541  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin crash coming? on: May 06, 2017, 02:48:04 PM
Big crash - We can't possibly know.

Correction - Likely.
Yup the bitcoin connection is so slow from past month. I requested a payout of 20$ and it was even sent but coinbase rejected that payment for some reason and it is pending for 2 days. While when i sent a higher amount it was instantly sent. Using small amounts in bitcoin = impossible
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between Bitcoin and real money? on: May 06, 2017, 02:29:37 PM
Money is nothing more then something we have given value to and is small and easy to carry and use everywhere. You can trade money for anything you want since it has value. Bitcoin is the same since it also has value but usually Bitcoin is seem more as an asset like stocks. That's why the exchanges are basically digital stock markets.
Correct sir, in real money all people can able to used it even poor people they can while in bitcoin limited people can used it because not all people can afford gadgets to access bitcoin.
For now bitcoin is much better to invest than using real money because the value of bitcoin now is very high and it was continuous increasing, more investor now start to add some amount of money as bitcoin investment.
If you will look at the bigger picture, you will see that majority of the world's population are still poor and because of their status in life they will not be interested with the newest technology, their main purpose to live now is just to earn money to buy food at the very simple way that they know.
That's true, when one gets the basic requirement he/she focus towards the next level of growth. There are people who are struggling to find even a one time food. In such scenario technology aspects won't make them attracted to it, though it provides them some earning access.
That's sad but it is also true. There are more than 500 million people in world who are not aware of google itself so how can we expect them to adapt to digital payments or even be aware of bitcoin.

Yeah very few people prefer to go for cashless world as some of them are even scared of using credit cards for making purchases and we cannot expect them to start using bitcoins as they will always prefer to use fiat for their shopping purposes.
The thing is current situation of cashless economy is internet. Idk about your country but in my country a 500 mb data cost 5-10$ which is actually a lot. I do like the initiate samsung is trying to bring using samsung pay but unfortunately it doesn't work in every store.
543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitCoin 20 Years From Now on: May 06, 2017, 12:59:39 PM
I think bitcoin can't survive until 20 years from now, maximum maybe only 8 years again. The security and banned from the government is the main factor that make bitcoin can't survive for long term.
8 years is too less for a coin like bitcoin. I have a feeling the coin will last for the next 40 years. Mostly people will have sold all their coins so this gives the next generation to start again and make bitcoin reach 1000$ again. Even if government bans it nothing will have as it is impossible to trace bitcoin
544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins worth mining & investing? on: May 06, 2017, 07:33:19 AM
By the current status of altcoin you can say they are a good investment and in terms of mining is altcoins is the best option because bitcoin mining isn't profitable but altcoin mining is profitable. What you can do is mine any altcoin and convert to bitcoin.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Why have Bitcoin instead of cash? on: May 06, 2017, 07:24:17 AM
There are many reasons to have bitcoin instead of cash :
1. Bitcoin is a kindnof currency who's price keeps on changing  (mostly in a upward direction). So let's say you got 10$ yesterday there is a chance that it's value became 12$.
2. It has a anonymity feature so that you can buy stuffs privately without anyone knowing.
3. Many countries have started to adopt it so increase in price is possible.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What makes the bitcoin price stronger in the market? on: May 06, 2017, 04:14:45 AM
There are many factors that affect bitcoins price directly or indirectly:
1. As the currency is expanding in many countries this causes butcoin to be introduced to many new investors this leads to increase in market cap and thus increases the price.
2. A positive news for bitcoin , like let's say some exchange like western union announces that they are going to accept bitcoin because of this current investors will invest more as they are aware in future because of this introduction price will increase
547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: May 06, 2017, 02:22:08 AM
Not at all - i earn my income with it.
It depend on what kind of gambling you play and how to.
I was also like you and never felt insulted or shameful for my gambling habit until the last tuesday when my parents saw my internet history and found out that I am just a gambler and nothing else. I had told them that I am doing bitcoin's trading and a lot more stories while actually in reality I was just a gambler. I could not even look into their eyes man.
Are you using your parents money to gamble? are you underage? if none then why is it shameful? as long as you don't over do gambling/aren't addicted it's fine.
Actually i know so many people in my country who use their parents money to gamble saying they need it for school work. When i hear news like this i feel really sad seeing that this is what the current generation is going to be. I am happy to see all the new technology changes but some of them are just too disappointing.
548  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: May 05, 2017, 10:34:33 PM
Coinbase CEO believes bitcoin will replace dollar within 15 years.

Read the following news:
http://cointelegraph.com/news/114983/coinbase-ceo-bitcoin-will-replace-dollar-within-15-years

Do you think it will be true? Are you positive towards bitcoin's future status?

No it can't be. Dollar is very powerful and yet they will just let it? And in terms of legality and uses then dollar is on the upper hand. Bitcoin can be used like dolars but as we know Bitcoin has no concrete form which is one of the reasons why it cannot defeat dollars with many more reasons.

Absence of physical form does not matter. The dollar also has a digital form, but it does not lose popularity because of this. The reason is different. Bitcoin will not replace the dollar for the reason that the government will not allow it
That true even i wanted dollar to be kind of replaced with bitcoin but seeing the current conditions of it i feel it would just be a disaster as currently bitcoin is used around the world online by it's holders but if everyone in us starts using it the network would crash.
549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lost over 12 btcs gambling on dice on: May 05, 2017, 07:22:07 AM
If you really lost so much money in deposit that is totally your fault. If you were losing in starting you should have stopped right there so you would have had atleast 10 btc left now. Remember gambling never really doubles your money. It's really rare when something like that happens.

Exactly, I also told him, it is his fault because he has a big lose of 12 bitcoins. If he try to save his lose, but continuously he was playing that's why he has lost. He could stop after 2 or 3 bitcoins but not, also he was playing dice game, In dice, we can't use our strategy and skills, we are totally depend on luck.
That's the speciality of dice most of the sites claim they have probably fair mark and stuff. After we lose we all verify and it really does have that mark but when we gamble on dice site the only thing that matters is luck no matter how trust worthy site is. If we are losing are first few dice then we should stop to prevent further losses.
550  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most popular Altcoin? on: May 04, 2017, 09:39:36 PM
It totally depends on the current trend of investors and market. If you see 1 month ago dash was the popular one as it had a really good increase. Now we all can see that investors have shifted to ltc and eth so you can say in one way they are currently the popular ones, popular coins will not stay permanent they will keep changing.
551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: GAMBLING & TRADING on: May 04, 2017, 05:16:41 PM
Gambling and trading are 2 different things. If you have a basic idea of how the price increases and decreases of a coin then you can try trading and if you found it like your style then it's good. Gambling is for those people who believe in luck and don't want to analyse the stats, im other words gambling is for those people who are lazy.
552  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will LTC overtake XRP in market cap? on: May 04, 2017, 02:24:38 PM
the big question is will it overtake bitcoin.
Overtake bitcoin you fine that is most impossible thing we will actually see. Bitcoin has a market cap of some $30 bn and ltc didn't even reach a billion. For now i only think that eth is the right coin which has a chance to replace bitcoin.
553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as a source of income? on: May 04, 2017, 11:51:27 AM
I don't get it why would someone leave their jobs and spend their time on bitcoin. There is nothing there in bitcoin all a person has to do is save money he earns and invest in bitcoin and let it grow. Or you can spend some of your free time in trading then you can earn additional coins.
554  Economy / Economics / Re: how i start a bussines with BTC on: May 04, 2017, 10:22:53 AM
What do you exactly want to start you can't basically say you are going to start a business with bitcoin. And also i would suggest you that you start a business which has connection with bitcoin. If you are planning to start a international business like selling of electronics online it would be fine. If you plan to sell grocery stuffs in your country then best of luck.
555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: monero price prediction on: May 04, 2017, 05:24:43 AM
Actually it is possible for monero to reach very high price. It had a really good hype in the starting of the year but the price is now fluctuating between 18-24$. Maybe we should just hold our coins and wait for the big whales to pump the coin like how they did with dash , or in general just wait for it grow normally
556  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do you think Bitcoin will reach $1500? on: May 04, 2017, 02:42:03 AM
It is unlikely. I think it should be back to around 800 some time this year.
800$ i don't think we will see a price like that without any sort of interference. Because the price of bitcoin fell from 1200$-900$ because of china. And current price is 1300$ so to reach 800$ the price has to fall by 500$ while china attact could only reduce the price by 300$.
1300? You must be stuck in the past for we just nearly hit 1500 just now. There's no telling how much the price could fall due to China, but that's unlikely and the more likely thing is that we will continue on an upwards trend like we have been in for the last few months.
Yeah i know my bad because last time when i checked the price was 1329$ or something but suddenly it increased so much that i couldn't believe it. I have a feeling that china may be preparing for their next attack and as soon as bitcoin reaches 1500-1600$ some warning will be issued and because of that we will see a huge bump in price.

558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 03, 2017, 10:08:59 PM
Even though i'm not a huge ipl fan or even cricket fan in general i really loved the match between mumbai and gujarat lions the way gumrah had bowled was too good. I also liked the match when ben stroke made his first t20 100 and the way rps won the match. I feel bad for raina as his team plays really good in starting but they screw up in end.
559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: In what situation would Bitcoin die? on: May 03, 2017, 07:04:46 PM
There are many different situations and aspects for bitcpin to die. First one when all bitcoins are mined : Now we all know bitcoin has a supply limit so after all bitcoins are mined people will start selling their coins as price growth will be low and mostly by 2060 it will be over.
Other thing that can happen is countries banning the use of bitcoin or actually holding any coins or in online wallets.

i'm not sure with your statement, even though the whole bitcoin has been mined which estimated in the next 100 years not 50 or 40 years. miner would always needed to proccess the transaction , so it's not the reason bitcoin gonna die, things could make bitcoin die and disappear are when there's no interest in bitcoin due too high fee and too long confirmation proccess for example.
The last 2 issues are currently facing most of the users in the community. The fees has significantly increased and the time for confirmations is 2-4 hours or sometimes even more. It is really hard to say and think that people will actually lose interest in bitcoin specially when the price is at it's highest at the current state
560  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: May 03, 2017, 05:18:20 PM
Holding bitcoin a long time is a good way to make money, hold it 2 to 3years after that for sure you had already a big saving in your storage wallet. It will surely that bitcoin by that time would be 3000$ to 5000$. Just be patience while waiting for the right time Wink

Wow, that is a nice prediction, let's see if it will really happen, would be very good! It's impossible to know with 100% sure something about Bitcoin, but if the last 2 years results could be applied for the next 2 years, we could see Bitcoin pricing about $2600-$3000 in 2019. I think $5000 is a bit exaggerated, a bit lower than that is very possible...
Actually if you see there is nothing impossible in bitcoin maybe we can see the price at 1$ tomorrow or even 2000$. I now feel bitcoin is just like life anything can happen next and that change can make lot of difference in our lives.

I strongly agree that tomorrow the price can be $2000 but never $1. $2000 can be achieved when a huge whale invested millions/billions of dollars in bitcoins. That price is doable for sure, we might even surpass that if we had enough whales. On the other hand, $1 per BTC is kind of far from reality. People have invested tons of money in the bitcoin wallet. I belong to the people that don't have that much cash and have the majority of wealth on bitcoin. I wouldn't just sell my bitcoins even when the price is dumping quite hard.

Plus, there are people that are ready to put a buy order wall to prevent the price from dumping even more. In other words, preventing their investments to go to waste.
I agree it is actually impossible for bitcoin to fall till 1$ if that actually happened i will sell everything i have and go all in bitcoins. The price can't reach 2000$ that easily because many whales have already invested according to their potential so the only way the price can increase is by more countries like japan adopting the coin.
