Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS is next Ethereum

As we move deeper into the bear abyss or at best reached it's bottom, I'd like to revisit my post from March as I cling to some hope: I have been slowly accumulating EOS because I think it has the potential to become a monster. Their ICO structure was heavily criticised for being too long with an unlimited stream of new money. But this money provides EOS with the ability to hire the best developers and partner with many influencers in the blockchain space. Read this article for some really good insight: https://medium.com/@toddwelker/why-eos-may-be-the-best-investment-opportunity-of-our-lifetime-that-you-havent-already-missed-632be217151aQuote: "They’ve already hired Richard Jung, former CEO of Bithump and a former senior executive at Alibaba to lead development in Korea. They’ve partnered with Mike Novogratz and Eric Schmidt to invest in promising DApps and ventures and bring them, exclusively, to the EOS platform. They’ve also, through Galaxy, invested $30 million in Everipedia. All this, and the EOS platform has not even launched yet. Think about what will happen when the platform launches in June and does everything they said it was going to do. It’s going to be explosive growth and announcement after announcement, after announcement."

together we will save yourchain Here is the new discord group everyone should join! - fork YOURCHAIN 2.0 https://discord.gg/WkhNZ79Welcome to Yourchain 2.0 This is a fork of the original Yourchain.
The old yourchain was going very badly and developers want to try to make something better. Owner of the project (Captain) never showed up anymore people lost trust...
But because you cant really fork an eth token so developers had this idea Send your eth addres and they look how much tokens where on there before 27-4-2018. Developers will send the yourchain 2.0 tokens to the same addressWhile I'm sure most here appreciate your novel gesture to save Yourchain, the most important aspect of the project was it's innovative code-base. Besides airdropping ERC20 tokens how can you fork a non-existing chain? It was never made open source as far as I remember.

We're coming up on the one year anniversary of the start of this thread in a few days - hope the Dev comes back with some positive news soon.
I hope so, my fellow onioneer. I remember DE's very first post almost a year ago. As a former Synereo (AMP) investor I had big hopes DE will save the original vision and rectify Greg's betrayal. However, this project took a completely new direction since. What's funnier is that Greg Meredith's Rchain looks like it's prospering when you look at the Coinmarketcap website. I don't like that it's becoming a joke on us, Yourchain hopefuls. So true. A sad fact is that I dared to consider at some very dark moments to invest a little in Rchain. Thankfully my trading principals will not permit me to succumb into fomo.

It's so hard to tell how much of the price movement is organic vs massive manipulation. Let's hope that the logical speculation that there will be a massive inflow of institutional money will come true very soon. Once "they" have managed to drop the price to their optimised entry the flood gates will open!

The last time it also took several weeks to appear, he must be working hard so let's give him time.
Still nothing? Oh well, I don't think Yourchain price can't get any cheaper, especially with a bear market right now. Usually devs pop up when the good times are roling. I remember in the previous bear season thinking that prices can't get any cheaper just to witness a few more painful months of non-stop bleeding.

is this a substitute for etherdelta? and this site is owned by one person? is it safe to trade here? https://forkdelta.github.io/#!/trade/0xba54621876dfca50d15705201a5c3b12949b2a79-ETH It is only safe if you don't import or upload your private keys. Use a wallet like Metamask which only shares signed messages. You could also try https://idex.market/ It has more volume. Watch out everyone, we are living in dark scammy times, keep your mind on your money and your money on your mind as snoop dogg says, or keep your mind on your riches as 2pac says, its a dirty game y'all!!! Wise words! But here's another famous snoop dogg quote: "Sometimes a loss is the best thing that can happen. It teaches you what you should have done next time.".

We stated before and I'll emphasize it now that we have funds secured. More, while we may have an ICO just to popularize the idea (I have ambigous feelings with respect to ICOs at all), the moment we'll start any funds collection will be after a functional prototype and WP gets published. Not before. I hope it's clear and I won't have to repeat it in capitals.
I am personally very pleased that you are taking this approach. The ICO scene has devolved into greedy meme pools and it is increasingly harder to find a project with a functional prototype. A lean ICO with great token metrics will be more beneficial to the image and success of this project. This is just my opinion of course.
