UPDATE Aug 3: BCH is online on ShapeShift.
Please be aware we are waiting on extra confirms for BCH inputs and due to long blocktimes, your exchange may be delayed multiple hours. If you are selling BCH and sensitive about price, please use precise to lock in a rate. When using quick, you will get the rate at the time we process your transaction

Hello Please can someone advice when is the best time to buy BCH and what is the possibility of BCH price going up to meet BTC

Never, slim to none.

Or, no one knows.

Agreed nobody knows what is going to happen with coin but if you believe there is chance of comeback than you can buy at current price. That is free money that is the reason everyone is dumping his coin which is crashing this so badly.

Actually Roger said that he is willing to move all the hashrate (and every support he got, probably that includes selling his bitcoins) he has from bitcoin to bcash, if bitcoin don't get 2mb blocks in November.

Since he is a scam artist, he probably won't do it and there is nothing to worry.

It's not a surprise to see so many confusions about the names and tickers, when an exchange which is controlled by a company goes rogue and

Creates a total double spend of the supply and never thinks about the consequences, this happens. do you guys think they have at least $14B in

Their pocket to pump the price up to $1000? because there are at least 14M spendable Bitcoins and their owners could dump their doubled coins

At any time, but are you crazy enough to actually invest your money on something which doesn't have the name of BTC? they could at least name

It BTC2. I just love to see theymos putting (optional) in forum news header like claiming free money is not that important and just could be an option.

This Bitcoin Cash is new to me and by just reading the last few pages it shows that there is ulterior motives at work here.

Even if it is free money with the way things are explained how to claim it shows you have to give up that address you have been affiliated with for years (Maybe since Bitcoins Inception or early days) to be totally secure, well what happens if people rebuild wallets and sign messages with them from trusted people, escrows for e.g ? I think all hell will break lose.

IMO Bitcoin Cash is just another way to cull the stupid Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

While the western world dumps Bitcoin Cash out of stupidity

South Koreans  are buying it up at over Double the Price
Bitcoin Cash new   $ 551.60

https://www.bithumb.com/

Anyone that can do arbitrage between bithumb and the other exchanges selling it for under $250 can make a killing right now.

They must know something others don't, like it will probably be selling for $8000 within the year.

Funny the highest selling market for Bitcoin Cash is not even included on CMK.
Conspiracy & Collusion or simply bad reporting , you decide.

╥Aztek

Sorry mate but no arbitrage for you. I've checked their site to find the catch and there's more than 1.
Bitcoin deposits and withdrawals are blocked (very strange)
There are no BCC deposits or withdrawals available at all.

The message is a warning about transfers being paused due to segwit activation (31 July), so it's an old thing and they still haven't enabled it after 5 days.

Nobody cares what Roger said will say an do. He will act exactly as ordered by his "sponsors" Grin

Also a reason eth gained more value over etc as time passed...etc devs were/are weak compared to eth devs.

The question is: Are there any competent Bitcoin Cash Devs? I see only a few and a lot of noisy Bitcoin Core devs on Twitter. I think this is the only important issue in the Bitcoin ecosystem. Zero devs = zero value.

Amaury is an excellent developer, and he only had to change 5000 lines in Core to fix Bitcoin, mostly just yanking the Segwit crap out...

Also, have you ever considered that TOO MANY devs causes the value to decrease?

And what about when development is done? We're already in the late stage of understanding what needs to be done to make a good crypto... the main innovations right now are in the field of privacy and scaling, the latter of which Core is unable to deal with.

Guys, still can't lambo!!! when is lambo time come?

If you didn't get your lambo in the past 6 months, you'll never get it cuz you do it wrong. ( like me )

To get your lambo you need balls of steel and should go all-in with bitcoin. Sell your home and buy bitcoin now. The dude who did it when the price was 1k$ before the mt.gox crash is now rich.

Is it just me or are transactions now drying up even when no blocks are found for a fair bit of time the blocks are usually quite empty and under 1MB plus the value does not seem to be rising much if at all when no blocks are being found like before but the value is still decreasing.

Looking at ViaBTC's stats pool hashing power is dropping along with the user count block times seem to be getting longer and its profitability keeps dropping lower and lower compared to BTC

It seems that the miners can't agree which way to go - wait long enough to trigger further difficulty reductions - or just sabotage this (by inserting empty blocks minutes before the trigger) - to kill BCH/BCC.
Without a higher block frequency you wont ever get a stable network - so that there wasn't an easier way for re-targetting from the beginning of the fork seems a major oversight. It shows the dependency of BTC et all from large commercial mining pools, - a form of centralization...

The way will get clearer within a few days - if a week after the fork, BCC is again above Ripple in Marketcap, and has a stable network with sufficient blocks - the way up to the moon is open. If later on the Bitcoin Core / Segwitt supporters have a second fallout - BCC could emerge as the REAL Bitcoin by the end of the year.

OTOH - if it's below or around Litecoin, and the network is still slow - and will get worse if there is not a difficulty adjustment just in time - BCC will be on it's way to oblivion. In that case it will not have any advantages over LTC and a few others, but will have lost the goodwill brought by the BTC-Name. So it will then fall out of the top10 marketcap very soon, with the network still instable - and with high difficulty and low price likely to get worse - transfers are still difficult, exchanges remain isolated islands, and will eventually de-list. In that case, the BCC price will be far below $1 at the end of the year...

Does anyone have a list all pool BCH??

pool.bitcoin.com
pool.viabtc.com  (second)

They are the only real supporters

bcc.suprnova.com (the best after trying all of them)
pool.btc.com

Difficulty projected to be really low so keep an eye on it

I am getting confused with BCC diff. If the trigger is not set off, then when BCC's diff will be re-targeted?

looks like the 0.05 predictions will come true very soon. i really can't see how it can justify that price and we still have a ton of supply to free up.

The creators haven't been quiet they have just been drowned out by everyone not wanting this if you think its the better coin you go buy it but 95% of users see different.

You are just believing the propaganda that Rodger Ver shits out his mouth the big blocks may solve scaleability for now but leaves other issues like transaction malleability that is not supposed to be a issue yet this "superior" coin has already been affected by it.

The Popular coin fixes this issue with segwit and also fixes scalability at the same time for now and if larger blocks are required later on then it can hard fork if needed with support behind it from the core team that have years of experience and do this full time and have built bitcoin into the safe secure coin it is today

Yes should be under $200 before the days out and possibly under $100 by the time segwit officially locks in and dead by the time it activates

They sit with the difficulty problem because if their approach. They should have done what all the other alts do to start with a clone and not a fork. The difficulty would then have started from very low.

As long transactions are not going through and the exchanges have problems with their wallets the price will fall further I would guess.
I would take the risk of investing in BCH, but only if it goes down more, like 0,04 btc...

BitCoincash is super money for cash manipulation. BCash has been sold hard but will soon rise in price.
No coin on this market can stay at a fixed price.
