AMC Dividends Paid 0.00001830/share
woah... AM divs quintupled my ASICMINER divs. I am thoroughly impressed or happy. Could this be a mistake? It was 1/5th of the returns i was getting from ASICMINER, now its 5 times that of ASICMINER. Do i dare ask how? 3 Avalon machines came online just before div last week I think - however I may be wrong

The 3 avalons came in and also it looks like the dividends are being paid out correctly now. Only sold shares held by investors are being paid. I am glad this issue was resolved. I am pretty happy with the dividends paid.

I'm honestly not trying to spread FUD, but what are peoples thoughts on the likely-hood of intervention by U.S. authorities? I'm hesitant to re-invest as it seems that by incorporating in Belize and keeping a London address that Ken has been making very thin attempts at avoiding unwanted scrutiny. I just don't think those measures will actually work.
What 'rules' are not being followed to prompt such precautions?

I'd say 99% of the assets out there are even thinner, so there are easier fish to go after. Shares do not represent ownership, but rights to profits, everyone agreed on that before buying. Even btct.co describes itself as a virtual game. Active Mining Corporation is incorporated in Belize, just like btct.co.

Easier? Maybe. Bigger? No.
I'm just trying to figure out what exactly we are doing that might run afoul of regulation. Is it because it's a non-publicly registered company in the US selling shares on a virtual exchange?
I like the changes that have been made and am seriously considering a significant (for me) investment in the newly configured company. I'm just trying to gauge the risk that the rug might be pulled out from under the asset. Not being familiar with the rules has me at a serious disadvantage.

I think VMC (the only physical part of the company) is incorporated in Delaware

This is some good news. Definitely doesn't make it completely legal but a great step forward. https://wefunder.com/post/36-the-sec-just-voted-to-lift-the-ban-on-general-solicitation

Why are the divs so high? On Bitfunder, AMC + ActiveMining divs = 248BTC
Where did you get 248 BTC, or 35BTC a day? With 6 avalons, no way.

Bitfunder has 5 875 446 shares outstanding and btctc has 491 743. This is 6367189*0.00001830=116,5195587 Where did you get 248BTC ? Correction: AMC 7686710*0.00001830= is still out there... interesting. I was sure those shares are merged/replaced by ActiveMining

Remember that ActiveMining receives its dividends through the AMC shares it holds by tendering, so summing both is wrong.

I'm sorry if this was already asked, but what happens with my AMC shares on BTCT.CO? Will they automatically be replaced with AM Shares? How do I switch?
Thanks

If only outstanding shares that count are 7,686,710 of AMC, rest of the stuff is still a pass troughs (PT)? So, why did he not just force the switch from A to B - convert the AMC to ActiveMining and be done with it. Did some people already buy "new" ActiveMining shares from the issuer? How many?

Only a few times lol active They will become ActiveMining shares automatically once the ActiveMining offering gets approved on btc-tc, you dont have to do anything unless you want the shares moved to bitfunder

There is no function on BitFunder to change one share to another at the moment, Kan and Deprived are in talks to do it on btc-tc tho.

Ok so AMC earned 141BTC then. How did they almost triple their div in a week? Each avalon machine is 1.1BTC a day, they would need 15-20 Avalons to generate that income. Edit: on top of this, they are still doing 430GH/s, so nothing changed from last week.

In all seriousness... it might have been a typo. 183 satoshi's would have been expected, 1830 has to be a mistake.

Or does your approach to business require abandoning this barbarous habit? As for 'One can speculate why...', give it up won't you? It has gotten stale and dare I say, very boring.
