just go to your profile page and look at the address bar, where it says "u=<5-8 digit number>",
that's your user id.

Also, you can just hover your cursor over your username and it'll show up in the status bar.

You currently have "XXXXXX" for your referral code, and it should be your bitcointalk
user id #, which you can find by hovering over your username and taking note of the number there.
It does ask you for this and automatically fills it in in all the right places on the signature page, you just
have to go find it.

You don't have to. There are tons of ways to get DeepOnion without paying for it. Or rather, paying with time and attention rather than money.

It's really super easy. And obviously worth the time it takes.

When buying, it's better to buy low so that you can later sell high. It all depends on how you think BTC and ETH are going to perform in the future. If you think BTC is going to explode even more, by all means buy some. But generally lower prices are better for getting an entry point. That said, I am long both.

Bitcoin, (obviously). Ethereum, as it hasn't even scratched the surface of its potential in terms of being a world computer. Gridcoin is super under-valued right now, good time to get a bunch of em. And DeepOnion has been performing phenomenally as of late. Those are my holds.

In order to start staking, you have to encrypt your wallet, then unlock it for staking.

a conf file is a configuration file. It tells the wallet the addresses of other wallets (addnodes) to connect to.
