281  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / Looking for Miners! on: March 06, 2016, 01:55:31 AM
Thanks for pointing that out

Sorry for the confusion on that.  Both us an Johnny's pool were doing the same thing.  It was a problem with the way the database was breaking things to display them only.  The next round it should show correctly thanks to Johnnybravo.  We made the database changes to display the higher number of shares with today's difficulty.

Let me know what you want to do as far as the rental and where you want me to send a few coins for the group mine.  We have to get through this 4th round.
283  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool / Looking for Miners! on: March 03, 2016, 10:41:28 PM
Sorry guys been on the road all day today, what would you like to do for the rental? Wait until the difficulty drop?

Depends how long we want to wait for any other people to come forward and join us.

So far we have:

Laviathon
krisgt30
messypete
LoneRangir ? - maybe

I'm not banking on a diff drop just yet
284  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: March 03, 2016, 02:18:43 PM

Yeah, I'll support that idea. Decide if its you or Laviathon that's gonna do the rental and I'll put  .2 into the pot.

Come on the rest of you fellow Monster miners. Lets get this block done and move onwards and upwards.

Mario

If we get some more people registered, I can do it since Laviathon is at work right now. If anyone else is interested please post here along with your planned contribution amounts. Once we get to at least 1BTC in contributions I will pm you the address to send to (which will be my nicehash account address) and we can get the rental started. In the meantime I will create the rental account now.

*Edit - account created - the username is BCTeamRental

depending on the price and when people start their rental wouldnt it be better to have people rent on their own vs collectively. ie 1 btc total may last longer if 10 people try and rent separately vs 1 person renting all at once.

I'll throw in some also.  Want to get though this round.  You guys can trust him.
285  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: March 03, 2016, 03:43:21 AM
Any clue who that stevetrapp guy was posting in irc about me contacting him or he was going to move his miners?  I do not have any emails or anything that I have not replied to.  Not sure what he needs.

edit... Apparently the contact us on the site is not functioning for some reason.  I ask Johnny if he had any trouble with his.  I will try to get on the server and look at it in the morning and see if I can figure out what it is that is causing that to not work correctly.  So please do not use that for the next little bit until I have time to fix whatever is wrong.
286  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: March 02, 2016, 03:58:07 PM
That's a great angle...is a lot of hashing power over there

Like I said via PM it really was just a google translated version of the post here.   Feel free to doctor it up and make it more pertinent for that market.
287  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: March 02, 2016, 03:24:27 PM
@laviathon, I read the topic you started in Chinese sub forum.. Are you using a direct translation from Google..? A lot incorrect translation over there..

Do you speak fluent mandarin?  If you want to fix the grammatical errors and pm me to me I will update it.  You would be my hero.

I'll be opening a new thread shortly, maybe even tonight. Just haven't gotten around to it. Busy with other things. Looks like the price has just about hit the floor at this point  Shocked

+1  good job
really the only thing to do is to find a way to stop the massive old dev wallets that are gonna be waiting for a price increase, and this coin will belong to the communitie Wink
when that solution is implemented (im not sure how) i will support this coin
good luck guys! Wink

Nice make sure you post a link to the new thread here as I do not scan the altcoin threads very often.  I have a few thousand.
292  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Jonny's Mining Emporium (bravo-mining.com) - New Promotion! on: March 02, 2016, 04:24:32 AM
LOL... yes, if the trend continues we will see a negative difficulty adjustment, which will increase the percentage of shares found against expectations.

So, let's find a block before that happens!

I do not think that will happen but would be amazing if it did!
293  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: March 02, 2016, 03:03:27 AM
It depends on the batch. Earlier batches are $85/month later batches are $105/month.

how are later batches more? they hash less then earlier and have less chips.

Welcome aboard alex!  We need to take a s7 count and see how many we are up to towards our 212 goal.

The older ones used less power I'm sure is the reason.
294  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: March 01, 2016, 03:57:27 AM
Thought this was cool.  Site info by geo for the month of feb.

295  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: February 29, 2016, 05:16:51 AM
We need more people like you to jump in for the long haul with their hash.

Here's a silly question. What the best Difficulty to set the s7 to?

Difficulty is set by the stratum server to make sure your miner reports ever 8 seconds with a 30% max variance window.  If averages less that 8 seconds it will increase the diff, if more it will lower it.  In the end, difficulty has no effect on the "best share" just how quick the miner reports a cluster of shares.
296  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: February 28, 2016, 04:48:23 PM
so wheres the block we have been looking it seems forever. its gotta drop sometime soon.

I know right.  I think we are paying for the amazing luck we had in the first 3 rounds.  I know I have said this a ton but we have to get the base hash rate up.  We need to get to atleast 1 PH/s without the rentals in order to get this thing to grow and stand a chance to find a blocks on the regular.  If the difficulty continues to climb and it will soon we will need 2 ph/s.  Any Ideas on what we can do to get some bigger miners to come and stay with us for the long term short of giving free BTC.  This round for instance most likely both Krisgt30 and myself will have lost 4 btc each in rentals.
297  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: February 28, 2016, 02:21:24 AM
What is up with these people paying .0036 and higher for these rentals.   Math says we should be at .0031 now.  I have 4 PH/s sitting at .0033 in que and that is stupid.
298  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: February 28, 2016, 12:53:19 AM
Once this block hits, I think we will see the next two blocks come quickly, because we all will be throwing major rental hash at the pool with our recouped btc to make up for our losses this round.

OK going to take one more shot at it.  Big rental incoming.   Going to reboot the server really quick.

edit: Back up!
299  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HELP? I am trying to decide on... on: February 27, 2016, 04:35:25 AM
Im sticking with core for the here and now anyway.   Is all these spinoff's really good for BTC anyway?
300  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: BCMonster.com Mining Pool Still looking for miners! 3 blocks found. on: February 27, 2016, 04:01:31 AM
lets hope your prediction is right for Saturday for the block. need some coins to get some rental power going for the pool. cant let bcmonster and krisgt30 carry all the weight with the high power rentals.

I will also get some rental power when the new block fall.

Thanks at krisgt30 and bcmonster for the hashing power they throw in!

Lets hope that block does fall!  Im ready to hit the next one hard.  The pool needs it!  I appreciate all the people that have come on board.
