101  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Divorce: A Match Made in Heaven? on: April 11, 2016, 09:15:49 PM
You can do the same using paper money. Hiding money from your spouse can also be in gold, paintings, boats, or anything else that has value. Using bitcoin is only a new method to do the same thing.

This is true. And bitcoin is definitely a new tool in hiding money from someone including your spouse
102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If you were rich, would you still gamble? on: April 11, 2016, 09:14:30 PM
Rich people are among the biggest gamblers!
Gambling is not a poor vs. rich thing, it's a personality thing.

107  Economy / Economics / Re: What would happen when 21 million bitcoins come into existence? on: December 12, 2015, 04:46:20 PM
Good question!
Personally I don't think that too much will change.

If the hashrate drops significantly, that might have a negative effect on the price.
But if we can't get any more btc by mining, that might have a positive effect on the price.

Will be interesting to see when the time comes!
108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to stay away from gambling? suggestions ? on: December 08, 2015, 06:17:03 PM
A lot of great advice in here!

But you need to find another hobby that will take up the time that you used to spend gambling
109  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How do Faucets work? on: November 09, 2015, 06:55:49 PM
Thanks for all the info guys!

1 last question CryptoUser25: you can get paid for running captcha on your site?
110  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's Be Honest. We Are Waiting for $100/BTC to buy on: November 09, 2015, 04:19:41 AM
That's what we call a "support level" in the markets!
111  Economy / Economics / Re: Shall I hold or invest with %12.5 premium per year ? on: November 09, 2015, 04:18:58 AM
I would do just about anything for 12.5% a year! Seems too good to be true
112  Economy / Economics / Re: I just made my 4th BTC on: November 09, 2015, 04:18:13 AM
Congrats!

If it took you a lot of time and effort to make, do NOT gamble it away Smiley
113  Economy / Economics / Re: Flash crash? on: November 09, 2015, 04:17:29 AM
Expect volatility! Any time there is a big swing in prices (either down, or in this case, up), there are flash crashes, adjustments, corrections, and whatever else you want to call them Smiley
114  Economy / Economics / Re: Thousands of expat Americans renouncing citizenship to avoid new tax laws on: November 09, 2015, 04:16:33 AM
I think the US is the only country (or one of the only countries) that makes you pay taxes even as a NON RESIDENT.
I know of people that have lived abroad for decades and still have to pay some form of tax to the US government. Absolutely ridiculous!
115  Economy / Economics / Re: Why gold price going down? on: November 09, 2015, 04:15:31 AM
Gold has very limited uses (computers, jewelry, etc), but combining the demand for all these uses prices gold at only a fraction of what it is today.
People are realizing more that you can buy much more useful assets that can actually give you something in exchange for parking your money, such as a Tbill, farm land, art, etc...

Never keep more than you can afford to lose in 1 place!
119  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: How do Faucets work? on: November 09, 2015, 04:04:41 AM
Ok so I'm guessing that the faucet randomly picks a user to give free BTC to every X minutes, and then that user gets an email notifying them of the free deposit?

Hi everyone,

We have been requested a few times to include a Faucet on our website, but I'm embarrassed to say that I am not sure what it is or how it works.
I tried doing a search on the forum but all I got was people talking about getting BTC for free.

Can someone please explain to me how it works?

Thank you in advance!

i assume you run a gambling site when i saw your signature, it probably means that "faucet" is giving out free bitcoins to test the games on your site atleast every 5 mins or so

Really don't think that ISIS is part of any secret society with the Americans!
