ok good really useful info thanks a lot in fact I tried to follow a video to set the bct signature and I could not any signature at all , thanks a lot , patience is a virtue.

Happy to help, we've all got to start somewhere.

This is a really helpful post that explains the ranks: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=178608.0

Also, check out the forums on https://www.deeponion.org/

Even though you can't participate in the signature campaign here yet, there's a decent amount of opportunities to pick up onions on there.

Your particular user ID is: 1127636

I believe the airdrop/signature campaign for Deep Onion is only open to the Member level and above, though.

You should check the thread, but the best thing you can do is start reading and get active so that you can eventually join.
263  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO SOON on: August 28, 2017, 01:06:49 PM
It is an interesting article which does a good job breaking down the differences.

When MNE 2.0 was first announced, though, didn't the DEV say you could either swap your MNE 1.0 genesis address for a MNE 2.0 address or purchase 2.0 with 1.0? I can understand if the possibility of swapping genesis addresses just wasn't feasible, but I'm curious if that's the reason for the change or if the idea was just dropped.
264  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you have a gun? on: August 27, 2017, 07:33:31 PM
I'm in the Southeastern US where guns are quite common, but I don't personally own one. I'm very pro second amendment, but it's a personal pact I have with myself. Too many run ins with depression for me to trust myself with a fire arm.
265  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple XRP Price Prediction on: August 27, 2017, 07:07:32 PM
I went with $2, but I'm thinking more along the lines of $1 is realistic.

I don't like how centralized it is, but I think the establishment is starting to get behind it, so I've got a small stash of it.
266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][STC] | Airdrop still open | LOTTERY | direct sale on: August 27, 2017, 06:00:49 PM
which exchange have you planed in the future? I don't find a whitepaper or a roadmap?

regards

Looks a bit shady to me...

Well, the thing is, the Dev basically promoted this coin as something with no promises. In that regard, he was honest and up front.

Still, it looks like this thing is DOA.
267  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: [YOURCHAIN] [URHOC] Unofficial trading thread on: August 27, 2017, 05:58:52 PM
I'm also an interested buyer in URHOC.

If you've got any to sell, please PM me with the amount and your price.

Thanks.

I know you're going to take a hit, but I don't think you're going to find anyone that's a willing buyer at $50. Not enough reward for the risk.

I might be interested at half price - $30.
269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best website to trade your altcoins? on: August 25, 2017, 02:35:24 PM
Hello there, i'm new in the cryptocurrency market and everyday i'm here reading all i can, the speculations, tutorials, guides and everything to understand more about this very profitable market. I have 20 years and it's time to make some money, and cryptocurrency is one way to do that. I already bought some bitcoins for a long term investment and now i want some short term investments like altcoins. So, as im new to the market, i don't know the channels to trade my coins... I read alot about tokens, and i see that it's interesting to invest in some, such as STOX. But i don't know any website that sells those cryptocoins rater than poloniex.com, if you guys could help me on that, i would like to now the principals websites to buy new and olds altcoins. Thanks and sorry for the poor english.

I think my favorite site for trading at the moment is https://bittrex.com/

Lots of pairs and lots of volume.
270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO SOON on: August 25, 2017, 01:55:51 PM

that's great news!! Question, let's say I buy 10.000 ART at the ICO. Do I end up with 10.000 coins, or will I get a genesis adress that mines 10.000 coins over the period of 60 years?

You will get a Genesis address that mines 10.000 coins over the period of 60 years.

I can't believe anyone in their right mind would choose an investment that takes 60 years, in a market that's barely 10 years old. if there's no way to buy ART in bulk up front, like any other coin, what's the purpose of investing? Ask yourself, would you rather get 20K ART now, each valued at 1$, or 1ART a day over the next 20.000 days, with no guarantees that ART will even be worth 0.01$ within 1 year?

You make an interesting point, but don't forget that the Dev is planning to have a market to sell genesis addresses. So in essence, you could cash out any time before those 60 years.
271  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Minereum - First Self Mining Smart Contract - ARTEMINE ICO SOON on: August 24, 2017, 08:42:16 PM

Whoops meant ICO instead of IPO.

Yes all the MNE will be burned, but ART is being sold as "Version 2.0 of Minereum". Why would anyone want to hold onto an outdated version of Artemine‏, I can't really see the value of that. Are the developers planning on doing anything with MNE after ART makes it debut? I'm thinking the answer is no, so I can't see any real purpose to hodling even if the supply is burned. But I sincerely hope you prove me wrong.

Yes, the plan for Minereum hasn't changed according to the Dev. They will just be two different coins with two different roadmaps.
272  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchange USD funding on: August 24, 2017, 06:08:24 PM
Bitfinex only have Wire transfer for deposits and the same thing applies to Kraken unless you are from Europe then you could use SEPA. What I can suggest is to create a PayPal or Skrill account and trade with invididuals, It should cost you less when It comes to the fees and If you really want to use the exchanges you mentioned afterwards you could deposit USDT (Tether) instead.

where can i find the individuals to trade with? are there any marketplaces for this?
and how I can be sure that I'll get the coins after I make the payment in skrill or paypal?

There's a place called Paxful where you can trade BTC for PayPal and vice versi. You just have to get someone with lots of good reviews that's got a good exchange rate. I've used it a couple of times.
273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some Altcoin Questions on: August 24, 2017, 05:58:38 PM
Sorry for too lazy to do ''Search'' on Google / here.

1) Got some tokens in my ETH address, where can I exchange those tokens to BTC / ETH?

2) How to decide which ICO is not ''scam'' / worth to invest?
Check their site / White Paper? as there are many ICO nowaday.

3) What the difference between I invest during ICO and after ICO?
I know the price would be difference, but at least you will know is the altcoin ''dead'' or not after the ICO.

1) Any exchange such as Bittrex, etc.

2) Yes, do the research, but if you're not going to both to Google for information, I'm not sure you'll be very successful.

3) Yes, investing at the ICO is riskier but the payoff is more reward.
274  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LiveCoin.net > Buy/Sell/Exchange > + WiCoin (WIC) on: August 23, 2017, 02:14:22 PM
I recently reset my phone losing my 2FA saved code - stupid mistake, I know.

At any rate, livecoin said it would be 10 days my account would be locked and then I could get back in.

It's been over 10 days and it's telling me 'User Blocked' when I try to sign in. No one seems interested in responding to my ICQ or emails....

I've got over $1000 in that account and I'd appreciate some actual help.

EDIT:  Looks like someone fixed it for me.

Thanks!
275  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can you say about DeepOnion? on: August 23, 2017, 12:44:01 PM
I think it's well managed and has great potential.

It's thread grows by quite a few pages each day and the Dev is very active in keeping the community up to date. I wouldn't be surprised to see it at $10 or more by the end of the year.
276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you had 1000$ to invest in Altcoins long term, which one would you choose? on: August 23, 2017, 12:42:00 PM
I like Deep Onion as well and XRP.

There's a lot I don't like about Ripple, but if we're just talking about making money, I think it's got a lot of upswing potential.
277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Suggest some good Altcoins for longterm investment!!! on: August 23, 2017, 12:32:23 PM
Right now, I like Deep Onion.

The thread is huge showing lots of support and the free Airdrop is still ongoing. Good chance to get into a good alt for free.
278  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: LiveCoin.net >>Guide, exchange practical advice on: August 23, 2017, 12:27:59 PM
Hello, I was wondering if you can help with a blocked account?

I reset my phone, which I didn't realize erased my 2FA codes. I contacted your site for support and they said they'd remove the 2FA but my account would be locked for 10 days. That was over 10 days ago and now when I try to log in it says 'User Blocked.'

I'd really appreciate any help you can provide.
279  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] ⚡ DeepOnion TOR Integrated ⚡ No ICO FREE Airdrops 6th of 40 Rounds on: August 23, 2017, 12:22:49 PM
So the new rules say posting in Off-Topic section of the forum doesn't count anymore.
But in the OP of this thread it still says

Quote
You can post anywhere in the bitcointalk forum you wish! We have no rule or restrictions on this.

I think you need to adjust the OP to match the current conditions or otherwise it's pretty confusing.
Good point we will update this. Maybe we need to expand it but not post fully in off topic areas.

I appreciate the new rule, but some clarifications would be nice as to how much is allowable and what the cutoff is.

I'm honestly having a hard time keeping up with things as 20 new pages will appear on this thread in one day.
280  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Is Global Warming Real? on: August 22, 2017, 07:55:37 PM
It's hard to deny that it's getting hotter; the question is what's causing it?

I'm not a believer in anthropogenic Global Warming myself.
