721  Economy / Exchanges / Re: POLONIEX - NO WITHDRAWALS, TAKE CARE on: May 08, 2017, 09:42:55 PM
Can anyone confirm being able to take out over 1 BTC from Polo in the last 24 hours?

Everywhere people waiting, no one is getting his money.

I will commit suicide if Poloniex stole my money, I swear.

People are telling me they managed to withdraw money..

Just calm down i'm sure this will all be ok :/

I withdrew some bitcoins today from polo and had no problems.

Are you sure that you got your withdrawal address correct? there was a scam going where people had downloaded a virus that was amending the address they were copying.

If your withdrawal address is correct (check the whole string), then raise a ticket and they'll sort it withon 24 hours.

How much bitcoin did you transfer ?

Was it over 1 BTC?

No less than that.

Perhaps break up your withdrawals into smaller units, so that it automatically processes

It is perhaps too late for that....

I am getting banned in the Shoutbox for asking where my money is.
My withdrawal was awaiting approval for 22hrs, then suddenly disappeared. Then I got my money back into my account.
Withdrawed them again, AGAIN AWAITING APPROVAL.

I withdrawed 25k USD before, NO AWAITING APPROVAL back then.
I have 400 BTC in my account.

Let's all just calm the fuck down.

It will all be fine.

My withdrawal has been stuck in "Awaiting Approval" for over 21 hours now.

This is not normal, i just lost a lot of money i could have made while trading.
727  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex "Awaiting Approval" Withdrawals on: May 08, 2017, 07:57:45 PM
You should have receive an e-mail to confirm the withdrawals
Did you click the link and confirmed it ?

Yes.
728  Economy / Exchanges / Poloniex "Awaiting Approval" Withdrawals on: May 08, 2017, 07:38:03 PM
Has anyone lately have any problems with their "Awaiting Approval" withdrawals ?

Are they running an exit scam?

What's going on I've seen increasing reports of this happening - people's withdrawals stuck in "Awaiting Approval" for days.

Please leave your feedback.

Yes my withdrawal is not being accepted for over 18 hours now.

What's going on?

Are they doing an exit scam?

731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why does the mainstream media ignore altcoins? on: May 08, 2017, 05:06:23 PM
ETH is an altcoin, the mainstream media does not ignore ETH.
732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are you storing your ethereum? on: May 08, 2017, 04:53:18 PM
But MyEtherWallet is only online, right? And if happens something to the website? Will it be possible to get back the money?

Rule of thumb: forget about 'web wallets'.

I'll say it again: do not store your coins on third parties' servers. This practice goes against the core idea of a decentralized currency and puts your assets at risk.

Always store your coins on a device that you personally own and control. Your least secure option is to use a mobile wallet. There are many mobile wallet apps on the market, but I won't recommend any of them because they inherit all the security flaws of the underlying platform - be it iOS or Android.

A better option is to use a desktop wallet (assuming you're using a Unix-based operating system, i.e. Linux or macOS). Check out Exodus - it's a clean, lightweight, cross-platform wallet app that handles ETH, BTC and a bunch of other assets.

The most secure way is to use a hardware wallet such as Trezor or KeepKey.

Come on guys, do you even know how www.myetherwallet.com even works? Do you know what a client-side wallet even is?

https://www.myetherwallet.com is a nice CLIENT-SIDE (javascript) wallet.

You have to have the wallet.dat on your PC for it to work.
If anything happened to the website, nothing would happen to your wallet.

It's very good if you do not want to download the whole blockchain on your PC and be able to access your wallet from everywhere.

https://www.myetherwallet.com doesn't actually have any of your wallet's information, because it's client-side.

They do however hold a copy of the blockchain so that you don't need to download it.

UK is the cheapest country to own and buy a car.

It's a fact they have some of the lowest car prices. It's because their steering wheel is on the right side, and so there's not a huge market for these cars so the demand is small so prices are also small.

1. Log in.

2. Locate the word "Profile" a little below your handle (username) at the top of the page. Click on it.

4. Follow the instructions for uploading your personal avatar.

Cool
Duh, BADecker. He is still 'newbie' – meaning he still can't get avatar just yet. OP, the avatar is obtained once you reach 'Full Member' rank on this forum.

I thought so.

How many posts do I need to become a full member again? 50? 100 ?

I sold all my STR and bought LTC. Something real and stable.

Visual explanation ;

Just saw on twitter ;
https://twitter.com/vncenj/status/861352428557529088

Someone pumps , pumps,  margin trades, puts high stocks and makes people go above it , pushes market up then removes high amount.
This is being done to Doge,XMR, Sia etc for several days more and more.

Then starts ddos attack and takes all the money, dumps and goes. Polo just try to recover servers and keeps on like nothing was happened.

They know who that someone is. They have his money (got stolen from everyone) in their wallet.

Someone made maybe millions in minutes and Poloniex just watched (i hope)
They have to prevent manipulations either by limiting transactions with bots (per ip , per api , per user , per hour etc. ) , they should limit amounts by previous transactions,

If they are not working together with that man they must do something to prevent this and block the account, and then sue using the data they have.

However i'm taking my money to my wallet and sit and watch what will happen. I can only play when the game is fair.

I think people DDOsd the exchange.

Right before they DDOsd it they dumped to trigger all the stop limit sell orders.

Profit lol. But it will go back up.

After yesterday's craze, my stop sell limit did not get triggered, probably the dump was too fast.

Instead of taking in 2.5x return, I only cashed out about 1.5x return. Still OK i guess.

Now my money is stuck in "Awaiting Approval" after last night. This has never happened before and the sum i'm trying to withdraw isn't above the daily limit either.

Do you think they put everyone's money in "Awaiting Approval" after the DDOS incident? Or am I just unlucky ?

Hello,

Where's the option of adding a profile picture? I can't find it in profile settings anywhere.

Thank you.

The more I read about Stellar the more interesting it looks.

Deloitte, Parkway Projects and Tempo are supporting it, and building projects on top of it.

These are HUGE companies.

The price increase might not be all insider trading and hype after all. It seems solid even.
