81  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why you mostly like bitcoin compare to other digital currency? on: December 30, 2015, 07:31:35 PM
Bitcoin is the most expensive crypto out there. It is also the father of blockchain technology. I compare Bitcoin as the Gold of crypto. That is why I like it and why I would never leave it. I think Bitcoin will always be the most valuable crypto coin out there. Just my opinion.  Smiley

Bitcoin has the first runner advantage. Most other coins are just copies or scams. Litecoin is just a copy.

83  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2015-12-19] Coindesk.com - Eating the bitcoin cake on: December 21, 2015, 07:06:52 PM
Although Charlie Lee makes a nice analysis and has some valid arguments I suspect that the main agenda of why Charlie is promoting a block-size limit and a fixed minimum fee, where smaller crypto currencies can handle micro payments, is to support/promote LTC and not the health and future of the bitcoin network.

Why would he put Litecoin infront of Bitcoin? That doesn't make much sense to me. Yes, he is the creator of Litecoin, but I am fairly sure that he as person is realistic enough to know that Litecoin has no future at all. It's nothing more than a coin that is being used to make big profits by Litecoin whales.

Litecoin will have future only when bitcoin dies. If the bitcoin block chain size cannot increase to 2MB by the middle of next year, it will die.
84  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 01:38:58 PM
The fee for paypal is quite high. When it integrates bitcoin, the fee might be reduced. I will use it more.
85  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: December 02, 2015, 06:33:21 PM
Those, who bought when I posted the buy signal, must have made more than 50% profit in a month Wink

The price is in the rising trend again. I am wondering how high it will go. Just do not want the price to rise too fast.
86  Economy / Economics / Re: Elasticity and inelasticity of bitcoin's supply and demand on: November 21, 2015, 11:29:58 AM
The money supply of bitcoin is limited. So the price in bitcoin will be lower in long term.

Congratulations on showing that you have absolutely no economic knowledge.

Reduced supply of a good means that a good will have a higher price due to its scarcity, it makes no sense saying that the price would be lower.

Sorry, this is a type. What I meant is that the price of bitcoin will be higher in the long term due to limited supply and increase supply of fiat.
87  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What 2.0 Currency will be the most successful? on: November 09, 2015, 09:41:45 PM
nothing else to say about my avatar ?

and by the way i would have voted but there was no NONE option..

So are you saying we have to stick with crappy 1.0 coins then?
Ive added none just for you, but i think only a minority will vote!  Cheesy

1.0 coin can evolve into 2.0. Bitcoin can use mixing to make it anonymous. The best anonymous coin is Monero so far.
88  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This Might Sounds Strange: Bitcoin Violates the Principle of Money Fungibility on: November 04, 2015, 01:44:47 PM
A coin is just coin, it will retain its value even if it was used in doggy business before. Most US dollar bills have been used illegally. Most of them have the taint of cocaine.
89  Economy / Speculation / Re: yay btc goes ~$250 ! on: October 31, 2015, 01:42:14 PM
price will lower than not, dumb it's just begun so what price will lower then $200 soon

The price rises faster than the expectations of most people. It is already $330. The price is so unpredictable.
90  Economy / Speculation / Re: new highs possible only after memory fades on: October 30, 2015, 05:27:49 PM
I talk to my friends about bitcoin. I try to convince bitcoin is the currency of the future. It is quite difficult.
91  Economy / Economics / Re: Elasticity and inelasticity of bitcoin's supply and demand on: October 28, 2015, 11:12:42 AM
Money supply is correlated to market supply.
Prices in dollar terms of various assets have been maintained because the fed has increased the money supply.

The money supply of bitcoin is limited. So the price in bitcoin will be lower in long term.
92  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the hottest alt coin right now? on: October 27, 2015, 10:15:40 AM
Dash is quite popular among altcoin users  Wink It is hard to say, what is the profit from Dash at the moment  Grin

Most altcoins have holders, not users. Wink. 45% of the new coins go to Master node operator. I am not sure if it is profitable for them.
93  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: October 26, 2015, 08:25:02 PM
When the price consolidates around $280 for about a month and heading into $300, it's the buy time. The price will hover around $350.
94  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Price Technical Analysis – How Low Can It Go? on: October 26, 2015, 08:16:03 PM
fair price 10 cents

Fair price is about $2 in today's world, when we find more usage for Eth, such as smart contract, the price will rise further.
95  Economy / Speculation / Re: yay btc goes ~$250 ! on: October 26, 2015, 10:52:41 AM
if we manage to go above $300 and maintain to stay there it can be considered a great achievement, especially since we've been waiting a long time for it.

Consolidation around $270-290 is good for the short term. The price has risen too fast recently.
96  Economy / Speculation / Re: new highs possible only after memory fades on: October 24, 2015, 08:34:03 PM
Here's my thought; the next bubble won't really take off strong until after the history of the last bubble fades from memory enough.  Developing fundamentals have to accumulate enough to blur the previous bubble into obscurity.  We aren't there yet.  The current developing fundamentals have a ways to go yet to mask the memory of the last bubble.  New features and functions will attract new users only when they features and functions are "better" enough.  Even then that won't be enough.  The potential new users need to become aware.  New investors won't remember the past performance directly; instead they will look at the charts which remain clearly visible for many years.

If you want Bitcoin to succeed then;

1) don't just sit there and wait for someone else to do the work
2) actively promote Bitcoin
3) avoid losing heart

If you want Bitcoin to fail then please go find something else to do.

in my opinion, the price bubble although inevitable is not a good thing it will cause a lot of users to stay away from such an unstable price, so all those efforts you mentioned in the end are going to be in vein.

we all should start spreading the word about bitcoin if we want to see it be successful but i think an stable price with steady rise like the past few months is better than a big rise to $1200 and then slowly dying back to $200. and that would automatically bring more people in for a long time not just a short investment.

I also like the slow rise. Steady price will increase the value of bitcoin so that it can be used as a currency.
97  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will the world look like in 10 years if Bitcoin succeeds? on: October 23, 2015, 03:05:09 PM
So... what is your best case scenario for 2025?

my best scenarion is, bitcoin accpeted everywhere, every country and a big corporation. so i can bought food with bitcoin everywhere in my country.

the price will be around $100k when Bitcoin is accepted universally. That could happen in 10-20 years.
98  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: October 21, 2015, 05:54:05 AM
what you will chose amomg them.and why do the banks are afraid of bitcoin.why banks are not much smooth and faster like bitcoin.if banks start accepting bitcoin as payments then will it became a revolutionary for us?can bank can solve our mining or money curculation probems.

It depends how much money we are talking about and what kind of wallet?  If it is a paper wallet locked in a secure fire safe vault guarded by an army then I'd say a wallet.  If it is a digital wallet, then a bank that is insured by the FDIC.  I think banks have a very different agenda from Bitcoin holders who are benefiting from the long term fundamentals of the currency.  Banks are direct beneficiaries of a fractional-reserve currency system.

Bitcoin can also be fractional-reserve currency. Banks can have 1 bitcoin and do 10 bitcoin borrowing/lending.
99  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the hottest alt coin right now? on: October 20, 2015, 08:37:17 PM
I'd have to say Dash.

The volume of dash is not higher than Eth. It is only 20% of Ethereum. Etherum has more tradings.
100  Economy / Economics / Re: Elasticity and inelasticity of bitcoin's supply and demand on: October 20, 2015, 07:52:00 PM
Interesting discussion.

I think that the demand for bitcoins depends on what people need these bitcoins for - will they hold them as an investment or they are just using them to pay for goods / services or as a quick and inexpensive way to move cash around the world.
In my view, currently there is much more upside in the latter category, although these two are definitevly linked.

Even when people use bitcoin to pay for goods, they will keep bitcoin for certain period before they spend it. It can be regarded as a kind of holding (investment).
