121  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without setting stop loss (Risky or Not)? on: November 13, 2020, 02:28:04 PM
Stop-loss is a thing that is used to reduce your losses with a minimum amount. Suppose your strategy or your following strategy is wrong and there has a chance of losing the money that you deposited. In such cases, stop loss will give relief to you from big losses. So every time try to set stop loss otherwise the problem can be done in anytime and your money can be lost which will take a huge time to recover or chance of losing.
yes, in order for us not to lose so much we can use this feature, if we can't monitor our trades we can use that Stop loss. Like last time, actually I missed my trade and now it dumps. Since then in order for me to avoid that again because I can't monitor it I used that, it is not risky but I actually it helps and it is the solution that we can use. but if you can day trade and have time then don't use it.
It is necessary to know that each of our analyzes is not necessarily correct, moreover we cannot always monitor the market, therefore stop losses are necessary if our analysis is wrong, so that we do not get carried away with bigger losses. besides that with stoploss we can train discipline and emotional

122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading mistakes on: November 13, 2020, 02:24:44 PM
mistakes are commonplace for traders, especially for new traders, there will be many mistakes they experience,
I have also experienced them myself, mistakes for not placing stop losses, mistakes for not being able to read the chart,
and mistakes not being able to control your appetite, haha it will make us stronger
You can learn it mate, there are free youtube tutorial that you may watch for additional learnings, there are some exchange that will give you demo coins as well, there are some ebook that you may use as reference as well, there will be a solution in every mistakes that we may encounter each time that we fall, we just need to move forward and learn everytime we lose.
in trading profit or loss is a common thing, it is impossible as a trader to experience continuous profit, but sometimes their analysis is also wrong. I think the most important thing is how to respond to our victories and losses to survive in the market. On the other hand, the mistakes we have ever made, mostly our psychological factors are less mature

123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Extreme greed on the market on: November 13, 2020, 02:20:33 PM
Hey guys,
By recent Fear&Greed Index bitcoin is in extreme greed area, usually it's a sign of decline in price or even crash. I've been observing this index for quite some time and find it pretty accurate, of course it doesn't give you the exact day or time but it indicates the sentiment on the market. Do you ever use this index in your trading analysis?

To tell you frankly dude, I had been hearing Fundamental and technical analysis for quite sometime but never try to apply this in the actual trade.
Or I maybe applied sometimes Technical Analysis just don't when bur most of the time I most often depend only on the coins in the platform exchange that has a good volume and huge traders as well something like that.
Fundamental analysis is very complex in analyzing. I personally use technical analysis or chartist more often. on the one hand with technical analysis we can day trade and get multiple profits. Fundamental analysis will usually have an effect in the long run, I think the most important thing is back to personal trading style, which one we are more comfortable wearing

125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum 2.0 delays thread on: February 10, 2020, 03:01:23 AM
I'm a little disappointed with this delay but that's it doesn't matter because Ethereum lovers will remain patient waiting for the launch of Eth v2.0 in this year. maybe the development team is compiling the right plan for the launch of Eth v2.0 and for now there is no reason not to invest in Ethereum despite to happens the delay in v2.0. keep buying ETH and HODL.

I think there is no choice but to hold your ethereum, but if you want to let go of ethereum and trade bitcoin it's not a problem because the ethereum 2.0 launch process is still very long so if you waste your time just to wait it only gives you losses, more good you use your capital to trade in other coins first so that there is an investment from you to rotate capital to always be able to make a profit.
for me holding ethereum the most important thing is that prices go up and targets are reached. and for ethereum 2.0 I don't think it needs to be waited for, because several times the event failed. later when it will happen, I think a lot of news will expose it, and we can strategize again

126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trust USDT? on: February 10, 2020, 02:57:14 AM
I fully believe in USDT because so far this token has been stable at $ 1 USD unlike altcoin which prices go up and down.
considering this token is in the top 5 coin marketcaps that almost all market exchanges exist and must be paired with the king of crypto (bitcoin). when exchanged to FIAT in all countries the value remains $1 USD
USDT is a place for temporary asset parking while waiting for the market to return to bullish. so we can buy at cheap prices. but this coin is not suitable for investment, because there is no increase in price and tends to be stable even when the market is bearish

127  Economy / Economics / Re: The Future Crypto Market & China Printing Money on: February 10, 2020, 02:08:43 AM
Seemingly this Corona Virus has put the Free World and its associated markets into shambles. From Dropping the Dow Jones over 500 points on Friday to now seemingly China "panic printing" money in the nice sum of 1.2 Trillion Yuan. Needless to say the real questions lie in "What Next"? "What's really going on"? "How will this effect everything"? "Are we in trouble"? As usual any thoughts and comments are more than welcome.

If China is really printing money, they would most likely keep that a secret.Nobody wants big inflation in China right now.By the way,the People's Bank of China has big reserves or dollars,US government bonds and gold.
Those reserves can cover the value of newly printed Yuans. There's no need to spread panic.Everything is under control in Asia. The corona virus will slowly fade away with the upcoming spring.
right, the calamity that is happening in China today is only for a moment, like the case of the old sars. although this disrupts the Chinese economy, but I think when the disaster ends they will still rise quickly, such as when building a hospital specifically corona. clear that China will not lose the market for its products.

128  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Blockchain Replace Banks? on: February 10, 2020, 02:04:15 AM
The creation of blockchain came with possibilities and predictions of a future where intermediaries could be eliminated entirely. It is capable of executing millions of transactions within seconds at a lower transaction cost and requires no centralized authorization.

With the blockchain trend going on as strong as the moment, is it possible that blockchain will replace banks any time soon in the future?

More here: https://www.hb-wallet.com/post/2018/12/20/can-blockchain-replace-banks

I don't think that banks will ever be replaced, and if they ever are it won't be in our lifetimes. I do think that crypto banking is something that is going to become more prevalent. There are already companies such as Tap that have come out with crypto banking apps, and I think this is just the beginning of the future of blockchain banking.
Crypto has its own place and banks have its own so if we say bitcoin or any other crypto is made to replace banks it's not right stall. We should keep the value of crypto and of the banks at the same time. But the reality is people now prefer to use crypto for storing money because it gives them a chance to earn and save at the same time. If we will store money in banks it will give us no profit.
crytocurrency is indeed associated with blockchain. but I don't think banks want to lose their place, because this is related to the economy of a country and the government that governs it. instead banks will adopt a blockchain to expedite bank tasks. I think the government will find a way for banks to continue to exist
129  Economy / Economics / Re: Travelling without currency-exchange worries on: February 10, 2020, 02:00:11 AM
I always take US dollars with me on all trips, because of the currencies that are accepted around the world, only the dollar has the greatest distribution. Euros, pounds and yuan are also quite widespread, but the dollar has no analogue yet.
well indeed the USD can be accepted in all countries but there still have to find an exchange that can be used to exchange your assets for local money because usually when you want to buy something will require local money. unless you have prepared everything so before going abroad you can prepare the funds needed first and use what applications to make payments so that you can travel without using paper money and only need the digital money you have.
Yes that is the one good alternative to their problem, having everything prepared before the trips happens so that you can fully enjoy whatever the occasion is. Yes the first comment says about bringing dollars but still some countries does not accept foreign currencies specially the market ones type of store so it will be still a problem later on. I really hope we can have our own cryptocurrency be accepted to lots of stores so that we can't have this kind of problem.
indeed for now the reality is we have to exchange our money in the fiat currency of the destination country, so that we are comfortable using it. but my hope is that the crypto currency will be regulated soon, so that it can become a global currency and make it easier for us to travel between countries

130  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we get people to use bitcoin as a currency? on: February 10, 2020, 01:56:36 AM
How can we get people to use bitcoin as a real currency and not just a quick way to get cash as a lot of people seem to do? When I say currency, I mean the literal definition of currency as something that is used as a medium of exchange.
Even online, there are only a few stores who are accepting it as payment.
You mean real currency "medium of exchange", I think many of us use bitcoin as medium of exchange, how about the trading?as you have said some stores accept it. If bitcoin is in note or coin form, it will solve the problem, but if bitcoin should be made in Fiat form it looses it's character as digital currency. I believe as each nation advances, that will be in place.
but most of the time is bitcoin as a currency as a means of payment is still rarely used, because related to regulations, practically bitcoin is only a tool for investment and trade, after that we can only exchange it for fiat currencies as a means of payment. on the other hand there are still few shops that accept it, let alone offline stores
131  Economy / Economics / Re: Can a Stock Market Crash affect Bitcoin? on: February 08, 2020, 05:31:58 PM
I was thinking that investors would think the cryptocurrency market as an alternative to traditional investment products.
Having said that, my point was that those two markets have a reverse impact.

If the stock market goes down, then investors would start searching for alternative (more profitable) investments and turn to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.
The last days stock market crash seems that lead the market cap of the crypto market down.

Does the Stock Market has impact over the Bitcoin price?

It can affect positively, in a sense that investors will turn to Cryptocurrency for a better alternative I think these stocks investors are fully much aware of Cryptocurrency trading and most of them already have invested in Cryptocurrency, we can say that they will turn majority of their portfolio in Cryptocurrency.
especially with low prices, of course, the more discounts you will get. With the sluggish stock market, there will certainly be more and more investors looking for opportunities to keep making a profit, so crypto can be chosen, especially bitcoin which has good trends for the long term.

132  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the strangest Fiat currency you have seen? on: February 08, 2020, 05:26:24 PM

Or Zimbabwe dollars:

Thats 100 000 000 000 000 $ bill. You have to be a millionaire to buy a chewing gum i guess.

I have one of those hanging on my wall.
I bought it on Ebay a few years ago.
Just a memento of how it can happen ("slow at sstart, then all of a sudden" se DM graph above) to have BTCUSD in the millions.

Every true bitcoiner should have one of those.

Zimbabwean economy has since crippled resulting in hyper-inflation to buy bread you need a wheelbarrow full of Zimbabwean dollars. Yet this country has the highest literate population as per country literacy in African nations, but the former President messed up things.
it is not only the former president that has made Zimbabwe's economy worse off, the policies taken seem to spoil its people to be unproductive, so that when oil prices fall they have no other reliable output. plus the chaotic economy makes this country become hyper inflation

133  Economy / Economics / Re: CORONAVIRUS IMPACT ON CHINA ECONOMY on: February 08, 2020, 05:22:19 PM
if the corona virus certainly has a negative impact on the economy in China, even the whole world will be affected too, because we know that the dependence of most countries in the world on China, but here I see the crypto market is increasing, maybe many people are securing their wealth on the crypto market for their better future

134  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin as a leading currency? on: February 07, 2020, 02:20:27 AM

Most people see bitcoin as a mere way to get rich apparently. Not knowing what is the real reason it was created in the first place. As of now, more and more establishments, businesses, and entities adopt payment through bitcoins. Which despite the high charges to compensate for bitcoin's volatility, is still a good step towards becoming a bonafide currency that everyone can use. So do your research, you should be able to see it.
It seems the company hasn't made Bitcoin as a payment tool for their products, I imagine if Google supports Bitcoin,
maybe Bitcoin could be a payment for their workers, like YouTube and Adsense, just a dream  Grin
if the big company uses bitcoin as a means of payment I think bitcoin will be increasingly known even though there is no legality. but unfortunately it hasn't happened yet and we have to wait for it

135  Economy / Economics / Re: INFLATION IN THE UNDERDEVELOPED COUNTRIES on: February 07, 2020, 02:12:06 AM
It is ridiculous that many currencies of developing countries are backed by the dollar, while the dollar itself, at the moment, is not backed up by anything.
Thus, inflation in a developing country is inevitable because it is under the direct influence of another economic system and a different currency.
If a collapse of the supply currency occurs, the native currency collapses with it. In addition, prices are constantly rising due to inflation and constant dollar cash injections into the economy.
The fact is that the United States of America has learned to maintain the price of its national currency at the expense of a strong army and through lending to different countries.  The fact is that the United States lends at interest in dollars, and also carries out various trade operations also in dollars, and also supports with its army, as well as with the dollar, those countries in which the army is absent or has little force.  I believe that as long as the United States takes a leading position in the world, the USD will successfully occupy the place where it is today.
right, that is what is happening right now, but now too many countries have started to become usd free. for undeveloped countries, they choose crypto for their currencies which are not affected by inflation. even so, this step is actually risky too

136  Economy / Economics / Re: Did I Miss Something?... on: February 07, 2020, 02:03:45 AM
It's very popular now because of the internet and that's why it has gained the attention to many investors especially to those that are chasing to buy in while it's cheap.
But despite of this drop, the majority of the news that I've seen is still giving positive report about the said stock/company.

It is so popular and that is why a lot of investors really want a piece of it. As I read on one of the articles, who doesn't want to own a stock that doubles in a month? I think that is how popular will it be in the future.
many people will be interested in buying it, especially for millennials like today, they don't have to work hard, but they have to work smart to get financial freedom. therefore take advantage of opportunities when prices are still low and the company has the potential, will realize the ideals

137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: February 05, 2020, 02:55:25 AM
I have tried to withdraw my 0.5 ETH from the exchange, but it wasn´t processed, it is 3 days since I requested and even they wrote on telegram chat that ETH and BTC withdrawals are live, it is not true. Still do not understand what happened, if they would like to scam people, then they won´t communicate with community members in this way, they would just leave without saying good bye.

On the contrary, they want to let believe that they are solving all the issues, hoping that people keep being active on their exchange. Make no mistake, they are 100% scam. I also tried to withdraw multiple times and it always failed with no response from their support.

yesterday I tried to withdraw from bcnex, and until now it is still pending, I asked the others instead they had been a pending week. until quite a while this thread was made it seems like there hasn't been any significant improvements, but the telegram group is still active, hopefully it will improve soon in the future

138  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Investment on: February 05, 2020, 02:48:10 AM
Investing in Cryptocurrency comes with associated risks like any other monetary investment. I asked myself this question 10 months ago if it was worth it to invest in it. First, before I made the decision to go through with the plan. I took my time to understand all the necessary details or terminologies involved. An important tool in investment is to be equipped with knowledge so that you will be able to spot the red flags and pull the plug before losing your capital. After equipping myself with knowledge, then I created a team of 5. We designed an algorithm that helps mitigate the risks and predict market trends with full control over our gains. At first trial for the first 3 months, the return was at 10%. After 6months, we were able to boost the return to 30% and thanks to the recent uproar in prices, we clocked a record 35% return last week. I would say it is worth investing in Cryptocurrency but it is best to do it the right. Feel free to drop your opinion.
I guess you would tend to sell out that algorithm for sure? 10% for a month is somewhat realistic compared to those people who do offer much more on monthly basis.

If you do make profit then congrats but hopefully this one isnt just an another side advertisement.
indeed the profit offered per month is not too excessive, 10% is a logical target, but we must be vigilant with the algorithm, because one day it will not suit certain conditions. for me it's better if we are good at trading manually

139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nothing is wrong with altcoins on: February 04, 2020, 02:23:06 AM
It's been proven over the last few years (think this time two years ago) whenever Bitcoin rises, it usually drags up the price of the other alt/cryptos as well. And, when the price falls so too do the alts.

Some coins are fashionable for a while (especially after ICO launch) but the true test is their application in the wider community.
indeed the movement of bitcoin will be followed by other altcoins, although not all altcoins, only altcoins can survive. while altcoin which is not able to develop will become junk coins. of course trust and community become the main capital of altcoin to develop, besides that products that help the community can make altcoin will still exist

140  Economy / Economics / Re: Future of Bitcoins - What will happens to BTC on: February 04, 2020, 02:09:23 AM
The way I view it, Bitcoin is already a world currency. I do know how imagine it to be, but it won’t get to that extent. For now, since you and everyone around the world is able to make use of it, and you can send money and also receive from anyone, then it’s already a world currency.

You make use of Bitcoin and the government does not charge you any tax (except if you use a regulated exchange), and your transaction is always peer-to-peer, then what else are you expecting? If you mean whether the government will accept it, no they won’t accept it, rather they would create their own cryptocurrency.
technological development without the support of the government I think will hamper its growth. although bitcoin is a global currency, and we are free to transact with people anywhere, but in reality to meet daily needs, we have to exchange it at local exchange. and that is subject to tax
