......................

By the way what is Peter Todd rambling about?? Increasing the btc supply??

Any link to it?
Its stuff like this i'm glad alternative like bch exist. Or another fork incoming the limited edition and the unlimited one.
One thing you dont do is change rules midway through game. Dont fix something not broken.

Well, at least somebody is trying to hold "The bottom" up... . (Mic post some good pic)  Cheesy Wink

.................

we need a button observer thread!

No we dont, that fetish is all yours. A "high" thread on the other hand is worthy some consideration.
103  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: June 20, 2018, 05:03:22 PM
bitcoin and ethereum are equally potential for investment, I believe that there is no difference what to keep better, they are both the same
New to me, Bitcoins supply halves every 4 years the same is not the case with most altcoins. As it stands, at this time Ethereum has still unlimited supply and originally it was sold to be maximum 92 million, now over 100 million and not end in sight, just promises like before.
Lets talk about "both the same" on halving day. Now about 1925 new BTC mined a day and sold after next halving less than 1k available to buy. 4 years later less than 500.

earth is round like an ostrich egg
Shit now your confusing, i thought this was real

and now you claim it is an ostrich egg

105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: June 20, 2018, 02:17:39 PM
Its not high at all if you consider the limited supply and deflation aspect. Wait next 3 halvings and you will see some height.
106  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: June 20, 2018, 01:30:09 PM
1035 miles  per hour (1666 km/h) rotation of Planet Earth, plus
66600 miles per hour (107182 km/h) motion around the Sun, plus
483000 miles per hour (777313 km/h) motion around the Milky Way and the milky way going around the greater Attractor at
1400000 miles per hour (2253081 km/h),

damn that must be some crazy carousel ride.
Now how do you cross over at the end of all this from the spinning, swirling, turning, twisting  to the stationary?

so much face palm so little time
Funny you found time to post with so little time
108  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 19, 2018, 06:56:06 AM
Just realized that Bitcoin's hash rate is up +100% since January 2018 and around +25% since May as well as +15% from two weeks ago.

In relation  % grow to other coins.
109  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: in 2020 wich one will be higher bitcoin or ethereum ? on: June 18, 2018, 06:18:54 AM
in your opinion which one has the chances to go high by 2020 .........

1. ethereum

2. bitcoin

Nothing will change, the ethereum will remain the main competitor of bitcoin and will grow proportionately in price like bitcoin. More interesting is what coins will disappear by this time.
Ahh,  really?
So  in 2020 wenn Bitcoins supply halves again and half as many new bitcoins can be sold and same amount of ethereums, twice as many ethereum buyers pop up so nothing will change. And that will happen because you personally will take care of it, or how?
110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or ETH for long term on: June 17, 2018, 06:33:30 PM
For some it really would be better if they stop thinking immediately and utilize some of the gray matter.

Altcoins BETTER than BITCOIN?
Metals BETTER than GOLD?

No, no such thing.
In regards to price once you understand emission rate you wont ask silly future price questions again.

Never has been never will be an investment, some have been from time to time a very good successful gamble.

Its not, you have not seen high watch what comes. Get the hang of  deflation vs inflation.
114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: in 2020 wich one will be higher bitcoin or ethereum ? on: June 17, 2018, 12:31:24 PM
It's just amazing how many people are totally ignorant to coin supply and emission. For long term it's one of the most fundamental aspects to take into account.
115  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin on: June 17, 2018, 09:56:58 AM
All time price chart with halving marks, Next halving takes Bitcoin to about 1,6% emission rate and Litecoin to ~3.3%, always 1007 days behind Bitcoin
116  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: June 15, 2018, 04:38:14 PM
I do not think so. You are not late, the party is just beginning. Maybe you are late to buy Bitcoin. But now there are many new coins that are just beginning to develop and become popular. Just keep an eye on them and make an investment in the most promising coins. Smiley Smiley
Thats where most go wrong thinking there late to buy bitcoin so lets jump on xyz coin instead.
Late is late, period.
Ask anywone how it worked out jumping on a non halving coin in ten years time. You will see a lot of long faces because they failed to understand the system at hand and inflation and deflation.
117  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 13, 2018, 09:05:40 PM
I don't care
I hold

Fuck ‘m, I’ll buy more below $5,000.

why not now?? long term whats the diffrence 1k a coin ?? if its not to make a quick buck then i don't see any diffrence with the oppertunity to buy right now..... its a nice DIP not ??

Very nice dip      No it its awful

buy a little as it goes down   Buy as much as you feel comfortable without over extending.

easier to go up now than down      Yes

couple of major events that will hit the price coming up, negative or positive who knows

IG report US 14th June

11th of November (Control of the government USA)

Any changes in bank laws

Some major event which is unavoidable at this time, and only a matter of time is the fact that Deutsche Bank will go belly up.
Its the kind of bank which makes the Lehman Brothers collapse a walk in the park.
This is the kind of scenario which will force banks and governments take your money in banks.

118  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 13, 2018, 04:03:01 PM
Just think about the WinkleVii's or Tim Draper's cold wallet and you'll feel a whole lot better.  Wink
I tried. But it doesn't help. Still having more money than you could probably spend (as such whales do) is not that terrible even if your net worth gets a cut of several hundred millions. Maybe I am wrong, but I don't think they are as much depressed as I am right now.

Let's try to examine this from another perspective.

Are you still an "accidental multi-millionaire" because of your BTC holdings ?

If Yes, adjust belt-buckle, make sure testicles are comfortable, and chill out for a while.

If No, try to see the bigger picture. 21 Million is a finite number that cannot be changed. Please try to remain patient. HODL on.
It requires determination, skill and technical knowledge to become bitcoin wealthy and not an accident.
Accidentally you my end up with a winning lottery ticket you bought in a drunken delirium stage.

Can someone make this stop :-/
This should do. Tomorrow traffic is diverted.
120  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: June 13, 2018, 07:22:49 AM
Hashrate can not be significant increased with old machinery. New equipment is expensive and miners must be confided to make nice profit in times to come.
