In that case, would you mind changing the #of threads dropdown to a fixed number we can change, without trying to detect the cores? On my Atrix, SGS and Nexus 7, more than 1 thread is not an option in the menu until I have changed the orientation to horizontal.
Have you been able to figure out why the miner stops mining and all the fields go back to default when the orientation changes?
If you have abandoned development on this project, have you considered making it open source?

Nobody expects Litecoin to be as valuable and popular as Bitcoin, that doesn't even make sense. The point is, that many altcoins are only created to benefit their creators and have no long term future. And I can think of a few scenario's in which Litecoin can be somewhat useful for a specific purpose, but not so much that it's a good idea to pour any money in it. Oh really? So, how did coblee benefit from the creation of Litecoin? LTC donations? Mining early on and waiting for suckers who buy in hoping to find the next Bitcoin? Oh right, because Bitcoin is open source for no reason because it's perfect the way it. Open your eyes, dumbass. It's open source so someone can build off it. There's nothing wrong with trying to recreate Bitchcoin's success with another coin. You guys scared? If it's useless, then don't bother other people about. My guess is that there's room for at least a few more similar competing currencies to thrive, re: LTC is silver to BTC as gold.
No If they function similarly, couldn't there be a ton of value in having LTC as a hedge? No If this is true, why is the price stagnating while BTC is rising so steady and fast? Counter proposition: How about sub forums for alt chains each?
That would be awful. Twenty new alt coins come out every day, and then 20 more die. Keeping track would just be insanity, and there would be those butthurt when their subforum was then deleted on the grounds that the chain is dead, but they would argue that three people use the coin, so its not dead, etc etc. I say we just put a [LTC], [NVC], [RUC], [EAR] and so on and so forth in threads that aren't just off topic so people can more easily find threads that are relevant to the coins they use. I think that's what he meant. All new ones and general topics can stay in this main forum. NVC doesn't need one, neither does RUC, or EAR. I think LTC, PPS, and TRC would be more appropriate. |

I personally traded out of that much this week just because I happened to have that much and decided the trend had moved away from LTC as a viable "Bitpenny" proposition (I still think we need one, but LTC has failed for a variety of reasons). I have no interest or investment in the BS politics of the whole "scene".
