IMHO exchanging between fiat currencies requires a license, selling series of 0s and 1s does not Grin

Sure, they're Americans...in Chile.

I think those could be C.I.A. guys that murdered Salvador Allende and installed Pinochet.

AML is being integrated at the moment. To fully release it however we need to get certified, also processed at the moment.
Don't think we don't support that, the moment we have the moment we will integrate it. This was meant to be a test run anyway.

If you really are who you are saying (company experienced with online currency), you should be aware of the rules (law) and business practices (common sense), such as not going live before you have this very necessary stuff in place. You can't claim a Google and slap a beta sticker on it. You are live, with real money. Does it even say anywhere you are 'trialing'? Have you told anyone? If you are truly serious about this you immediately stop trading until you have the proper licensing and notify all customers of this, with the option to withdraw all funds at no cost. Yeah, that sucks if you're legit. But that's the only way you will recover any kind of trust.

Amir Taaki, the founder of the Britcoin exchange based in London said he has already approached British regulators in an effort to obtain "legalized, regulated status."
"We want to make Bitcoin legal, not have it outlawed," he said. He said Britcoin also would be willing to help root out criminal activity, and was keeping account records.

in Britcoin we trust...

and for the record I don't trust someone called Amir, as you don't trust a Bulgarian.

Bitcoin7:

* Hard to track down who is behind it

just wondering do you know who is behind mtgox or btcex?
567  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bitcoin7.com - Brand new exchange market! on: June 15, 2011, 09:18:39 PM

Well, it's not a very good scam if it's immediately detected.  A smart scammer builds up a bunch of USD and bitcoin deposits, and then disappears.

I think you are refering to my 10 days unpaid withdrawal request

Well is it true that you can register a company in Bulgaria for only 1 euro?

1 euro and 2 cents Tongue
569  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin7 a new exchange on: June 15, 2011, 12:52:12 PM

Why does it cost 2-12 EUR to withdraw USD/EUR to an EU bank? I guess your books and accounts will be in EUR or BGN anyways?

bulgarian bank taxes are ludicous, I think those taxes are somewhat wrong unless it is another bank they use for sending

it is 2 euro for under 500 transfer and 0,11% tax for larger transfer, minimum 12 euro/maximum 150 euro

don't you think that that kind of information is an insurance and those cost some $$ to acquire?

I was digging in Bulgarian registry agency, and saw that the owner of that LTD is a chief executive of a big software company with nearly 485K euro capital

probably you are right for the text, what I know* is that the site was coded in less than a week

* - sold them some coins

19 times less income mining those...

bitcoin difficulty = 567358.22457067
namecoin difficulty = 2815.22139486

ratio =  2815.22139486/567358.22457067
         = 0.004961982
Current price 1 namecoin = 0.0067 BTC

How is mining namecoins 19 times less income than mining bitcoins?

http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator.php

I put my hashrate 1330
price was 0,008(seen higher offers, with your price it is 25 times less)

$73.68 vs. $3,80 per day = 19-something less
575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone else considering mining Namecoin? on: June 09, 2011, 12:28:13 PM
Namecoin/Bitcoin forex rates are basically the same as the difficulty difference, so you won't really profit much from switching to namecoins.
Lowest trades are about 0.006 bitcoins per namecoin. What does the difficulty suggest they should be trading at?

19 times less income mining those...
576  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining CPu needed with GPU? bottleneck? on: June 08, 2011, 02:20:55 PM
cpu will NOT idle, read more topics, if you have 2 or more cards it will use 100% for sure, for one card it depends on OS and luck...
577  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining on two pools as a load balancer on: June 08, 2011, 01:04:28 PM
I am running 2 miners on one card pointed to eu and us eligius servers, but only phoenix or phatk miners can split gpu power 50:50
578  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining CPu needed with GPU? bottleneck? on: June 08, 2011, 11:27:05 AM
humm one core to all gpus why?
will the pentium 4 do?

any cpu will do, you need to dedicate one core to GPUs if you plan to use cpu miners + gpu miners

pentium 4 is worthless junk that consumes way too much power

Somewhat offtopic: Why do people keep quoting my own math back to me in responses to me? If I said he makes a million a year, you don't need to prove to me that he makes a million a year.

because your math is the only reason, if you were a singer, you won't cut off your own tongue...
580  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining CPu needed with GPU? bottleneck? on: June 08, 2011, 08:40:04 AM
wrong, if you can't dedicate at least one core to all GPUs installed, you will suffer a penalty 15% or more
