I support this tremendously.

If you want people to invest you are going to have to disclose much more detail on where you are manufacturing these chips, when you expect to get them, their specs, etc.

Coinbase Instant Bitcoin

One of the unforeseen industry changes: The new Coinbase instant Bitcoin capability really makes things interesting. This should definitely raise the price, but could also cause rapid price fluctuations. It is now becoming a bit easier for people to instantly get Bitcoin at their computer without running to a physical location. Expect some nice upswings in Bitcoin price in the next 24 hours.

Coinbase will now see a major rise in signups, which helps Bitcoin tremendously. I have been using their service for a long time and love it. It takes 30 days for someone to get to "Level 2" which allows instant available bitcoin. By end of august a lot of new users will be buying bitcoins for instant use. Not having to wait 4 business days to receive Bitcoin is a trigger to buy. Expect price fluctuations to increase a lot by end of august with an upwards trend. I have yet to see how well Coinbase will handle buying and selling in rapid succession, I'll test it out though and post an update.

The rapid evolution of Bitcoin is a lot of fun to watch. It is definitely maturing.

Huh, coinbase is instant now?

Easier?  Maybe.  Bigger? No.

I'm just trying to figure out what exactly we are doing that might run afoul of regulation.  Is it because it's a non-publicly registered company in the US selling shares on a virtual exchange?

I like the changes that have been made and am seriously considering a significant (for me) investment in the newly configured company.  I'm just trying to gauge the risk that the rug might be pulled out from under the asset.  Not being familiar with the rules has me at a serious disadvantage.

This is some good news.  Definitely doesn't make it completely legal but a great step forward.

Can anyone confirm recieving their new shares after sending to AMC-TENDER on bitfunder?  I pretty much did it hours after you could start and nothing so far.

May I assume the new ActiveMining shares will be sold at the price of 0.0025?

I asked in IRC and he confirmed yes, 0.0025 per share for ActiveMining.

You can buy AM shares directly from https://bitfunder.com/asset/AM (BitFunder). We are also working on getting AM approved on BTC-TC;

How will initial price of AM shares be determined?

Can we start focusing on BTCT.CO?  Seems like the most secure and trusted marketplace.

+1
and let the Bitfunder have the PT  Smiley I Btctco and Litecoin Global have way better usability that BitFunder. Yes, BitFunder's charts are good but everything else is just a mess. Ukyo, it's  nothing personal Wink

Check out http://coinflow.co for nice charts.

I like Bitfunder and I will avoid as much as possible changing to another site, I find all the others pretty confusing for people like me that just want to buy and stay.

Take a look at btct it is much less confusing.  with silly bitfunder you have to use weExchange, their fees are much higher, and the website is extremely amateur in terms of security.

Only read through a small part of it and I'd say that dev's response counts as a huge success (and a credit to the game developers open mindedness). As to the other responses, ignore them. If the developers hadn't responded I'd say stir it up a bit more to boost the views as the smarter folks will look into it for themselves but imho that would be disrespectful now. Don't forget the shill's either, games where their first big area and you can assume every game forum has at least a few paid for by bigger game companies to keep an eye on progress and encourage dissatisfaction.

I later learned this was actually the CEO!  I will definitely PM him with a thought out message.

I have AMC-PT Shares on BTC-TC. I am reading that we need to swap them to VMC? Which hasn't started a PT on BTC-TC yet?!

Ditto.

On the thread you state;

But what risk are they taking on? Are you saying that OKCupid has damaged/risked its website? What about Reddit - they accept bitcoin too. What about municiple websites - did you know you can pay your electric, water, court fees, parking tickets through bitcoin now anywhere in the US?

Where can you pay your utilities in BTC?

Proper word should have been municipal services...fixed

After reading that forum thread I kind of want to go to the local high school and slap some teachers. How the hell are so many so ignorant of the basics about the world. Of course I know the answer before asking.. schools do not educate anymore, they are just baby sitting future welfare dependents that are expecting someone else to do all the thinking and work.

I average about 5 conversation's a day to people explaining BTC/LTC/ALTs etc. just as chsados did. 4/5 tend to nod and say they understand to a point but 1 usually gets scared or angry at me as if I'm trying to destroy mankind. Amazing ignorance in the world today. I'm not surprised considering how many people do not pay attention to history.

Okay, I'm off to the bank to trade my paper into gold! ( Smiley )

Be well.
T.

physical? what bank in the US trades out gold?

He is poking fun at one of the commentors in the thread that claims that dollars are backed buy the gold standard and one can trade them in for gold.  This was in response to me saying that bitcoin is just as "imaginary" as his dollars in his bank account and paypal.

Bitcoin is an artificial digital currency that is mainly used to buy porn on the internet. I'm not convinced it is much of anything beyond a complex moneylaundering scheme, but only time will tell.

Should have said drugs, would be more dramatic...

I know right, I never heard anyone identify bitcoin as a porn ecosystem.  Drugs yea, porn?
