every people have different opinion about bitcoin goal. they will say to be a great investment, or payment method, or the other extreme thing. we judge by habit, by what we do to bitcoin until now.
big adoption is main decision for me, to spread what the basic want, and people clear and use crypto for daily life. but, hard to tell to everyone, my experience just tell this to close or family.

actually, you have eth, where still store in your wallet, or you already sell it?
investment is something that have value, and will always grow bigger than before. if that price down, just ignore it because your last line is not there. wait longer is better and you can do the other thing. and there is no too late on investing, problem just the price is bigger, when you late to start, you can do it later with scary price, but still profitable

i dont know why people still compare between one and the other coin, we know if each coin have positive thing. trader and investor never make argument about why this coin like this, or those coin like that, the important thing is where they can gain much profit. The comparison of the value of etherum and bitcoin is very far, the price of one BTC is $ 45,975 and one Etherum is $ 3,152 (15 August 2021, 16:53:00). Etherum is far behind BTC, although Etherum’s current popularity is great, unfortunately Etherum still can’t be the first in the market. what do you think?
@op, I understand that it's been like months since this post was made, but I believe it's still relevant to ask if there was anyone comparing Ethereum to bitcoin which prompted you to make this post? What I want to say is that, aside bitcoin and Ethereum being both crypto coins, they both have no path with each and shouldn't be compared, Infact, it is a big mistake to compare Ethereum to bitcoin, they don't belong to the same realm in crypto, compare Ethereum to binance smart chain, compare it to Solana, compare it to fusion protocol, compare it to polygon, compare it to avalanche, but never compare Ethereum to bitcoin because they are both in different world of crypto currencies. You are right, But I wanna add something. Not only Ethereum, I can't see any single coin which one is comparable to Bitcoin. We can't compare any altcoin to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a unique coin, And its value does not depend on any other coin. Rather the price of the whole altcoin increases or decreases depending on the Bitcoin. Bitcoin should be given the status of a standalone coin, while the global economic backbone is crumbling at the death touch of the covid, the boom in the Bitcoin market has given the motivation to foodless, workless people to survive, It is just unbeatable. funny thing, bitcoin is bitcoin, ethereum is altcoin, and also for the other coin is altcoin. |

i dont think so, bank always be stand even though there is a crypto or not. but, if people will start to open mind and make a decision to choice this one, that called die too.
people will following what technology do, slowly but sure people know more that crypto is useful, and big chance to use it as their money or whatever it is.

sometime, people said that bitcoin is trusted, and the other will say that is scam because of their bad experience.
people who already know, will trust and many of them store their money (after get paid) to this world. trust emerges because something happen, and maybe twice or more. and trustful come from after making profit.
at first time, im just trying to get in as deep, although its not deep as now, after few year, i know that i have to swim more and more. trust level increase as time goes by.

im not sure but, bitcoin and women are different thing. i mean, if you want to invest, just come in. and now, many of them learn and being part of bitcoin, not only trader, but also cover all aspect. i admit it, if men is great than women, and i admit that women can be more powerful than men. sometimes, women can see a hole from what men doing. if you want to do something, you need back up from women to make it great.

Only those who are new in crypto are worried about the dumps. The people who are in crypto for few years know that these dumps are not permanent. For the newbies, there is no need to worry about the Bitcoin price dump. Sooner and later this dump will be over and bitcoin will reach new highs. the base is this is investment, gold has decreased in price, also the other investment. bitcoin is like stock, they can drop anytime, in just second. what we afraid is, how many bitcoin do we have? store as much as possible is good than just panic about dump and pump. |

If just introducing it is difficult and easy to leave, it's better to make newbies think that with bitcoin investment our money can increase hundreds of percent in a year or even less, I'm sure in a simple way like that newbies are more interested than technical things about bitcoin.
agree. my experience, easier when you teach someone about bitcoin, and tell about anything inside with the mone in the end. younger attract to fill their wallet than information, at first. as time go by, they forced to know what crypto is, the main function, and the other thing. this will be hard if you tell to older, they wont attract on money like younger, they just collect that information, than be the main hangout talks, or family time. |

as long as you are rich, you can come to crypto anytime. the problem for us is, we dont have much money, and start to collect from the other source before. lucky for knowing this earlier, and lucky for rich people that already lift this thing whatever the price.

that is stealing. when the first i know about it, like people dont have any real wealth. because if world experiencing a shock and no paper money, they will use power to take everything.
for me, in the end, use btc to buy gold is good than just change to fiat. no problem as long as that is useful for life, but i need something more than it. and as time goes by, people will lead to technology without forgetting old stuff

holder will win if 10% mined. i mean, bitcoin be good field now, people still find to get it as much as they can. and when the last piece of bitcoin mined, this no other bitcoin to be mine. holder have big advantage than other, and become something big bomb to crypto user. We are wondering what will happen to bitcoin if its all done, i mean totally mined..?perhape it just circulating wherein those mined will not be lost wherein it will keep floating in the space and still working how the way it works, especially those lost wallet and satoshi wallet that becomes so popular in the internet because of the amount of it, so perhaps for that reason bitcoin will not last. Just saying.  We probably won't be alive to see that, mining difficulty rises as times goes by, with more and more blocks being mined. Definitely, the supply of BTC is limited and has been severely impacted, with millions of coins being lost on the blockchain forever. Thus, the available coins are way fewer than the 19 million, currently in circulation. I bet that in a few years, for that same reason, the price will skyrocket, becoming the price will be fantastic if they mine all btc, news will lively, people exited about what is the next move. |

Sorry but hodlers who buy with dca method are the winners in this game.
Dollar cost average is by far one of the best methods many dont like it as they dont have patience.
We the people want to see results always too fast if not we not interested only few the handful can really do the buy the dips combined mixed with dca style buying.
Hodler and short-time traders both are benefited for their own purposes. Hodler invested money for the long term cause they have other income sources, they are able to manage their monthly expenses by doing other jobs. so they are able to invest for the long term and get benefits. On the other hand, short-time traders are taking trading their main job, they do trading to manage their monthly expenses. They invest money for short time, take ROI and use that ROI to live their livelihood or use that ROI to invest in a new project. So they are also benefited. agree, they have different method and task to be completed. holder just stay calm with their coin, wait until their the price reach what they want. trader cant be calm like holder, they always monitoring every coin move, like 'where i can take my profit'. they all have different value, and method. |

Selling doesn’t translate to weakness. Bitcoin is for whatever suits your own. Not everybody entered the game to hodl.
I think we all agree that bitcoin is not just for hodlers, but it is the best for them next to Ethereum of course, others everyone has doubts on, they could crash at anytime, and bitcoin seems to be the coin that shows where the market is headed, if bitcoin drops others will drop too but not the opposite, so obviously there are other use cases to bitcoin other than just holding. agree, there are trader job, to gain massive income when the price fall or rise. and many people cashing bitcoin for daily need or whatever they want. but, some people there still hold bitcoin for long time, maybe when they use trading method, they will get more than just holding, but they still hold. |

This forum will be the first medium to know about bitcoin wherein your friend can interact on do's and don'ts regarding about bitcoin. Youtube is also the best for it hence it has more videos about it and you can also explain to him directly that will certainly make him more interested about bitcoin.
Personally I referred them to search online especially watching some youtube videos just to grasp some knowledge and idea of bitcoin, thereafter I practicalized it by opening a new blockchain wallet using an android mobile phone, I did explained to them how to receive bitcoin in to the wallet respectively and show them where to copy their BTC address for transactions, I also show them how to send bitcoin to another person, this are some basic knowledge required by a newbie which I believe is very important. for me, tell about this site is better than you just go online by yourself, asked by friend to do something alone is hard. because, from this site, you know not only bitcoin, and when you get paid, you forced to use wallet, checking transfer about that information, and other thing. you play a game, and learn the other that relate directly. |

i am not good thinker, but i have little coin, from meme coin to good coin. i just collect from bounty, and the fact is, that price still cheap and wait for good deal.
every the end of year, i and people expect about the price. always monitoring year to year, and stand by when the price is good.
afraid when to buy altcoin if it not famous as eth or the other, because i need to rotate fund with the other thing
