There should be a trading subforum and all these buying selling xyzcoins should go there. There are too many users not adhering to the etiquette of having on thread per xyzcoin for trading, but rather creating their own thread for one particular trade/auction.

Yup i like this idea don't forget there is already a Trading and exchanges section on http://ppcointalk.org/ Smiley

just for the record

Have you forwarded the port on your router as well?

never had to do that with any other coins or wallets or clients... not even sure how?

I have a USB dongle that attaches into a router, I can get makes and models in few hours if this helps?
763  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: **Mincoin** Bronze To Bitcoin Gold [minute blocks] [scrypt mining] on: April 18, 2013, 12:33:43 PM

Post ur addys for first transactions of coins Smiley

Not that I am trying to complain... but doesn't this reduce the anonymity of cryptos?
I mean, if I posted my address -- then everyone would know I am me... and I am not even so sure I know I am me!

True there is a certain amount of "linking" that can be done via posting an addy, but you would keep ur anonymity by using a new addy for every transaction as that part of the anonymity combined with you can find out possibly the ip that the transaction was relayed from, and as these early days only a few points of connection on the map, by me posting and addy see what information you can find out about me Smiley

6uhsQk1ZKxwkey7Yc5p4jKnX8cqDMu1Snx

I'm very intrigued to know tbh,

Oh, I wan't looking to raise dust... just thought it was interesting.
You have a point, creating a new addy for every transaction would increase the anonymous factor.

Just wondered if anyone else besides me thought about that kind of thing  Grin

Yea no hard feelings at all and not meaning it as a threat or me getting up on my high heals about it at all.  I to think like you and want to know what is the best way to use the cryptocurrency and how potential flaws can be averted, if there is a loophole or vulnerability then it WILL be exploited, I feel it is important to iron out such bugs early on. So yeah i totally get where u coming from, and that the kinda best answer i have so far as to the posting of addys on forums, if you don't want to link your accounts across other forums and parts of the internet then yeah the different addy for every transaction, but i believe a determined person could piece together a certain amount of information even then.

Important to raise concerns and ask questions, hence my desire for these thngs to be tested
