621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scammers are to be blame on: October 20, 2019, 09:26:35 AM
Yes, a scam project kills all future projects. All images are clearly depicted as part of the negativity. What must be realized is that there are still many bounty hunters who promote them on the grounds that 'if they are not tried, they will not know the results'. I think this is still a small reason. But most people have started to be smart to distinguish which projects are scams and which are legit projects. We take the positives, with the existence of scammers, the community becomes more mature in understanding the world of crypto itself. But still, always be careful.

This is a sad reality which we cannot control as scammers are everywhere, they don't have any conscience at all, all they want to do is to scam people, they don't care if they money they are feeding their family/kids are came from bad intention, they don't care about karma or the consequence that they are doing, all they care is they wanted to have a lot of money.
Money had already controlled their mind, they are living to scam other people.
They scam just to survive, they tend to do illegal things just to provide their needs and wants. No more conscience remains in their humanity. They chose to become like that for the sake of money.
They are always keep up of what is trend, not only in ICO as long as they know where they can earn money they will make many scam project.

My guess those scam  project is from hyip ponzi scheme before just switch in ICO.
Since they know they cant earn with ponzi that anymore so they decided to switch to ICO trend .
Yes there are many ways to scam people. Of course they are using the moment of crypto awakening itself. They are too complacent with the pleasures of others.
Therefore the community or members here must be smarter in choosing projects by conducting a series of studies. They can scam you is not only by the chance but also a fool who promotes them.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Litecoin dips really low in price, I am buying a LOT! on: October 20, 2019, 08:42:08 AM
If I were you, I would sell it for $ 140 and wait again when the price goes down to buy. But basically you do not lose if you sell it right now. So it's better to keep it again until it really matches the desired price. But always remember, if you play short term, then sell when there is profit, but if it's long term, determine how long you will hold it. that's all from me. Don't be too greedy. Goodluck buddy.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is Ripple not dead? on: October 20, 2019, 07:40:15 AM
The reason why XRP is not dead is the number of companies that use their services. In their site also explained that there are 200+ customers who work with them. Personally, I don't really like XRP either because the supply is regulated by their own policy or the company. This is what I consider XRP not crypto but rather e-payment.

625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Create and Trade own crypto on: October 20, 2019, 02:19:54 AM
Making coins or tokens is very easy and there are many guidelines when you googling. Or you can hire someone who capable. But the problem is whether the coins will be useful or not. What is clear is to think carefully about what the coin was made for, its vision and mission, and who your team is. Don't let your coins end up scamming. It could even take you to jail because of deception.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top 10 Cryptocurrencies Predicted to Dominate the Market in 2020 on: October 19, 2019, 11:22:32 AM
For bitcoin I don't doubt it anymore because this is the source. For ETH, EOS, NEO, and XRP there will also certainly increasing in price movements. But the one I like the most is XLM, one of the first coins I know in crypto world. Until now it still survives, and will continue until no one knows. What I like about XLM is that the shipping speed is fast and very cheap worldwide.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If You Died Tomorrow, What Would Happen To Your Crypto? on: October 19, 2019, 08:51:26 AM
I did the number 2. After marriage, I introduced the world of crypto that I worked for 5 years to my wife. The goal is to be able to understand what I do for the needs of her life. If tomorrow I will die, then tonight I will make a notepad containing privatekey, login details to the exchanger with funds, how to buy and sell, and how to change to FIAT. Of course, with as much detail as possible.

629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you could invest in a project with it's own hardware device, WOULD YOU? on: October 19, 2019, 05:53:49 AM
To ensure that I want to invest or not is a complicated choice, that means there must be a series of studies on it. If Ledger takes out the coins, it doesn't mean that I will immediately invest, but I think more about the functions and uses of the coins first. After that what is the vision and mission, how are their partners, etc. Although they are a trusted company, but we are talking about personal money that we should be able to use as well as possible in order to get profit not loss.
Indeed, we should know its purpose, use and capabilities before we invest. We should not easily invest because it is already known in this community. If ever that they will put up a project, it depends if their proposal will be good enough to make us invest.
Yeah, we need a really good proposal because all the decisions are really there. Many ways to attract investors, but a good proposal is the initial capital for developers to attract attention. Sometimes HYPE is also a determining factor for the success or failure of a project. In the sense, that HYPE is created because of good things contained in the project plan. It could be something new or surprising.

631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bank of Crypto? on: October 19, 2019, 03:20:46 AM
I don't think there is a need for a crypto bank if it's just to secure assets. Just buy a stable coin and keep it in a very safe place such as a hardware wallet. I think this is very efficient rather than having to save in a crypto bank. We have to pay storage fees, and do other administrative actions, troublesome.
Even if there is a future, it seems like there aren't many people who will glance at the crypto bank.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we boycott ICO's ? on: October 19, 2019, 02:27:26 AM
Yes it is very unfortunate this happened. What I mean is that these bounty hunters are tired of promoting their projects, but there is no satisfying reciprocity. I think it's better for the bounty hunters to be paid by BTC, ETH or anything that already has a market price. And of course the requirements for bounty hunters are also tightened to prevent duplicate or multi-account systems. So the bounty hunter also won't damage the price when the coin enters the market.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP and BCH on: October 19, 2019, 01:28:52 AM
XRP and BCH are good coins. They are in the top 5 coinmarketcap. But unfortunately I am not interested in the two coins. Because of the centralized nature of XRP, I was reluctant to put money there. Whereas BCH is too much drama in my opinion. Many say BCH is an obscure, liar, manipulative project. But the choice is always in the hands of the buyer. Don't listen from just one direction. Learn more and decide as you wish.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to protect your crypto before death? on: October 19, 2019, 12:05:31 AM
First, I save the privatekey that I use safely. Because this is what will show our assets to others. Second, I always teach my wife how to use or whatever is in the crypto world. That way, my wife is not technologically illiterate and she can access my assets any time. Yes, of course I've given her my privatekey. Yes of course, by teaching her in advance how to open a wallet with privatekey, how to sell it, and how to change it to FIAT. I think it's very easy and simple.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Multiple Round ICOs? on: October 18, 2019, 12:38:03 PM
Lots of this happens in new projects. Some even reached round 3. The possibility of this is only 2, first, they sell with the reason to distinguish which early bird and which are ordinary investors. Cheaper prices in the first round or usually called presale or private sale. Until the next round where all the coins are sold out. Second, the next round occurred because in round 1 the hardcap was not fulfilled so a further round was opened to meet the target.

These are tactics of developers to pool in as much funds as possible and now most of the project does that with cheeky terms like bonus rounds and all,  I think it's a waste of time as resource which shows lack of planning and improper execution in the first round which makes it spill to other rounds.  Nowadays investors are bit hesitant to invest after a disastourous last year so developer needs to win the trust back with genuine projects.
Yes, you are right. They really are not mature enough in that regard. That way, their roadmap can be messy because of the unexpected round 2. If I saw from my experience, if it has entered round 2 because the funds are not collected properly, then it is certain that the coin will be ignored or the roadmap does not work properly.

637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about the Facebook Libra cryptocurrency idea? on: October 18, 2019, 10:06:07 AM
I noticed that many members here are not happy with Libra. Starting from the centralization of Libra, nothing is interesting, the same idea as the payment system, partners who leave, etc.
I am not very enthusiastic about hearing Facebook issue Libra as its crypto payment. Moreover, they must submit to the SEC. But if you look ahead according to the funds they have from the benefits of Facebook, Libra could be launched even without PayPal, eBay, VISA, etc.
638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are responsible for the death of their tokens on: October 18, 2019, 08:02:18 AM
I think they don't have trust in their own project, so give a 50% bonus to investors. Yes, it is part of marketing, but some people judge that they will not glance at this kind of project because it will end up with a price that is not in accordance with the promise when entering the exchange. It's better to buy when it's on the market than having to go to the store.

Providing large bonuses for early investors is common from the past until now. In my opinion, this is part of the marketing strategy of the developer team and this is legitimate because there is no clear regulation from the government regarding new projects or the sale of tokens.

but the team did not do the advanced strategy if they give a big bonus, maybe some developers who did the strategy give a big bonus to investors but they were not ready if the price dropped in the market. therefore, the bonuses given should not be large but sufficient bonuses to attract the attention of investors, maybe would be wiser
If it is a business strategy, I think it is not profitable for buyers because the market price will also not be like the prices in the tokensale. Therefore it's useless to give a bonus at the beginning if only to attract buyers. It's better to use other marketing strategies that can boost the selling value on the market rather than giving a bonus. I think like that.
639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The top 5 countries are ‘paradise’ for cryptocurrencies on: October 18, 2019, 06:33:34 AM
Your list is absolutely right. On average I see Malta on every new or old project web page from there. It is worth mentioning crypto paradise. And in addition, I also often see the name Cayman Island. I don't know where it is, but every crypto-related e-mail I receive, surely at the bottom it says Cayman Island. Seems South Korea too. There are several projects from there.
640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have a $ 500 fund you want to make a profit on: October 18, 2019, 05:46:35 AM
Before you spend your $ 500, it's good if you use a little 20-30 USD to study. If you understand correctly, then use the rest. But I suggest splitting it for several pieces, don't put it all in one coin. I think half to buy BTC as a long term and half you can buy 2-3 potential coins that are in large exchanges. And also don't be greedy to take advantage if you play daily trading.
