How can we promote our faucet to get higher up the faucetbox list? My faucet is one of the top paying faucets, well established and its easy to  use yet people are generally not bothered about voting. What's even more annoying is that faucets which are only a few days old appear on the list higher than me...There is also faucets with huge downvote lines above me with minimal upvotes so I really dont understand the list?

I propose users are able to 'favourite' their favourite faucets. The more favourable a faucet is, the higher up the list it is.

Gridcoin just took over Monero on Coinmarketcap with $4,728,397 at spot #15!!! This is the first time this has happened.

I noticed that myself, very impressive. I'm happy to see Gridcoin doing so well. You will be top 10 in no time.

I expect this to take over LTC. I dont mean it's worth $4 per coin but that I see more value in this coin than ltc...and btc Tongue

what determines the order of the faucetlist? I pay more and have been running longer than some of these new faucets which are popping up above me.

No way we'll implement reversing payments by owners, that would be abused over and over again.

Banning addresses is a feature that can be implemented in your faucet script if you want (Faucet in a BOX script supports that), but frankly it's pointless. Bots can create new addresses instantly and for free. What could be useful is banning IP addresses. If they're from single network, then it makes sense to ban it. Check your logs and check if there's any pattern in IP addresses. If there is, please send it to me and I'll work on adding it to Nastyhosts.com.

Also FaucetBOX.com won't reverse these payments. There's no way to tell which ones are legit and which ones are not. Heck, it's possible that these aren't even bots at all, but you just got promoted on some rotator. It's not possible to tell the difference from our point of view and we're here to protect interests of users and owners equally.

Do you use any measures to block bots except for captcha?

I spent three hours going through all of those addresses, verifying patters, updating the withdraw threshold and then logging them. I can't believe what you've just written, I'm disgusted.

Is this happening to anyone else? Not to me and I have one of the highest payouts, surely I would get my faucet raped. I think it must be your script Tongue. I have no sympathy for you by the way. You're rude to those offering their advice/suggestions even if it's wrong. I mentioned it could possibly be coinwall as I used to run a GPT site abiabck.com and had to deal with fraud. I even said "I don't know how coinwall works", and you said I dont know what I'm talking about, I didn't know coinwall themselves verifies and send payments. So I'll just leave it, figure it out yourself FFS! Let me guess, it's a custom script and you dont know shit!

Getting raped. I need to be able to ban users from this screen!!! This would be the most powerful tool.

I have found hundreds of addresses again Kaz.

...you have coinwall surely thats why such large amounts are leaving. You just better hope those offers dont get reversed! I used to run abitback.com and had to deal with it all the time. If you've not got some proxy detection you're going to get screwed, that is if coinwall works like other offerwalls?

is there any refferal option in your faucet box faucet ?

kidn regrrads
sorry not at the moment. There may be one for the radio instead of the faucet.
Rewards have been changed to every 10h until faucetbox sort out their list. Kind of sucks when there are scammy faucets higher which pay lower due to bot clicks. Once a new fair list has been establish I will change to every 30mins.

You can now only claim every hour. Currently not profitable at the moment so need to change some things. Hopefully be every 30mins soon.

If you really think about it, there is really no way to even begin to comprehend the scientific implications if Gridcoin really does take off and millions of Boinc participants and commercial mining entities come into the picture. Simulations that may have previously taken several months or even years with current distributed computational power may end up being completed in days/hours. The time savings alone for scientists would be incalculable. IT BOGGLES THE MIND!!!

Gridcoin is getting to be really exciting actually Smiley such a good coin! Should take over Litecoin! Personally I'm rather attached to bitcoin but I dont know why it couldn't be a better than bitcoin? has bitcoin got anything that gridcoin doesn't?

First mover advantage.

But the big thing about gridcoin is that the computations you do solve real world problems, eg. protein folding, simulating a brain,....

Imagine if Gridcoin was as big as Bitcoin, then it would be by far the fastest and biggest supercomputer in the world, run by people all over the world, solving the world's scientific problems!

Is there a list or something that shows the latest problems solved thanks to Boinc?

I got also a lot of 250 and 1 500 and i don't believe in so much bad luck.

After getting 6x 250's in a row, I finally got a 2000 on my 7th attempt. I'm not a mathematician, but that is definitely not a 20% chance lol
oh Smiley I just sent you a PM! nice.
