I'm amazed how quietly and modestly the DeepOnion team introduced DeepVault and I can't wait for the entire world to learn about it. This is a blockchain killer feature: immutable data!!! it is the single most powerful thing that was almost impossible to achieve until now on centralized systems without the risk of outside tampering. ICO's are raising $millions for white-paper ideas that can't even touch DeepVault. Just let this sink for a while...

I consider it to be a good thing. Yes, there is a bit of controversy in the terms themselves, I mean how could a decentralized thing be regulated, but think of it that way. Many people who are interested, are having trust issues. Having the ICOs somewhat regulated whithin reasonable bounds, would increase trustworthiness, and eventually spark interest into people who are currently out of the picture, due to lack of regulations in the first place.
I'd like to believe and support your view. But unfortunately most governments don't care about protecting their citizens from scam ICO's. Their motive is led by greed and hunger for control. Notice how these regulations will mostly lead to heavier taxation and governments taking large profit cuts. Still, let's hope that you are right.

Many users are confused whether or not they should use the reclaim tool on the new wallet release. If you could see your a balance on the previous wallet (v. 2.5.1), then you don’t need to use the reclaim tool. Just download the new wallet (v.2.5.2) and enter your current seed. At first you’ll see a balance of 0 which is normal. Go to Recieve and generate addresses until your balance shows up again. Use the reclaim tool only if you missed the previous wallet upgrade in August (you are still using v. 2.5.0 instead of 2.5.1) or you are one of the few that had an issue with double-spent during the September snapshot. This is the info shared on slack and telegram. If my info is incomplete or inaccurate please let me know.
And If i did the claim with before 2.5.1. My balabnce wasnt there and normally it was 1,3 Gi ? After the claim i could see my Gi but after reloggin in there are not seeable anymore. What happpens with my fund then? I dont see the funds anymore since a new login to my new seed. My only hope is that the last adress of the old seed shows a pending transaction with my IOTAs .... ? Is this ok or will there be problems now? I wait for 3 hours+ and generated 10+ new adresses .. nothing. But the pending transaction makes me hoping it is ok. I'm not sure I fully understand. Can you either join the IOTA Slack group (only if you have an account already as it is temporarily closed to new users) or the telegram chat group: https://t.me/iotatangleIt will be easier to communicate there.

I understand the motives for creating Community (XCM) but at the same time fear it might dilute the value of XRB if the tech and newer features will be almost identical (even if coin supply is different). I would love to hear why I might be wrong on this.
Everything of this coin is identical it so let see how is the dev could make any difference. all the people talking about XCM ,can anyone paste the BTT link here ? i want to know about it All I could find is a link to their telegram announcement channel: https://t.me/raiblockscommunityApparently they will release the updated website in a few days.

If they start it as a new project it needs a rebrand - dont know who came up with the idea to continue using a name that was one of the worst coin scams ever?!
I agree. Many dismiss the potential of a rebrand to reinvigorate a good project...tough I have to admit that I love the name and think Signatum has one of the best logos.

I will buy XBY every month until I reach the price of $ 1.5 / XBY i know im really thinking about swaping my Ark for More XBY lol I was thinking of selling all my loosing bags as well as those I lost faith on to get XBY instead.. but at the same time wrestling the thought of selling at a loss. Few projects offer so much promise such as this.. tough choice for an investor.

Hi, checking to see if the dev is still working on this project or has it been completely abandoned? The WAAHswap idea was very interesting. Thanks.

This is such a surreal thread to follow. I wish that OP returns to share his thoughts here again.

What a roller-coaster this is turning out to be. IOTA & TEZOS competing with each other on who can attract more FUD towards them

The answer is both yes and hmm - alike, as the scheme is a little weird because it requires upfront size estimation to ensure providing an answer without breaking a sequence of encryption and thus it does not fit in exact definitions.
Thanks for your answer Your concept of a post-blockchain multidimensional 'neural-like' network is beyond just intriguing. I will eagerly await more updates and details from you.

So, no update for some time, just wanted to let you know that Hibryda has now implemented fully homomorphic encrypted entities into bitlattice. Hibryda is still coding and developing.
Thanks for the update. Does this mean that Bitlattice will implement zero knowledge proof (or similar) transactions?

I highly doubt the future of waves because it is just a copy cat of ethereum with more additional features which benefits a normal user to create a token with contract. But it has limited technical features compare to ethereum. So I highly doubt its future.
Ethereum is turing-complete while WAVES isn't. That means that the Ethereum platform is like an open invitation for hackers and buggy smart contracts. In that respect WAVES has a huge advantage over Ethereum.

Received, thanks. I have Never seen a 0 Decimal value but I am not techie enough to understand the difference anyway

Just moved my FCT from Bittrex to the Exodus Eden wallet. Transaction was fast and the new wallet is a delight to use. In recent days Bittrex started to freeze accounts for no apparent reason and support tickets remain unanswered for days. That was enough for me to move even my trading stash back to my wallet.
Hi, I am in the same position as you were before. I have all my FCT in Poloniex and I would like to move them to a wallet outside the exchanges. Since I have FCT I wanted to move them to a wallet but the paper wallet is too complicated for me. I didn't know that Exodus Eden wallet supports FCT. But.. "Exodus Eden wallet" is different wallet than "Exodus". On the Exodus website says: - We recommend Eden for advanced users only. Normal Exodus users SHOULD NOT USE Eden. - Eden is unsupported, pre-release software - things are likely to break. - To be clear, the Exodus customer support team will not be able to help if you experience any problems with Eden. Please can you give an update about the usability of Eden wallet. Is it easy to use? Do you need to be a tech guy? Is secure to have the coins in this wallet? Thanks! You are correct to point out that the Exodus EDEN wallet in not officially supported. From my experience it works flawlessly and I have yet to find a more user-friendly alternative. Personally I feel comfortable enough to store small amounts in it but I should probably avoid recommending it in the future until full support is granted.

So happy to have received an email confirmation that the tokens will be distributed by October 22nd. This project already has a working product that has undergone successful trials. This will be a long hold for me as I believe this is a sleeping giant in the making.
My thoughts too, I think most people who invested in modum are already in love with the project. If it delivers than who knows where the limit is for this! I really like this project too, it's one of my biggest invests. At the moment I'm not sure that this date is selected very well because of the Bitcoin Gold Fork on the 25. October, they should release the coin after the fork in my opinion. I further hope there won't be much dumpers because this is really a legit and promising project. I'm sure they won't change the date because of Bitcoin Gold. If they did, then many would whine because they didn't hold the date. That's right of course, but they should be able to communicate the reason for the delay. Most of the real investors who believe in the project won't have any problem with one week delay, just the dumpers will cry. I agree that the release date is unfortunate. On a positive side, if a dump occurs, we have a second chance to buy at or close to the ICO price. Regardless, long term the future is bright for Modum.

Excellent read. In a previous post of mine I asked what is a supporting argument used by those who say that IOTA will never function without the coordinator. In the above article there is a quote by Eric Wall: "Withstanding an attacker with specialized hardware attacking the network at a constant speed is wishful thinking. In June, I made the prediction that IOTA will fail to disable the Coordinator in 2018. I am not convinced the Coordinator can ever be safely disabled, which means that IOTA may potentially stay centralized indefinitely." So if I understood his argument correctly, such an attack can't be fully mitigated unless IOTA is massively adopted and there are millions if not billions of devices running the Jinn chip. Seems like a good problem/challenge to have
