CumpsD, have you checked how many watts does the pi consume? I'm considering using a pi too.

well, as i wrote some pages before, i decided to make an i386 version by compiling from source (version 3.1.1). I made the binary and i can execute it with -h for example. But other than that, when i give ./cgminer it does nothing at all. I tried with the asic usb's on and giving the appropriate paremeters -o -u -p -S /dev/ttyUSB1 but it returned nothing. I tried with sudo but nothing. What seems strange to me is that it returns no message as error, so as to try to fix it. Ideas? Thanks.

finally received my units!  Grin

i hereby state that i trusted yxt with my BTC and he successfully shipped to me ASIC mining units. Packages were nicely wrapped. Thanks a lot yxt! I would happily give you an OTC rating if you create an account. Thanks again.

ok building a binary for 32bit was pretty straight-forward. Cool!  Wink

Well you do need xp at least

well it may be funny, but i have a terribly old pc wich i'm thinking of turning into miner's helper and run cgminer on it. That's why...

i'd prefer using linux.

yxt, in case you contact DHL again, can you ask them estimated time of delivery for packages outside germany? Thank you.
34  Local / Biete / Re: [GB] USB ASIC miner - closed atm on: June 01, 2013, 10:59:49 AM
My USB Gizmos still are in transit from Germany to Portugal... 2 EU countries... I never imagined that DHL would be so slow... a shipment posted last Tuesday...

Looked after your package
really strange  Huh

Mine is stuck too in germany. That's why i asked before about others with shipping outside germany. That is indeed slow for DHL.  Undecided

anyone tried to run p2pool alongside an electrum server? Is that feasible?

oh right, my fault.
in the meantime i decided to build from source.

Used this :

Code:
CFLAGS="-g -W -Wall" ./autogen.sh --disable-opencl --disable-adl --enable-icarus
Is that optimal ?

I think i made it fine. Haven't tested in mining but at least it is executable.  Smiley

i downloaded the https://github.com/kanoi/cgminer-binaries/raw/master/Ubuntu_11.04_x86_64/cgminer-3.1.1a and i'm using xubuntu 12.10. I'll only need cgminer for ASICMINER usbs.

i'm getting this error :

Code:
./cgminer-3.1.1a: error while loading shared libraries: libOpenCL.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

if i got it right opencl is for GPU mining, that i will not need. So how may i use cgminer or bypass the error? Thanks.
