review samples got for their overclocks.

Overclock only at your own risk and responsibility.

Great Work from Claymore, again Smiley

v6.2:

- released version for Linux with nvidia support.
- fixed Ethereum solo mining mode.
- added "-cvddc" and "-mvddc" options for adjusting voltages for latest AMD 4xx cards.
- now you can turn on/off cards in runtime with "0"..."9" keys.
- bug fixes.

Great Work :-) Now Dual Soloing works perfect with your miner. (Parity 1.3 / Sia UI 1.0.2)

EthDcrMiner64.exe -epool http://localhost:8545 -dpool http://localhost:9980/miner/header -dcoin sia -mode 0 -dcri 45 -tstop 85 -allcoins 1 -allpools 1 -ethi 16 -dbg -1 -di 012345

Thanks,

cg

any comments?

In your case miner has to recreate DAGs but it does not reallocate memory on GPU, so it can fail only if your PSU is weak (generation DAG requires more power than mining itslef) or GPUs are overclocked too much.
You can try "-gser 1" or "-gser 2" if it is PSU. If not and you don't want to reduce clocks, there is nothing that you can do with this miner if you want to mine ETC solo.
You can also try "-allcoins -1" option (note not "1" but "-1") to recreate DAGs at start, but in an hour it will do it again. Though, if it works, you can set "-r 60" to restart miner before it, but it is not smart solution anyway.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.

Anybody tried 6.2 with multiple Pascal cards?

Will try when I get home. With 6.1 I got about 30MH/s total for 4 1070s with latest drivers...

Working on something good. Pls support.

OP updated.

NVIDIA DRIVERS:
Windows 7 x64 is highly recommended for Nvidia cards, in Windows 10 often there is no way to get good hashrate because of buggy drivers.
9xx cards in Windows 7 x64: just use latest/recent drivers from Nvidia website (for example, 368.81).
10xx cards in Windows 7 x64 (read readme.txt there): https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B69wv2iqszefQVRfOEhWS0FCdUE

Thanks Claymore.

I'm going to keep mining Vertcoin for now since I don't want to waste hours getting Win 7 and setting things up.

The basement is at 36C right now, I'd rather not get a heat stroke.

Working on something good. Pls support.

ubuntu 14.04 amdgpu-pro_16.30  rx480*6
-No shows temperature and fans speed
-Options does not work "-powlim, -cclock, -mclock"

Miner uses ADL to access temps/fans (libatiadlxx.so). Make sure you have latest APP SDK. I did not check it for Linux, if you have latest drivers and APP SDK it means that AMD did not support ADL for latest cards in Linux yet. But if miner shows "AMD ADL library not found, temperature management for AMD GPUs disabled." it means that you don't have ADL lib installed.

installed the latest driver and latest APP SDK.

And another problem.
The syslog errors are continuously

Linux is a problem, always.
Well, it seems AMD does not support ADL v10 in Linux yet. In Windows it works fine. I will build a system with Ubuntu with latest drivers and RX480 to confirm it.
"VM_CONTEXT1_PROTECTION_FAULT_ADDR" error - not sure that it is a problem of miner, it can be issue in drivers. What Linux version? What drivers version? I tried to reproduce it but it seems I'm doing something wrong.

Hi Claymore, Thank you for version 6.2

I tried to setting same settings that I use on Wattman. It threw artifacts and whole system froze. So ... restart
I guess the settings for mining can not be specified dynamic. So it forces same voltages at all states ? Am I missing something?
Thank you

I don't know exactly why, but I think that's not possible. SIA can only be mined as a second coin, meaning you'll always have to mine ETH, ETC or one of the other coins that use the dagger-hashimoto algo as a primary coin.

Right?

You cannot mine Sia only with Claymore, if you want to do this have a look at:

https://sia.suprnova.cc/index.php?page=gettingstarted

You can download miners for all different flavours there (AMD/NVIDIA) and mine directly.

Hi Claymore,
first of all thank you for creating such a great software.

I have been using dual miner 6.1 on my GTX 1060s. Win 10 anniversary edition. WDDM 2.1. getting 21Mh/s
Memory controller load is 100%
Memory used is 1936MB out of 6GB available.
GPU load is 100%

I have OCed  0/+700
Am I getting bottlenecked at the memory controller? Can you do something to allocate more memory and decrease load on the controller?
Thank you

Please tell me a version driver u use ..  cause i try 1060 x2  use all  claymore 6.0, 6.1  still 4 mh/s

Hello, I am using 369 (latest version) Make sure you go to nvidia website and install CUDA toolkit 7.5 or 8.0 whichever you like.
Perform a clean install of drivers when drivers are getting installed (you will have to select "custom installation" option) and then you will get a clean installation prompt. Have you installed anniversary windows 10 update? You will HAVE TO install that before you install new drivers.
so 1) Uninstall current nvidia drivers
2) install windows 10 anniversary edition
3) install latest nvidia drivers
4) install nvida CUDA toolkit
and you should be good to go.
Non OC version gets me 17 Mh/s while OC (just memory OC is necessary) will give you about 20-22 Mh/s variable

Good luck

Thank you 3 times.   It's work when i use 1060x2  or  970x2  but it's don't work when i mixed 10xx with 9xx together in 1 rig.
and i got 19.5mh/s for 1060 and 19.7mh/s for 970 non OC.

Linux version segfaults on clean ubuntu 16.04 + beta nvidia drivers (370.23) + cuda 7.5

Working AMD 4xx and NVIDIA 10xx in Linux is a hack - no stable drivers and you have to do many strange actions, for example:
https://forum.ethereum.org/discussion/7780/gtx1070-linux-installation-and-mining-clue-goodbye-amd-welcome-nvidia-for-miners
For now I decided not to check the reason because both AMD and NVIDIA drivers for latest cards for Linux are buggy.
I tested miner on Ubuntu 14.04 with cuda 7.5 and 367.35 drivers on 970/980 cards, works fine. Attempts to find some workaround to make miner work with buggy drivers (or attempts to find a way how to install/configure drivers to make them work as expected) will take too much time, better I will spend it for implementing new features.

Please read Readme and FAQ in the first post of this thread before asking any questions, probably the answer is already there.
