1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: SEGWIT LTC.TBDICE.ORG 0.5% fee SOLO MM LTC/DGE POOL 3K+ LTC/7K+ DGE blks solved on: October 16, 2017, 09:26:50 AM
I got a best share higher than the difficulty, was I supposed to find a block? Here is a screenshot, this was at block 1295267, thank you for your help.
Hi,
You got a PM with details.
In general short answer is NO unfortunately.
In order to solve a block your best share should be > than Net Diff
As we speak it means > 919573 for LTC and > 326211 for DOGE
Please let me know here or via PM in case something is not clarified

Hi, can you explain how to mine with this pool using Antminer L3 ?

Hi,
It is simple. In general as minimum you need to set your username to your LTC address. Pool home page http://ltc.tbdice.org has detailed explanation. I can give you a hand with setup in case you need it. Please PM me for details

Dear kxxxl.dxxxxk@email.xx,

Although your LTC LNvhGfGFSGC1rUpBn3YZfAK82UUvZUzaTt address is valid, pool does not like it. According too pool logs it was OK at first, then you decided to remove your worker and you have added mail notification. I am positive that there is an extra space (or something else left at the end of LTC address).
In any case if you hit LTC  block you will be notified via e-mail. Your coins will be credited to pool wallet instead going directly to you. I will process your payout manually after verifying your mail address by sending you a simple message. I suggest you to FIX/Change your LTC address if you can. Go and  check pool users stats page. If your address is good it should NOT be red and it should be truncated as other ones are. If you are not able to do it, please check your mail regularly. You will be notified if you happen to hit LTC block and let me know here or via PM so i can send your coins immediately

Guy's,

A quick note about MutliSig addresses pool support
MutliSig addresses starting with 3 are properly supported.
Addresses beginning with “M” are not supported

So as a rule of thumb the best option is to use L-addresses - Legacy Litecoin accounts for user name.

6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Solo mining with L3+ vs rent hash on: September 05, 2017, 10:44:27 AM
Any one have answer for this ?
Well solo mining most often means simply mining to Your wallet if coin uses getwork or setting pool for Yourself (Just type it in google, you need one unix machine to run pool).
Both ways are most often described in ANN thread here.
Not really  Wink
Experience and time are needed to maintaining such thing. For reference my solo pool ltc.tbdice.org is the best one of each public solo LTC pool out there. TBDice is  offering DOGE MM mining with lowest fees sharing TX fees with miners. It runs on dedicated server with 128 Gig of Ram 1G of backbone connectivity and powerful cpu. For instance when 2000 Gh/s were reached machine was 93% Idle.
I will disagree with you that a big mining farm shall go with "getwork", The option for setting up a pool is reasonable to avoid fees but experienced people have to be available 24x7 to make things run smoothly + dedicated machine + good backbone.

There is a planned maintainance in server collocation  datacenter. It may interrupt pool operation during this period up to 35 mins. Make sure you have backup pools ready to take over

Planned Date: 04.09.2017
Maintenance window: 22:30 – 04:00 - UTC
Reason: Switching infrastructure upgrade
Task: Upgrading N7K-SUP1 to N7K-SUP2E
Expected Traffic interruption duration: up to 35 min.

Actually Roger said that he is willing to move all the hashrate (and every support he got, probably that includes selling his bitcoins) he has from bitcoin to bcash, if bitcoin don't get 2mb blocks in November.

Since he is a scam artist, he probably won't do it and there is nothing to worry.
Nobody cares what Roger said will say an do. He will act exactly as ordered by his "sponsors" Grin

Boy, blocks are so scarce, it's a good thing that this chain supports blocks up to 8MB Grin

Seriously, difficulty is a problem: 3x less profitable than BTC = not low enough to trigger retargeting, yet bad enough to make things potentially worse in the upcoming weeks.

Yea supports 8MB blocks but mempool was around 4.5MB and last block only took 2M of it so not every transaction made it into the last block

Yeah and why? I guess due to buggy/slow pool implementation. Chinese  pools used to mine (or maybe do still mining) BTC empty blocks Grin I winder how will they fill 8MB when they are not able to push i single TX in BTC blocks at times Grin

BROOOOO (chinapeople),

If as i said i have nothing against fellows from china (ordinary chinapeople having a couple of ants or whatever).  The whole point is that the drama is paid by your people rich ones (Bitmain and co are my suspects). It happens on prepose. I simply do not like it! If people are making free money they will cry on 1 st of December after Bitmains final strike..That is al i can say. The goal is to control your coins (money) so you are not going to be able to spend them when and however you like  Wink
That is whole point
Do not take it personally - all of you will be sorry but it will be too late. Enjoy your freedom there are only a couple of months left

We've got our first block on https://bcc.suprnova.cc :

Yeah i saw a dude here educating us to learn Chinese in order to be able to understand how valuable BCH is Grin
I am quite sure that all Chinese do understand the meaning of verb "FUCK". However my statisfaction will be complete if the folks above write this in Chinese in HEX so even the ones that do not understand to be able clearly see massage. Only traditional chinese folks pls Grin
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcoin Cash - Fork 1:1 of Bitcoin - Pro on-chain scaling on: August 04, 2017, 11:03:42 AM
There must be something we (general public) currently don't know.
Otherwise, I don't see whats all this about.
Dumping BCH for 1-400 bucks to buy BTC at almost 2.9k looks like mega dumb move from my perspective.
What am I missing here? Please enlighten me. Thanks
You miss the range dude Wink
Dumping at 400 is good for that shit whatever you buy even BTC as last resort Grin
Dumping at 1 does not cost the effort at all Wink

well, do You all agree we can now rename bitcoin cash to "bitcoin crash" ?
and price is not everyting, it is still super high. just wait for difficulty resonance and low-diff rape of the blockchain.
Well,
you can not just rename bitcoin. What i do agree that Chinese are pumping a lot of cash to keep drama and media attention alive.
So i can not agree!. But i can agree that we can rename it to "Cash Controlled by Chinese" though Wink

BCC blocks are not full, so it's very likely that your tx gets in the first mined block, even with low fee.

I wouldn't bet it's "very likely"

never heard of empty blocks mining  Wink ?
Yeah empty blocks AKA "Chinese specialty". I am wandering if this shit stays alive and diff adjusts eventually, how long would take for it to fork?
And how many times will it happen?

Hi Guys,

One question, maybe a stupid question but I would like to know if it is safe to redeem BCC's.
I have a few BTC's (life savings) and I am wondering what is the safest way to redeem BCC's and if it is safe.

What is the safest way to redeem BCC's?

Thanks.
Literally speaking life savings ment to be used when everything else fails to save your life.
If that is the case then safest way is to do nothing and not to put them on ANY risk
16  Other / Meta / Re: Note to admins, BCC is an alt, why threads about it are in the main forum? on: August 03, 2017, 06:48:40 AM
I don't agree with this view. In my opinion, BCH can't be treated as an altcoin like Ethereum or Ripple. Although there was no chain split, Bitcoin Cash closely resembles Bitcoin and is essentially a clone of Bitcoin. And there is a small chance that BCH may even replace BTC as the top crypto-coin in terms of market capitalization. If that happens, then BCH will be regarded as the "real" Bitcoin.

If that happens, then BCH will be regarded as the "real" Bitcoin
Then why you are quoting "real"?
There is only one original called BTC everything else is an ALT. That is my oppinion and it must be treated as an alt. Buy the way it is not quite clear if this is BCC or BCH Grin

ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS

1. You assume BTC must be at risk to gain from BCC.  I disagree with your premise so this is not a real question, but instead a declaration of your beliefs.  I am willing, and I did convert my own BCC without putting my BTC at risk.

2. Once again you are making assumptions and judgements to form the basis of your question.  I again reject your beliefs and judgements.  I followed what seemed logical to me.  My BTC are safe right now and I am holding the BCC.  Yes, I want flexibility with MY coins.

3.  A free lunch does not exist.  But there are windfalls like IPO's and just being in the right asset class at the right time.  I worded hard for my BTC so any benefits I reap are from my hard work.  I turned $30,000 into nearly $200,000 - and that is hard work!

Just a side note I turned $3,000 into nearly $X Just because i got lucky to have two avalon's batch one delivered on time. How they choose me i do not know still Wink I refused to sell them at 40 000 USD each. I worked hard to make them going 7x24.  May be if i was a total newbie and a laysy boy i would make $X/2 because of downtimes. I hold my coins when they drop from 700 EUR to 40 EUR just because of my believes for BTC bright feauture and discipline. But at the end of the day all comes with luck/discipline for me personally. I know that luck comes and goes though.
Thank you i am not going to comment any further

Any timeframe when BCC depossits will be possible on Bittrex?
It will be far far away in time Grin It is very easy to pretend that something has a value when you sell just 1000-2000 units of it. Like botique Grin But when you need to sell more let us say arround 21 million BCC (BCC depossits) that is completly different story Cheesy
Then the real value of BCC/BCH will shine. Free money are not endless  my friend Grin The brave ones (first on the train get them) the rest are just paying the bill Grin

I know its still in the short term, but you are a legend for being 1000% wrong.  You should disappear, you obviously have hidden motives

I know that selling one apple million times back and forth at 1 USD making trading volume of 1 mil USD does not change the fact that this same APPLE is just one.
I know that selling 21 million apples AT ONCE is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT STORY at very different price compared to above example
I am not a legend because i am right or wrong but because i post regulary according to forum rules Grin
Do not look at ranks, yo'd better use your head to decide valuable posts
Peace

I am neither for nor against BCC/BCH.  I hold quite a few coins and I am an active trader in futures, bonds, stocks, and currencies.  The "widget" is irrelevant in trading unless you have some emotional attachment or ulterior motive.  In that case you should not trade because you will lose.  I have read this whole thread and you are obnoxious.  Your posts are stupid and only show your bias and hate for BCC/BCH.  I have my own personal feelings about the coin/price, but they are at least based on a fundamental foundation of trading, psychology, and discipline.  I suggest you go to another forum or create your own bashing thread
Yeah...
I suggest that it is about time for you to realise that Economy learned in school, supply demand laws squeeze and all that fancy stuff (trading, psychology, and discipline included) do not apply to crypto at all. Whatever it is BTC/BCC/BCH  it does not matter. It is what it is today. Tomorrow is unknown for all of us.

My only goal is strictly technical here to prevent people losing money even though i can call them idiots because they do not have a clue what is going on.
Let me ask you  three questions and if you are so pollite to respond please be frank.
1. From what you have learned in school (about economy and business in general including discipline) are you going to put on risk let us say 100 BTC at 2.700 usD each just to gain 100 BCC at 700 USD each? 700 USD is questionable price but let us assume it is 700 USD for the sake of example
2. Will you do that in a hurry not to miss the train following online tutorials or videos published by completely unknown people for you? Having in mind you do not have a clue what you are doing and you are completely aware of that fact?
3.  Does the free lunch exist or not?

Thank you
And finally all folks which know what to do and how to do it  i admire them. They made money!  But for the rest.....train HAS gone unfortunately
