Subbed. Like the backing of actual hardware.
Indeed and shockingly it appears the shares are priced to reflect close to the actual cost of the hardware.

Here is the full story on the cards: I bought eight Sapphire 5850 last year (May 2011) from TigerDirect (and one from NewEgg). They ran in 3 cloned machines, 3 cards each, overclocked and for about two months straight. As it turns out, the Sapphire cards have cheap/terrible stock fans, which began to die one by one. I think only three cards have good fans now I posted about the dead fans back when it happened in this thread. The fan basically just spins at 500RPM max. I doubt the cards are damaged otherwise, but I'd boot each one up to check prior to putting them up for sale (if they're worth it). I just threw them in a closet after they "died" because the Bitcoin market was crashing at that time and I couldn't be bothered to RMA them to Sapphire or replace the fans myself. Yes have one of them Sapphire 5850 real piece of junk fans on them seen the same symptoms on mine and it still survives to this day with after market fan on it so again if interested in sale I willing to take chance on it/them just post them to make sure they do that would be all I ask.

i'd take the lot if so for the right price.. Whereabouts is that price, do you suppose? If they're only worth like $50 each, then it probably isn't worth my time to test and package them all, for example. I would do $75 a piece for a couple of them with nothing but broken fans wrong with them plus pay the shipping I'm located in Canada. If your interested let me know I would want them shipped without the HS&F just the bare boards, no sense paying for 4 or 5 pounds of dead weight.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the card or fan/heatsink it just wasn't installed correctly as far as I can tell and is running cool as it is, but your concerns are valid. What part of Canada? I am in Connecticut right now. I'm in Nova Scotia so fairly close to you I would want the shipping via the USPS Priority Mail International hopefully marked as gift value under $25 on the declaration form. I was thinking I would do 3 BTC on the cost of the shipping.

I'll offer 15BTC as your description of it makes it sound as a take your chances type of deal, shipping would be to Canada not sure where you are located but would probably pay some of the shipping as well. We could go with escrow service or you put up auction on Bitmit with the escrow option enabled to achieve the same result.

The previous 5970 (same make and model as the one I'm selling) was faulty (was blue screening under load) so I RMA'ed it and Sapphire send back this one. This card is factory overclocked and runs with each core at 850 MHz.
The last part being the reason you had to RMA the settings in the BIOSs for it are junk, once you do some editing this card runs damn well and cool due to fans on it. So in short now I screwed with it a bit the card works great at a rock solid 800 MHz on each core at 1 volt for a savings of 110 watts of power drawn from the wall over the shipped settings. Thanks.

General currency stopped being issued in silver in the UK by 1948 and they went from sterling to .500 in 1919 don't know about Canada?
Your good up until 1968 I believe it was in Canada for silver coin and perhaps 1969 for the lesser silver content ones. The OP is best off going to a coin dealer to get them coins checked to see if they have collector value instead of just melt value of the silver.

So it sounds like everyone wants to get started sooner rather than later. As for verification of my has rate, I took a screen cap of my farm monitoring webpage. -> https://i.imgur.com/ctnX9.jpgYou'll notice all GPUs are underclocked as it's getting a little hot here in FL. I guess it's time to talk with Nefario and get my glbse.com account verified. My coins can't wait to roll in! The sheeple lining up to be fleeced, it is a beautiful sight..

Pirate can also edit the software to automatically subtract his 10% or whatever he charges for the service.
Purchase price *.9090909091 dropping the seventh digit past the decimal of the result seems to be the magic number to get the most for your hash power when a purchase is running, so close enough to 10% that it don't really matter.

At the right price, it becomes worth it to me (or anyone) to seize his property or provide material support to imsaguy (if this debt is no longer severable from the class of creditors) to do the same. I'll take a chunk of the restitution funded by the forfeiture of his car, his computer, or his vintage prurient daguerrotype collection, if such were to exist.
Since there is no security in place through a binding contract any such action would get you arrested.

I doubt skakaru ever went into this planning on losing all the money or scamming people in any way.
Well they do say the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
|
|
|
Not knowing all the terms of the pooled repayment system that imsaguy worked out with creditors, what leverage is there in terms of collections?
By this I mean purely legal means, not illegal harassment.
As with anything BTC related absolutely nothing guarantees it he can walk away from his obligations any time he wants.

Monty Python and the Holy Grail as the only time is it funny or even remotely understandable is when your wacked out of it.

Unless my Kill-A-Watt is broken that figure is crazy my 5850 takes 230w, full GPU usage during hashing, from the wall according too it. That is whole machine single slot board with pentium 2180 1gb ram and hard drive with all unnecessary devices turned off in BIOS clocks set to 900,300.

lol, sorry likuidxd :p...
DILLIGAF check your PM box, I sent you the tracking #.
Yes I have seen it, thanks.

Excellent. Thanks. I've confirmed receipt of payment. The card will be shipped today in the morning (around 9:30'ish am EST).
Let me know when you get it and please do put it through some extensive testing. The card is still under the manufacturer's warranty period. The card was bought locally 3/26/2011. However Sapphire's warranty terms are disappointing. It looks like only the original purchaser can RMA the card.
Oh yeah it will be extensively tested alright that baby is going to be hashing about ten minutes after I get it and I will post back in the thread once it gets here perhaps the next day just to confirm it works as expected.

I dunno if it came with any power splitters though - just a few dongles (dvi, etc) and a crossfire bridge. The card takes 2 8-pin PCIE power connectors.
Check your PM box.
Alright payment sent to your address provided. d72e13c73678f58be5cdae16329300930a02c17a5f5b4f98185985fec94f9592

Yep, I shall do that. I take it also that you don't need the accessories that came with the board? If not I will ship it in the same box the RMA came in (it will have a lot of foam around it).
No don't need the disks, if it had any splitters for the power could use them. I'm going to PM you the address to send to and you can post a BTC address to send the BTC too. I'm confident enough the price of postage will be within your range that you may as well be sending the package when your there checking. BTC price right now is $4.75 so ~73.7 BTC does this sound good to you?

Where is this shipping from?
Ontario, Canada. I can declare a lower value for the card if it helps as well. I'l take it for $350 shipped via Canada Post Expedited Parcel to Nova Scotia postal code B4H 3J9. It's yours Let me confirm the shipping cost first thing today in the morning - shouldn't be more than $25 or $32 or somewhere around that range. If this is the case it's all yours. Ok let me know then I'm thinking you could probably get away with $20 for that service level, one I got from Ottawa last week was something around the $30 range Xpresspost if I remember the label correctly.
