1481  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is Bitcoin Mixing legal for US citizens? on: August 12, 2016, 11:09:15 AM
Is it okay to send your bitcoins to a mixer as long as you're not doing anything illegal?
Thank you Smiley
I don't see why there has to be a rule against someone from us from using a mixing service. I mean it gives more benefits than the potential harm that it can give so why not?
1482  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sr. Member up for Auction on: August 12, 2016, 09:31:18 AM
i bid 0.036
i bid 0.036
I already bid for 0.036btc before you.So i think you have to increase it by 0.002 more to make next bid.
Mishra is correct. You should bid 0.038 if you want to be the highest bidder.

Anyway, I have decided to end the auction earlier.
The winner will be selected after 12 hours from this post.
I will be out for the next day so I will end this early.
1483  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: 1 000 000 SATOSHI for help testing on: August 12, 2016, 02:04:52 AM
This looks like a pretty impressive project. No comments here? Or deleted?
It's been three months from the OP. I doubt this project got any interest thus this thread have no replies. Why did you bumped it?
1484  Other / Meta / Re: Is it allowed to sell Bitcointalk account? on: August 12, 2016, 12:49:49 AM
So, some time ago there's this user who gave me a red trust because of selling an account. He said that selling account isn't allowed on this forum.
So please answer the question, "Is it allowed to sell Bitcointalk account?"
There is no rule against buying and sellin accounts so it is legal tho it is not encouraged by everyone. Some people oppose to this so expect to get a negative feedback because of the reason that they don't like what you are doing. Kinda fucked up but oh well.
1485  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sr. Member up for Auction on: August 12, 2016, 12:46:24 AM
Did you tag it with any feedback for the default on the loan that you gave to him?
Will you take it off once it is sold off to the bidder?
If all is done then I will put in a  bid of:

0.032

Does it have any feedback even neutrals whatsoever on the trust page?
I have not tagged it since it is in my possession.
No feedbacks is on the account from anyone. Completely neutral.

0.034

You're the highest bidder. If no one bids after 48 hours from your post, you win.

account gained +14 more activities. Total activity is 250+
Goodluck everyone!
1486  Economy / Lending / Re: questions about 2 types of collateral on: August 12, 2016, 12:41:40 AM
To answer your question:
What is considered collateral?

Collateral is something that can easily be resold to cover the loan value plus interest should the loaner default on the loan.

- The best collateral is another crypto-currency, such as Litecoin (also written as LTC).  Coins must be moderately traded on multiple exchanges.
- Some digital wares such as domain names can be considered as long as the user cannot recover it.
- Small valuable items that can be shipped though the mail - i.e. gold, silver, iphones, etc.
- Large items, such as a motorcycle or guitar can be used if you live close to the person giving you the loan.  Try localbitcoins.com

What is not considered collateral?

- Items they want to sell.  They don't want it back, so they will default.  It's scammy unethical behavior and will lead to negative trust.  Check their recent posts!
- Items not in hand.  Don't trust a user that promises to give you something *when* they default!  Tracking numbers only show something has been mailed - it could be an empty box.
- Future income.  You can prove you'll make xx coins in the next few days, but nothing forces you to send those coins to pay your debt.
- Identification.  So what if they can prove who they are.  Are you going to spend more money and time taking them to court on untested legal grounds?  You'll probably just walk away, like everyone does.  ID is useless.
- Games codes or similar.  To verify the collateral you need to use the code, which destroys the collateral.  Consider this a purchase, not a loan.  (Post in Digital Goods instead)
- Most new alt-coins or alt-coins that trade for satoshis are not good collateral as they can become worthless overnight.
- Paypal should never be used - they are anti-bitcoin and will rule against you 100% of the time.  Escrow can't even help, as paypal charge backs can come over 6 months later!
- Most valuable online accounts can easily be recovered by social engineering (the user contacting support to say they were hacked, and regain control of the account)  Examples:  Steam

It really depends if you can find a lender here who is willing to accept the collateral that you are offering.
1487  Economy / Services / Re: Looking for someone to do ASCII art. on: August 11, 2016, 09:49:33 AM
As for ascii, jayce is provably your best choice. See his portfolio here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1142066.0
He's the only one I know here who does too well on ascii in his signature designs. If you are looking for quality design, contact him right away. Smiley

1489  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Panning to Invest in Genesis Mining, What You Say? on: August 11, 2016, 05:45:45 AM
Hi Guys,

I am complete noob in crypto mining and I realized that pc from my office is worthless for mining any coin. Now, I just did some research on cloud mining.

I saw positive as well as negative reviews about cloud mining, especially Genesis Mining. Though I would like to give a try.

What is your view? Should I go with Genesis Mining (if yes then which plans) or any other service? or stay away from it?

Thanks in Advance
Dudeperfect

Don't. Genesis mining may be a legitimate bcloudmining but it is no longer worth to invest in it. You will need a lot more inititial money to invest and it will surely take too much time for you to get profit.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is 1000 btc Possible on: August 10, 2016, 01:04:50 PM
Is it possible to earn 1000 or atleast 100 bitcoins with trading Altcoins. If I buy some bitcoin at cheaper rate today and it's price goes up in future?Which alt you think has potential to make me 1000 btc
It is possible but the time lenght will vary depending on how much is your initial investment to start trading altcoin. If you can spot a really nice coin with a potential it should be easy to gain profit in it.

1492  Other / Off-topic / Re: Make a Living Sports Betting? on: August 10, 2016, 04:30:07 AM
Hi!

I would like to know if it's possible to make a living betting in a sports e.g: a sports I manage and have knowledge about.

I have around 100k fiat in BTC to get as my bankroll.

What ROI can i expect yearly?
Any bankroll management tips?

Thanks
Gambling is not a good source of income. If you want to make a living go get a work. Do not view gambling as some kind of stable income. You may be good and have enoigh knowledge in sportsbetting but what if one day you mistakenl bet on the wrong team with all your money at stake? That will be a disaster. Get a job.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SPORTSBETTING : Not for everyone? on: August 09, 2016, 06:13:30 PM
Sportsbetting requires dedication. lol. I tried it before but never really had a good pick onmy own and won. I always relied on the tipsters around here in the forum. You need to be an avid sports fan so you can get the fun in this kind of gambling compared when you are playig dice which onl requires patients and some analizing skills.
1494  Economy / Gambling / Re: list mobile friendly btc dice sites on: August 09, 2016, 02:14:25 AM
Bitsler is best from the suggested sites. Please do you know the max profit per bet?
I don't know the max profit they offer but you can know more aboutthem in their bitcointalk thread here;
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1268718.0
1495  Economy / Gambling / Re: list mobile friendly btc dice sites on: August 08, 2016, 11:57:45 PM
Try Fastdice and bitsler. Bo are mobile friendly.
You already know most of the dice sites available so I can't add much.
Why do you need a lot of dice sites anyway?
1496  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: transaction not confirmed on: August 08, 2016, 03:38:30 PM
Are you using coins.ph wallet? Coins.ph seem to have some issue but I don't know if it as anything to do with the late confirmation, whih provably not since blokchain is the one responsible for that. I recenty sent a transaction also an fortunately it took only 7 hours to confirm. I don't know if there is some way to rebroadcast your transaction.
1497  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BUYING FULL MEMBER ACCOUNT - 0.0013 BTC BUDGET on: August 08, 2016, 03:33:58 PM

Good day xhomerx!
Today I am repaying my loan.   https://blockchain.info/tx/9565df3560f74720cf946860812a4a4388a77c84900ce4791e003d1a245f9c3c
Thank you. Smiley

I saw this last night but was waiting for it to confirm before I confirmed repayment.  Glad I didn't stay up until it happened!
Loan has been repaid in less than the 7 days promised.  Thanks!

It took longer to get confirmed. I'm not sure why as I sent it with my normal fee as what I always used. Anyway, thanks again. Smiley

locking the thread now.
