Anyone in SG interested to invest mining farms in Malaysia?
I am not interested. However it would be good if you can give more details such as location of farm and initial cost. Mining equipment provide by investor, we will do the setup, maintain and monitor the farm. Monthly profit split into 50/50 after deducted monthly expenses, no hidden cost. Location will be in Malaysia. Guaranteed ROi within 10 months. PM me if interested. How much per kW/h?

Do you have plans to release android apps? Would be great if i can check bitcoin price in many currency with daily chart as widget on homescreen Apps are coming however they are not top priority nor is there a set date for either ios or android apps. Thanks for your question and stay tuned, there are some exciting things in the pipeline. There are several apps that use the API and you can get the info that way. Mycelium comes to mind. A search on the respective app store will yield more.

Coinmap have a lot to potential expand in Brazil, even i dont know your business model. A lot of people accept bitcoin here; the information about these places are so scasse that a blog had the 3º place when you google "lugares que aceitam bitcoin"(places that accepts bitcoin) in Brazil.I hope the site can atleast be translated to PT-BR.Coinmap has for me, the best map design and are the most easy to find places.
This is a good idea. Translating the CoinMap site into several languages could be a very good thing. BTW I love that CoinMap has an API avaialable also! Coinmap 1.0 was translated into several languages https://web.archive.org/web/20150101084110/http://coinmap.org/ (list on the left) The github for 1.0 had a folder for languages, but I don't know what the process is for 2.0

@Newar
are you sure that Armory is using the correct directory for .armory? it's currently in /root/, which implies you installed 0.94 while logged in as the root user? Can you try rebuilding the 0.94 db? (delete .armory/databases) It's possible that whichever erroneous contents in your previous copy of the Bitcoin blockchain also made it's way into the Armory databases, and so the tx scanning stage for Armory is essentially detecting that mismatch.
-INFO - 1461221902: (DatabaseBuilder.cpp:195) Found 378432 headers in db As Carlton suspects, you are using a fresh copy of the blockchain over a preexisting DB. Delete that DB, let Armory start from scratch. Thank you both. Fixed.

Should I bitcoind -reindex?
Yes. This is a deser error, that's unmistakably corrupted block data. I have done the reindex, and - since the error persisted - removed the blocks, chainstate and database folders of bicoind. Now after everything is fresh I still get: (WARNING) SDM.py:768 - Overriding not-available state. This should happen 0-5 times (ERROR) ArmoryQt.py:1336 - 32 attempts to load blockchain failed. Remove mempool.bin. (ERROR) ArmoryQt.py:1341 - File mempool.bin does not exist. For another source of some income, has mining coins such as Gridcoin been considered on the miner controller boxes?

I haven't used Coinhake, but things like this make me skeptical: We use the lowest price in the market with a 0.9% fee. and in their FAQ: The price of a bitcoin is set by different bitcoin exchanges and based on the market forces of supply and demand. We follow the prices set by exchanges. Which market? Which exchanges? It sounds like Coinhako is more of a coin shop, rather than an actual exchange. Not to mention that the fee is quite high.

First off, thank you for keeping the project going. Very much appreciated! I got 0.94.1 installed and get right off the bat: (ERROR) ArmoryQt.py:1336 - 28 attempts to load blockchain failed. Should I bitcoind -reindex? Bitcoin Core (0.12) runs fine on its own though.

Hi, been using this wallet fine for ages however sent a transaction 30 mins ago & its stuck on 0 confirmations, nothing in the blockchain & still says sending x.xxxx on the my balance page...any ideas? Is there an official support for mycellium?
If it's still stuck, go to the Transaction tab, tap on the tx and it will give you the option to rebroadcast.

Would y'all and the Mycelium gang make it so that the trades on Mycelium LocalTrader are also included in BitcoinAverage, please?
Thanks for your time.
We have emailed them a few times recently actually with no response. Best if you contact them direct, the more of their own users that email in the more likely they will get it done Will this help? https://github.com/mycelium-com/wallet/tree/master/public/lt-apiLocaltrader API

How about the dash model? It follows the argument that people invested should run a node.
|
|
|
It will work. How do you think it will benefit the users in your country though?
Some nodes I('ve) run are more like 500 GB/mo. YMMV.
