In my opinion the only people who should be gambling for a living are professional poker players!

You can easily take your wallet.dat file and save it on a USB somewhere and then delete it from your computer

I think most companies avoid selling via CC because of the high percentage of chargebacks?

Definitely not wrong in my opinion!
Everyone is allowed to do whatever they want with their money, including gamble.
The problem arises when people can't control their gambling and start gambling away their family's future.
It's exactly like alcohol. Nothing wrong with it as long as it's done in moderation and good fun!

Escrow is used in tons of non-bitcoin related online transactions such as buying websites or domain names.
There is no reason for it not to be used for btc!

I agree with most people that going long BTC is probably your best bet right now!
However do diversify and don't put all your eggs in 1 basket! So maybe look at a small portfolio of stocks and bonds as well?

Usually 1 is enough but in the case of confirmations, the more the better!

And just like in the stock market, when a company releases bad news, or when the price starts to decline, people sell and try to cut their losses!
