"blocks" : 189674, You are not at the current block height. Thank you and the others very much indeed for the support!! Its working and without you guys it would have taken ages for me to set this up. I will post the installation log in the eloipool thread, may it helps others.

i never could start ecoinpool at all.
After looking in all the public available poolsoftwares i ended up with eloipool and poolserverj, both working. From a buddy i know pushpool is relatively fragile on load while poolserverj handled the same load easily but poolj development is discontinued/stalled for now. About eloipool i only know its still maintained and used in luke-jr official pool eligius and in inabas eclipsemining pool.

I still find the [3600+ BTC] such awesome, on freelancer boards them coderz would code the nasa spaceshuttle os for this amount, well at least the kernel .

A vpn for low latency applications like egoshooter games is useless in the most cases. Of course there are fast vpn connections depending pretty much on the host and how far the server is from your location and the final server. So if youre in the us and take a european vpn, the connection to a us server would go over europe which is a decent distance. Im resident in europe, i have had us vpn connections which allowed to dl with arround 1mbs, much enough for youtube videos etc but pings almost always above 140ms. A VPN server next to your location, considered their hardware is ok could come witha minimal performce decrease.

Can anybody clear this up by confirming that NO trading on BTC/* currency pairs is happening on bit4x.com? That you can only deposit and withdraw in BTC but cannot actually trade on any bitcoin markets with your leverage?
Just think for a minute, this would have been announced big time, at least on bitcointalk, zerohedge, bloomberg, businessinsider, wsj.... And if its introduced, why only by one broker that nobody ever heard of and with a leverage from 1:1000. Its a wet dream to trade btc vs other currencies like eur/usd on leverage but surely we will have to wait and there should be pre announcements when if/its introduced.

This is a X-post from here but I guess it is very interesting for all the lurkers of this board, with certainty more then for those in its "correct" place. So, I just read about them on reddit: http://www.bit4x.com/Forex in Bitcoins!Bit4X enables you to trade over 30 currency pairs on a pro grade platform in Bitcoins, including Gold and Silver! They use the popular Forex program Meta Trader 4How does it work?Trading takes place on a well known and widely used trading platform: MetaTrader 4. Your balance on the platform is denominated in Bitcoin and so are your payouts. Current Bitcoin exchange rates won't affect your trading limits. With the minimum deposit for opening a Live account, 100 BTC and 1:10 leverage you can trade up to 0.01 lot. With the same deposit and 1:100 leverage you can trade up to 0.1 lot and so on. We offer leverage ranging from 1:1 to 1:1000, but we strongly recommend below 1:20 for novice traders. You can change the leverage of your account at any time or open several accounts, if you are in need of more than one leverage option. Are my Bitcoins safe?Yes, your Bitcoin deposits are never converted into fiat or any other form and are always kept safe in encrypted cold storage by kakobrekla, a well known member of Bitcoin OTC. Bitcoins are volatile, can you guarantee my payouts if Bitcoins rise or fall in value?Yes, our broker VenetFX holds extra Bitcoin reserves, twice the sum of all clients deposits at all times. Just in case that won't be enough, the broker will acquire more Bitcoins on the market. 1: Does that mean I can trade my bitcoins with 1:1000!! leverage?? 2: Or does it mean that we can fund our accounts with bitcoins but are only allowed to trade on traditional currencies with that 1:1000 leverage? You hold the account in bitcoin, no btc cross trading on leverage, cant imagine that in th enext 5 years.

How do i do that, i downloaded the dependencies including the python-bitcoinjsonrpc, its currently in the opt folder together with the eloipool folder. What is to then?

It seemed to be different from anything ive seen on the internet. For me its something revolutionary in the very first steps but i dont think its the final bitcoin, what i mean its limited to 21 million what is really a small cap, there must be a split or a v2.0 bitcoin to make it masscompatible. However, i think the model to create a valueable exchange good from cpu power is great.

Its nota ponzi its a pyramid scheme Its like pennystocks, first in first out, everbody knows its pumped but still they jump on. The only thing missing is the pump mob

I think people like to feel like they belong to a social group that they can relate to.
This of course should be also a reason why religions are so appretiated worldwide. "because everybody arround me does it it must be a good thing"

I already made another thread, however i think its better placed here because its mianly about eloipool. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=113730.msg1235209#msg1235209This is the error i get: root@j064:/opt/eloipool# ./eloipool.py Traceback (most recent call last): File "./eloipool.py", line 46, in <module> import jsonrpc ImportError: No module named jsonrpc root@j064:/opt/eloipool#

In this case sudo apt-get install python3.2-dev was what installed python 3.2 successfully. The command sudo installs python 3.2 in the directory, the above package installs correctly to . For me it made a difference, may it helps others...
