I am not here to judge if the story is unique or not, all I know from my own expreience is that people in Europe are losing faith in what they are. Crowncoin aims to be a European coin - it wants to remind them that once upon a time there were strong kings and their knights https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knight who used to protect the values that we have inherited from them - not only financial. We are coming to a cycle in history which we call "idea economy" where ideas are the makers of our future. We want to share this story and let everyone know that out there there are digital knights that will support the right ideas / values. History repeats itself - its just digital. Thatīs it - anybody can become a king and Crowncoin is the tool to achieve it...if you like the story support it if not - thatīs fine too Smiley

The unique thing about this coin is:

1. The story behind it - the best from Eropean history merged with the blockchain technology - this is a main difference from other coins including BTC - people need a real story to identify with! BTC don't have a story and normal people do not understand it
2. It is protected by several digital knights who will never give up
3. Time stamping, name feature and merged mining with BTC - and other features to come soon

In Crown we trust!

Is the story of history Incorporated into crowncoins blockchain in anyway? What's the connection?

Are all three of number 3 unique?

Thanks again

Hey guys,

I've bought myself a few coins and would like to buy some more... Can someone point me to who the devs are? Like a short introduction into the community and who manages it?

Thank you very much

Hi,

thanks for the support and good decision to buy some, because this is the last time you can buy some cheap coins. We are team of 7 people behind Crowncoin. Myself Iīm working with SatoshiLabs and TREZOR and this is my side project and Iīm working with Crowncoin guys to bring new ideas on the table and execute them . Crowncoin_knight and his partner are operating startup accelerator and his main focus is to leverage Crowncoin/Bitcoin technology within portfolio of startups their are working with.
Our last and one the most important partners is working on his own project which is some sort of social network which will incetivize its users with Crowncoin for using the network.

Also we are working closely with Domob https://github.com/domob1812/crowncoin/blob/timestamping/doc/timestamping.txt , who is our lead developer working with our dev to create new features.

We see Crowncoin as a long term project and not just some quick pump and dump scheme. Until now we were focused more on development rather than marketing the technology.

There is also one stealth project in development, which will help to decentralize Crowcoin/Bitcoin mining. I cannot disclose any more details now, but should take more than 2 months, when we will announce something what should increase wider interest about crowncoin/bitcoin technology.

If you see Crowncoin project interesting please feel free to share your feedback and ideas...

Thanks for the reply

Yes you have a nice team of devs, but can you point to anything unique about CRW?
783  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CrownCoin (CRW) announcement on: February 21, 2016, 03:43:17 PM
Sure, itīs just the beginning. Wink

Most importatly we need to market this coin among people and grow the community. This is the toughest part. Can you help here? Any ideas?

Other things we are working on:

1. Wallets with multisignature support - Android, iOS, Windows, OS X, Linux
2. Support for Trezor - store your Crowncoin private keys securely offline
3. Colored coins issuance on the Crowncoin network - Create any kind of asset on Crowncoin network

i think crowncoin looks really interesting.
its possible to hash datawith it in the blockchain nice one.
think not many look at this coin.
what are the next plans dev? coin still alive right?

Looks like people are bored & dumping - CRW is crashing hard on C-cex.......

Dev - if you want this coin to succeed, you need to generate some interest & build the community - get people involved.

Or is that you dumping?  Wink

Help us with the testing, updated wallets are here:

 https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3nXvvpZ_8WCX3JQdEpxT051ejQ/view?usp=sharing

We are going to introduce system to map names to CRW addresses (i. e., scripts). There is a scheduled softfork for this from block: 600000 . Please update your Crowncoin wallets and deamons to be able to use this feature. New builds will be ready for download from www.crowncoin.org on Monday.

What are the steps to register your name.

Launch your Bitcoin Wallet go to the help tab - debug window

Type this to the command line:

1.
getnewaddress
  -> mxqptH4hnXrsBms2eGhmLsMjZRwKRdTGZP
2.
  name_register my-cool-name mxqptH4hnXrsBms2eGhmLsMjZRwKRdTGZP
  -> (some txid)
3.
  setgenerate true 1
  name_getaddress my-cool-name
  -> mxqptH4hnXrsBms2eGhmLsMjZRwKRdTGZP

4.
  sendtoname my-cool-name 5
  -> (some txid)

You need to send some small fee to the Crowncoin network.

1-3 symbols - 500 CRW
3-15 - 250 CRW
15-30  - 100 CRW
30-50  - 50 CRW
50-100  - 25 CRW

*) Internally, this works by using OP_RETURN outputs for name claims /
registrations to store the relevant data.  This can be compared
technically a bit to how Counterparty and Mastercoin work.

*) The system will be first come, first serve.  I. e., everyone is free
to register any still unclaimed name, and the first to do so for any
name can set the corresponding CRW address.

*) Once registered, the mapping between name and address is fixed.  (It
is possible to implement an update in the future that allows owners to
change their names, but that is not part of the current plan.)

Having trouble finding the link for the wallet though anyone help?

its at the coins website. i cant link it because im on the phone but its on the op of this thread
791  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CrownCoin (CRW) announcement on: September 07, 2015, 02:20:06 PM
Still itīs strange. The 64 version works well.

UPDATE: I uninstalled the 64bit Win-QT wallet & decided to try the 32bit version instead - SUCCESS!.

So the problem is with the 64bit QT wallet only. I suggest the OP remove the link to the 64bit wallet download until someone (anyone?) has fixed & fully tested the wallet so as to save any potential Crowncoin users days of aggravation & frustration trying to get the 64bit wallet to work like I have  Angry

THE 64BIT WINDOZE-QT WALLET DOES NOT WORK - USE THE 32BIT VERSION INSTEAD!

Mining interest is slowly increasing!

Strange that I am not aware of that someone from our team told you that...

I dunno. im pretty sure crowncoin was the one that had a bounty going for it and when i asked to work on it was told i was under qualified. Not much time on my hands at the moment either.

Hi crowncoin_knight,

Good to see you here - did you hear back from the dev who emailed you? It's beyond my capabilities I'm afraid, but maybe if you offered a bounty of some kind?  Wink
