1  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Poker Table Starters Wanted on: April 13, 2015, 09:17:16 PM
Hello,

I'm a "not bad" poker player, used to multitable on Pokerstars or Fulltilt (10 to 20 tables on cash games), a bit more than break even but not a poker genious.

But I'd like to understand what you are looking for exactly and what you would propose as a retribution as it is not clear to me yet.
Also, how long do you need the players to play, and what games (only Holdem? Omaha? others? | Tournements/SnG/Cash), at what stakes?

Thanks

Obviously bitcoins are not kept away from fraud tentative. As it is worth money, we will see those attacks often.

Luckily the bitcoin community is "technologically advanced" and would probably stay away from those simple attack like phishing or malwares.

Just stay aware, and be careful with the suspicious things.

Hello,

What time does the tournament start?
You said 2.30 in your post but it is shown 9.30 in the website.

is it AM? PM? EST time ?

Thanks !

Where did you see 9:30? I didn't see that.

Should be 2:30 PM EST time. And I just check that in the PC client, it's in my late night time, I couldn't join that.  Angry

Good luck guys!

Here, in the web client:

Hello,

Can we have the reward probabilities?
for example 250(90%), 500(10%)

So I can check if I can insert it in the faucet list I am building.

Hello,

I have been playing a little while. Here are my observations :

- nice website, nice interface, easy to use and nice to watch!

about the game, i liked it. Original, but really easy to understand, quick, simple, a good one!

Some little things that could be added:
- the bet size is not "easy" to change. you could add some quick buttons like 0.001/0.01 etc... to make it easier to chose.
- If I log out and log in again, i don't see my bets anymore. Maybe the own history could be more persistant, not only on the session, but for one hour or  time-based, but not session-based.
- It would be nice to have an auto-bet (x5, x10, x20...) next to the "place bet" button, to enable a simple autobet functionality. The autobetting functionality is nice but complex, so adding a simple one would be nice.

I hope this will help.
This project really liked me, congratulations! Smiley

14  Economy / Exchanges / Exchange places - fees comparison on: March 26, 2015, 03:36:43 PM
Hello,

I am willing to start "trading" or at least playing a little bit with the coins.
I have tried to check the fees on different exchange places but it is not always very clear. Generally the transaction fee is well explained, but not the withdrawal fees for instance.

Is there a thread (i couldn't find it) or site with a comparison of the fees and commissions taken by the exchange places?

Thanks
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin trading - buying new coins? on: March 25, 2015, 06:33:38 PM
Thanks for your answer.
I still don't understand what are the factors that can make someone think that a new coin will gain value.
Is it pure speculation and trading game? Or has it some fundamentals that I am missing?
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Altcoin trading - buying new coins? on: March 25, 2015, 06:04:57 PM
Hello,

I am quite new in this world. I have read and studied lot of information about bitcoins first and then altcoins.

But there is something I can't figure out.

I am seeing in the exchange places some new coins having lots of buy orders. I really wonder who would buy some new coin and why?

I can understand the mining of those coins, and the will to sell them to make some profit. But i can't really understand the buying process. How can we think a new coin will gain value (most of them have no real enhancement in comparison of existing leading coins) ?
I guess the coin makers can try to level up the prices placing buy orders and increasing liquidity, but there are probably not the only one to place buy orders.

This is a genuine question as I am not understanding this part of the market.

Thanks!
