Arrived today Looking good, thanks

I'll pass on that for now, if you still need some when I have a bit more then I'll probably make it around that price, it's just that it's basically all I have

I have 0.5 billion (500000000) that I can sell you for 1.5 BTC if that's any good to ya? (And I definately have that much! I just checked, lol)

Good of you to respond genuinely, but the OP is still trolling in his second post. Notice how he mentions "his wife."
It's always worth posting a polite response. It's not like it takes me a lot of time, especially as I'm just passing the time at work while I'm on hold

tiptopgem and c0ffer usually post up gems for auction... There's been a quiet spell recently, so they're probably not posting up anything new for a little while...
There are still a few auctions running (and a few finished ones with a buy price) if you have a look over the 1st couple of pages.

It's a second hand card from ebay. Thankfully from a business rather than a private seller.
It's been agreed that I can return the card for a refund, so it'll be sent back later today... I'll just have to keep my eyes out for another one

Funnily enough since posting that I have tried a linux live cd and set up a usb pen with linux on it and had cgminer running....
Same results though, so I'm sending it back for them to test and probably give me a refund... It's weird though, it works totally fine for games and all the gpu stressing apps
But that's the way it goes, there's probably a small fault somewhere that only shows up under certain circumstances

I've got a 5970 here and it's in a machine running Windows XP...
The 1st GPU on the card runs perfectly, hashes at about 300MHash... The 2nd GPU on the card either doesn't start (crashes the driver) or the mining program reports hardware errors (tried poclbm, diablo and cgminer)
I've searched the forum and found that I'm not the only person experiencing this... However all the solutions seem to be for Linux, which I can't set up on this machine (for reasons I can't go in to!)
Can someone give me a soluton that will work for windows? (Or a driver version that will make it magically work)
Admitedly, the 2nd GPU could be dead, but with other people reporting similar things, I'd like to try a few things first if there's any suggestions...

To be honest, as long as my payments come in at about the same rate it doesn't really bother me too much what happens You've been a trustworthy pool operator, so I feel I can trust that whatever decision you make in this matter I've gotten my hands on a 5970, so hopefully I'll be throwing another 600+MHash into the mix as well

Payment has been sent

If this is still available I will offer you 5.1 BTC (because that's basically all I have, lol)

Well, I've got it up and running... I have no isk at all, after phoning around a few mates, apparently I sold it all to one of them back in August after I decided to stop playing for a while (I find it more likely that he logged in as me and stole it all). Sorry about that Maybe I'll get back in to it majorly again and have some to sell in the future. Edit: Saying that he stole them may not be true, I have been known to swap/sell large amount of online currency if I don't think I'll be playing for a long time. (I once swapped 10 million gil in Final Fantasy XI for a copy of World of Warcraft when it 1st came out because I couldn't get one from anywhere)

Well, 2002 wasn't a bad guess... I was somewhere around the age of 18-20 when I started playing, so I made a guess... (I miss the old character avatars ) I'm installing it again on my new machine, hopefully it won't take too long and hopefully I haven't mis-remember how much ISK I have either!
|
|
|
I'll have to check my balance when I get home... Can't log in from work
Not played for months, but I think I have something stupid like 200 billion in total (Started playing in 2002 I think)

Hi Slush! I am having a problem with rejected shares. With some of my cards rejected shares reach 15%. I tried all possible changes in the settings, without success. Then I tried disabling LP. I waited for an hour before restarting the rigs but didn't notice a significant improvement.
I'm using: 2 rigs with 3 6970 each one Phoenix 1.7 aoclbf 1.75
¿Am I doing something wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help.
You sure your cards aren't clocked a bit too high and occasionally give invalid results? When I took my 5830s up to 980MHz my invalid share rate went up, so I clocked them down to 950MHz and get basically the same amount of accepted shares and rarely any invalids. It's also possible that it's just one card that's not working properly (6 same spec cards = 16.66666% of your hashing power per card)

looks like he accidently sent it to deslok instead
|
|
|
After a PM discussion I have offered 6BTC
|
|
|
Very tempted to make an offer on this, but I'm waiting to see what happens with those other 2 auctions (and possibly a result for that gem I asked for) before I commit myself to anything else.
Don't want to accidently overspend my funds, lol
