check your bitcoinpool stats, it was a lie that they don't cut 50%, even with 3% donation

is it possible to save slice in db, so it was remembered between start/stop of bithopper

or how can I disable slicing completely?

I just checked my submitted shares percentage of total shares and it still matches up with my estimated rewards.

check previous round, how many total shares?

How are you at 100GH/s and only 1 day old?  Are you running a large rig on your own?

5 days old, 101 hours 1st block and 15h 2nd

i wrote a new calculation routine for the PROP payout.

updating code or changing payout from user share / total shares * 50 to something else in the middle of a round Angry

Cashout  is deactivated

i wrote a new calculation routine for the PROP payout. So first i have to test it.
After i checked for the right balance in your accounts i will activate the cashout.

I think this will be don this evening.

Sorry for this, but this was the first block.

rewriting code or changing payout system to something else in middle of a round Angry

changing rules during already started round? what's next? maybe after 3M shares you change to PPS with each share worth 1 satoshi?

What are you talking about?  It doesn't appear that he changed anything.

I was deceived to submit ~0.18 btc worth of shares, by changing payout method mid round those are stolen from me

I think Pay Per Last N Share pools could be worth hopping if you hop in when >250% shares are done (or another amount, calculated on statistics).

A sort of inversed hopping.
The chance is big that after >250 shares (or another amount, should be calculated on statistics) the block will be found and because you are paid PPLNS you get full reward for it.

Any thoughts?

250% is too early, biggest ever block was 16M shares - 846%, so you should hop @ 430% * difficulty and you will always end in 2nd half of any round, but that long blocks are rare, so maybe 300-350% is good target

organofcorti, PPLNS pool should not be backup pool alone, change your setup for simulation - at least 3 pools - 1 prop, 1 pps and 1 pplns

PPS / Pushpool / 23Ghash

3% for PPS is unsustainable...

why mine_slush jumps @ 0 shares with f597e2a15258a125f36c, I thought it should jump @ 4*difficulty

stupid spammer, GP does not use your cpu, their java application does, while running tests on websites their customers paid for.

I think you should let the pool owner know his pool will go from 4Ghps to 150Ghps before you post a config. It might not handle it.

but it's a....

A reliable and fault tolerant mining pool.

515  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: Deepbit PPS vs. smaller Pools on: July 26, 2011, 10:12:26 AM
How does having a CPU or other weak miner always mining for you under your account while pool hopping with your primary miner get handled by the various schemes? It would seem PPS wouldn't be affected at all but these others might be skewed a bit if you dumped a lot of hashing power early on then moved on to another pool while leaving say 20MH at the original pool. Yes/No?
No. With hopping-proof methods (geometric, PPLNS) the expected payout per share is the same no matter when it was submitted.

PPLNS punishes your luck, there is a luck involved when sending shares, you don't get paid based on hashrate your miner shows, but based on sent shares - you can see with latest poclbm what your lucky hashrate looks server-side, if you have guiminer it also can show server-side hashrate

before going offline x8s.de showed estimated reward on Prop.P. and PPLNS, as I had 3 accounts, 2 of those mined 24/7, I saw one was +2.5% over PP the other was -3% under PP, and there goes "fairness" of PPLNS - if your miner is unlucky @ end of the round you get underpaid

something is wrong with donation, I can't change that % that was entered during sign-up
517  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: July 26, 2011, 09:38:21 AM
pool is crap, simply it can't handle 80-100Ghash/s ...
518  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: July 22, 2011, 04:25:55 PM
it would be wise to move mine_address in passwords.py, some pools offer more than one server
519  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: bitHopper: Python Pool Hopper Proxy on: July 15, 2011, 06:17:42 AM
I suspect there will always be people running proportional pools and doing nothing about pool hoppers. There's just too much demand (from miners) for proportional payouts, and not enough interest (again from miners) in stopping pool hoppers.

you are right, I have 4*5870 @ x8s moved when btcguild went down and will move them back to btcguild if they change proportional to something else

5) Triplemining?
Well it seems like a little bit of a ponzi scheme. I have no issues hopping them however.

I have no issues hopping in your tripplemining minipool however Cheesy
