ohw so it only works with -r and not as 1prefix

325  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Vanitygen: Vanity bitcoin address generator/miner [v0.22] on: October 22, 2015, 11:38:07 AM
ok why if I put this command in:

oclvanitygen.exe -k -p 1  1-[-_][-_][-_][-_][-_]-[-_]- wherein a - is an uppercase and a _ is a lowercase character (example 1A[Aa][Aa][Aa][Aa][Aa]A[Aa]A)

I get the response:

Invalid character '[' in prefix?

326  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: STOP GETTING SCAMMED -- READ (NEW SCAMS) Robitbot, Coinbooster, Raisebits NEWS on: October 22, 2015, 08:26:05 AM
Well actually everything in here is a scam sooner or later. and lots won't listen to this so just let them throw their money away and they will soon learn the lesson. (I expect to see the admin of those three sites here)

I and I am sure others would rather invest in new ideas than previous scams
Raisebit is the same as enlarger ok just different design same structure
Why would you invest if you know it's a scam?

You are wrong. EnlargerOK and Robitbot made professional web-developer, but Raisebits made a newbie, using a primitive template of site. Look at details site more, and you can easily see a significant difference. I do not think that Raisebits can be able to work as long as the EnlargerOK or Robitbot, for 2-3 months. Most likely RaiseBits will be a fast scam (maximum 1-2 weeks, or even less). Only professionals can working 2-3 months or more.

so if it takes 20 days to get paid, and you invest 0.05btc on the first day, then why would you invest?
sorry something isn't adding up...you usually bust many scams here, but now you support these obvious scammers, something is wrong.

You're right. Most likely this site will not be a long work and i already lost my deposit, because here is another admin.
I think you are avoiding my question...You are very smart with HYIPs and when newbies come on this forum with 'primitive template' or are new admin, you don't deposit, you spam with "scam" images...
but with this site, you act differently..you invest 0.05BTC one of the first investors, and you do not question their 'primitive template' or that they are new?

That is both obvious and completely logical. Vasilich always shows proof of payments and avoids negativity in projects where he has his dough in. This lures more people in so he can make sure he gets his coin back. By placing "scam" in other threads he withholds people willing to play to invest in those projects and hopefully they will go to another project where he is in. That is the right way to do for an HYIPster imo.

But on topic. It is a gamble to join HYIPs they will all fail sooner or later but if you play your cards right it can be profitable. With EnlargerOK I was late to the party but it was still profitable. Even Platinum-fund was greatly profitable for me. Robitbot I didn't try because my calculation showed me I needed to play 59 days to play risk free and it just has stopped on the 58 day I think. It is all about risk-reward evaluation. But then again I see it as games not investments.
327  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: transaction not accepted on: October 22, 2015, 08:08:06 AM
Here's a work around that you should be able to use until we release a fix:

When creating a transaction check the box for "create unsigned transaction" and click continue. Export the transaction, then import it and sign it. If you use cold storage you are already doing these steps.

Then instead of broadcasting the transaction, click the link labeled "For more information about this transaction". That opens up a Transaction Info dialog. At the bottom, click the "Copy raw TX (hex)" button.

Paste the raw transaction to https://blockchain.info/pushtx  and click submit transaction.

Basically blockchain has already made the necessary fix to guarantee that the "Low S" is used, and applies it to raw transactions.

You don't need to export it. In expert mode:
- create unsigned tx
- copy to clipboard
- continue
- paste
- sign
- copy raw tx (the button is just there in expert mode so no need to open additional info)
- submit

Yes the malleability is so bad this month that I basically took a break from betting on Binary options because it causes alot of losers.

Too bad you can't have an account on SecondsTrade so you don't have to send BTC transactions for each bet.

i think that you misunderstand about  malleability transaction on our site.
the malleability transaction is not a problem on our site , because payout of our site  have been paid after one confirmation.

in this case of the malleability transaction, one of both will be real transaction and the other will be fake transaction.

first, as soon as both transaction are  deposited to the our wallet, the betting will be started and the result will also be shown there.
but fake transaction does not mean win or lose, because the rake transaction will not be confirmed.
only real transaction will be become mean.

thank you.

I understand it is not caused by your site nor do I claim it is.
How your site works is pretty clear and straightforward.

It just sucks that the only variable we as players can have influence on "the timing" is taken away by this outside issue.... the malleability.
If like in my example I want to bet on a 5 seconds game I want it logically to start when I broadcast the tx.

It works both ways I know that a "lost" bet can be a "winner" due to malleability too. The unconfirmed tx is the fake one and the confirmed one is the real one. But as a player/better of timing games you will always see your intended tx on the intended time as the real one.

It is not something you or I can change but that extra variable makes it hard to place bets based on timing that's all. And when you place a bet and you see a great win (x3.53 in this case) and you wait for half an hour on confirmation only to discover after that the tx changed it just sucks.

I'll be back when the malleability doesn't change so many transactions   Wink

Is that the reason why some of the bets show "winning" on your webpage and are "losing" when you check the tx?

nvm it is the malleability that screwed my winnings once again....

This tx:
https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/5758743e068c71919b3fb91f058bedb7b6223ecfa878bb20e05ba033667d1446

has the the date and time of this winning:

As shown here:
http://secondstrade.com/tx.jsp?tx=5758743e068c71919b3fb91f058bedb7b6223ecfa878bb20e05ba033667d1446

But when it was put in the first block that was available it was changed into:

https://tradeblock.com/bitcoin/tx/78a17ba231ce3dd55759f5b4e5732bfed519b22546bc5f3b28738a0c2792db47

which is a loss of course as shown here:
http://secondstrade.com/tx.jsp?tx=78a17ba231ce3dd55759f5b4e5732bfed519b22546bc5f3b28738a0c2792db47

On those tradeblock pages you can see both tx are conflicting with each other and only the losing one got confirmed, however this link http://secondstrade.com/tx.jsp?tx=5758743e068c71919b3fb91f058bedb7b6223ecfa878bb20e05ba033667d1446 shows I made the transaction as displayed on site.

So for now until malleability has been solved it has no use for me to play with your site as I have no control on actually when I place the bet. And it kinda sucks when placing a bet and winning and due to outside forces getting overruled and lose.

333  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: transaction not accepted on: October 21, 2015, 09:12:43 AM
I have the same issue... but only with some of the transactions I make. I made no changes in paths or whatever and the problem continues after updating Bitcoin Core from v11.0 to v11.1. It has nothing to do with the address I send to or from or the amount send because sometimes it works sometimes it don't  Roll Eyes

@CircusPeanut I had the issue before updating to v11.1 so I don't think it is caused by v11.1

To work around this problem when I really need to send asap I make an offline tx - sign it- copy the raw hex - and broadcast it on https://blockchain.info/pushtx it gets broadcasted but 90% the tx changes because of a conflicting tx.

So another question...

is it possible to run the oclvanitygen and stop and safe it and later continue?

Or are -f -o -s only for the actual found addresses?
