I like Monero long term, I think that will be much more visible soon. I like Ark and they are networking and trying to build, action takers. Waves, I will throw a random Small Cap - WeTrust. Looks very interesting and there is some potential. Shift is another Small Cap. Here is another random crazy low cap coin I like - StealthCoin. Very very cheap. High risk, but interesting.
NEO is probably going get back in the game soon so now is a good time to jump in or if it dumps some more. You really cannot go wrong with the top 20. EOS should also be moving forward next year.
Stealthcoin! I try to convince myself to buy some all the time, you really think it's worth it?

Please, does anyone actually read anything I am posting? I am looking for an actual website to purchase these coins for US currency. Please let me know any sites that are trust worthy.
Easiest way, spend fiat on BTC/ETH/LTC on coinbase, transfer to the exchange of your choice, go wild.

I think you will be troubled by the many options. but I want a little story what I invest, I invest for waves and iota. I am sure for a long time, will be at the pump
IOTA is a great choice. Super fast transactions and low fees. Seriously, Tangle is the most exciting development in cryptocurrency in a long time.

LISK will continue to rise as more people learn about the upcoming SDK release later this year. Better to get some now before the next major jump. If you missed the neo boat, then don't miss the one from lisk!
I'm banking on this too. I don't see it being the next NEO, but I would bet it does pretty well by the end of the year.

Waves and OMG. They are both still cheap and are both great coins. As far as ICOs, I like Viberate and Aventus, but Remember, every ICO is a huge risk, so don't take my word for it.

Utile, grazie mille!

Grazie

I try to save some small amounts of bitcoins mainly because I hope for the price to rise in the future, however often I don't resist and spend some of them to buy videogames or to have fun in some other way Sometimes I also donate some of them to charity or to support projects that I like.

I think that yes, everybody could use the Bitcoin as a currency for their transactions, but just the ones who are interested in technology and in informatics could understand in depth how it works. Exactly like how just the ones who know a little about economics can understand in depth the work of "normal" fiat money.

In my opinion it is not. Well, it is a big part of the future of internet payments and I think more and more people will start using it but I also think that in the future money is still going to be controlled by governments and central banks. The thing that Bitcoin doesn't have is stability.
|
|
|
I think it's also a little based on the culture of the place where you live. For example here in Italy "tipping" isn't a part of the colture and we don't do it... when we eat in restaurants we pay the "coperto" (usually an euro or two) for the service of the waiters and you can't choose, you have to do it.
If I had to sell something I'd rather put it at a very low price than rely on tipping.

I think that actually the best ways to make some bitcoin online is to get enrolled in a signature campaign or to "sell" your skills. If you know more that a language you could do some translations, if you are fast at typing you could solve some captchas and get paid or if you are good at weiting about something you could write articles for some website.

Well, I have to admit that the hope for the price going up is really strong in me, but in my opinion the Bitcoin is a great project, and I think that I would continue to use it even if the price was stable. Moreover 860€ is a very good price, so why not

I'm always happy when I see things like this! I remember that some months ago here in Italy we had a documentary on the national TV that in part talked about the bitcoin, I was super excited! Anything that spreads knowledge about the "cryptocurrency world" is well accepted.

In my opinion the whole point of the Bitcoin system is to "be the bank of myself". This would make no sense opening a bitcoin account at a bank so no, I wouldn't do it Also this I also have a small number of bitcoins and thus I feel more confortable privately owning them.
|
|
|
If you know really well more than a language you could look for some job as translator. You could translate the posts in the "Announcements (Altcoins)" section for small amounts of that altcoin if they offer a bounty. If you can type fast you could also "solve" some captchas for getting paid, i think that there is some website for solving captchas that pays in bitcoins.

You should choose bitcoin, but not invest all of you money in it. The risk of the price of Bitcoin going down really hard is very low, but it still exist. I would go 67% fiat (maybe a low risk investment in a bank) and 33% bitcoins.
|
|
|
When I look for a good altcoin I search primarily for these things: fast transactions (or at least not too slow), presence on a good number of exchange sites, anonimity or some other particular features such as supporting the ecosystem or donating to charity or a particular way to get the altcoin besides Proof of Work and Proof of Stake.

I have one here in Florence! I always wanted to try it but it's quite far from my house and I never had the time

I don't know what's the average hourly payment in your country, but I think that by having a simple part-time job and by buying bitcoins with some of your earnings making a bitcoin every two months would be quite simple.
