124  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: November 14, 2013, 07:05:16 AM
@indianplayers

That is nothing, I lost 2.15 btc total at coinroll by martingaling. My highest was 16 loss streak after a 15 loss streak at 2x. If only I could get them back...

so this game ranks up there on the $hit list too..hmm   Roll Eyes

16 loss streak at 2x is one 2^16. There is, at any time, a 1 in 65,536 that your next 16 rolls are a loss streak. With millions of bets and people making 100000s and even millions of bets for those using martingale scripts, such streaks are bound to happen. The same happen on every other dice site.

Notice that despite thousands of players, only a very low amount so far complained about such long loss streaks. These are the few very unlucky ones.

Results are provably fair. Any player can verify that their results are fair as well as check the entire database of bets and see that the house edge indeed closely follows 1%.

Well no one raised last minute it seems.

I'll gladly pay 21 BTC. Almost twice what BitPride is currently trading at.

Last minute bid defense!

I raise to 21 BTC!

Also price a bit too cheap.
127  Economy / Gambling / Re: Coinroll.it - Dice rolling game | Instant bets | Off-the-chain | 1% House edge on: November 13, 2013, 11:07:39 PM
7 losses in a row will happen all the time on every dice website (on 50% odds). If you use a script and do more than 10000 rolls, 12-13 streaks will have a high chance of occurring once or more.

Check the database dumps. House edge is very close to the claimed 1%. Results remain provably fair.

I've seen plenty of large streaks (win or loss) on other websites too.

All bids will be counted!

You mean email offers?

If this auction can't produce a serious buyer we will consider the various private offers that we have already received.

Are private bids/offers valid for this auction? I cannot compete when I cannot see where the bids are at. Plus any bid should be posted so other participants can raise bid.
Hello Namworld,

I have pondered on this a bit and have come to the conclusion that it's best if I route for all private offers to this auction thread, or make the bids on their behalf.

You are right, you cannot compete with bids you cannot see.

My apologies for not being clear enough at the beginning of this thread.

It would be good to see at a minimum where bidding/offers are at.

How fast are redemptions going out? I have still not received mine.

Hey tehelsper,

Pretty much everyone wants to redeem. But my assets are mostly locked away with both BTCT.co and BitFunder closing at the same time (as in, not tradeable). I do have more than enough assets to redeem everyone, might just take a while to get sorted.

I'll put in a bid of 3 BTC for the business without the $800 in merchandise.

Including:
- Domain
- Website (including existing database)
- T-Shirt design vectors
- Web graphic source (ie logo vector, banner PSDs etc..)
- Ebay account/analytic account

* Bid should be considered null/void if price of bitcoin fluctuates more than +-25% it's current bitstamp price ($343) at the end of the auction.

I have a 10 BTC bid which is still upheld.

2 days 20 hours on the clock.

Hmm, seems to be loading if I wait on the page 5-10 minutes. Not sure why. Thanks for specifying the exact time, will be easier for me to know.

Can't see it.  That picture just won't load. What time in what timezone does this auction end?

138  Economy / Auctions / Re: [AUCTION] 42 ASICMINER direct shares on: November 07, 2013, 12:36:31 AM
It appears CanaryInTheMine has received his transfer of shares. Confirmation and trust feedback would be appreciated.
maybe a dumb question, but how do I know they transferred? I have no email, PM etc...

Unless you were expecting direct shares from multiple sources, by checking the BTC payment from the ASICMINER address to the BTC address you provided. Friedcat only sent me a confirmation by PM.

You received a payment for 42 shares more on the 6th november than your payment on the 30th october.
