Poramin is Thai and you should probably chill with the racist comments. He and Gary successfully implemented Zerocoin protocol which is not a mean feat in itself. They are still working full time on this and you can see their work on the github. They quickly fixed the reindex issue and have pumped in a lot of time and are still invested in it. Poramin has also further confirmed on Slack that none of their coins were dumped on Trex and that all of them were used to pay bounties and some partially moved for easy use as they're tagged for bounties. Marketing discussion should be in the main thread me thinks and I think we need to build the eco-system before marketing. If anyone wants to reply to this then quote it in the main thread.
Marketing discussion and market discussion mean different things. While marketing means advertising or promotion of certain aspects of the brand, market discussion covers exchange and trading related topics such as technical analysis and price predictions. Nobody permits u to create a separate thread whatever u want to post there. Monero has a very limited utility and hence a loose network effect since there is only a few vendors that accept XMR or transact funds via its anonymous blockchain. In hindsight I personally am very doubtful that any crypto besides btc excels in these subjects in the near future so it would take a lot of time for any ecosystem to develop organically. Its supposed to work the other way around not just like someone decided to ramp it up coz one or two DNMs started to accept pay in monero. Your point? You just reiterated my statement. Be aware that this thread gets pruned of offtopic discussions so if you guys want to make plans then don't be surprised if all your hard work gets deleted because you put it in the wrong place. Some of us have been here long enough that you may want to head our advice. Ive also been here long enough, seen mintpal & vircurex crash, seen many funniest things in crypto... U can keep that advice for ur children if u have any but not for me, pal. U posted in the price speculation thread about marketing in the first place, so I told u that u might have misled the meaning of "marketing" vs "market discussion". low volume, falling price. Damn! XMR is killing me. I have invested all my BTC into XMR and already buried in a loss. Will it bounce back soon ? Or will it return to ts cage (0.004) ??
The latter is more likely. Anyways there is no real players in this market, most of the volume u have seen in the beginning of this spontaneous pump came from bots and fake buys by polo's proprietary market-maker which by the way does not seem to be paying any fees to exchange as long as they plow up >= 120,000K BTC per month. The same bot has pumped ETH, ETC, MAID, it even became trivial... As the saying goes, money comes money leaves. Time to forget about this crap unless it goes below certain conditionally acceptable level like 0.0035 where I can consider going a moderate long. |

What is coming in 2 days for the next fork?
I assume nothing since the main and only idea in those pumps has always been to 1) pre-pump a ruse BLOATchain poop to ridiculous levels; and 2) bot-squeeze the hell outta shorters --> which is what we are seeing right now. Notice how ass revolting bots at polo haunt ur stops if u happen to jump onto margin. So at this point its totally alright and acceptable that it was pre-pumped 2 days ahead of schedule. The market is being gamed by one single dude / group, with money used for pumping ETH, exclusively for polo, in the same style they wring out breakouts, same bots they use to pull irrational thrusts, classics. I saw it coming mile away, all the same fucking footprints all around there. All shit timed with important decision points or pumps in bitcoin. What is coming within a few days should be a no-brainer. |
