Do icelanders not use the bus system as I only saw about 20 bus stops and no body at the stops.
You're either FUD-ing or not watching closely; I saw the opposite. Nope. I watched the video again and didn't see any people at the stops. The campaign was a great idea Imo. |

I use auroracoin in the real world and my favourite coffee shop will be accepting it soon. Large merchant roll out can only happen when there is a point of sale system in place. I'm sure the dev team are working on one. if i want to go to the same coffee shop if i visit your country how can I buy a coffee with aurora? I live in the UK, can I use my wallet? Yea coinomi has released an android wallet that we all use. What wallet do you have? |

I'm sure the dev team are working on one. How many people will use AUR at your fav coffee shop? Do you know a lot of people in Iceland that have AUR? I live in Cape Town South Africa but people here are serious about ditching their currency for alternatives. We had the 3rd worst currency on the planet last year and people jump at the opportunity to buy auroracoin here. |

As such it will have international ramifications if successful, but until then is best left to the Aurarįš Foundation and the Icelandic people. The Auroracoin awareness campaign that has recently begun will stretch over many months, and be followed by field-adoption activities over the next year or so.
We neither need nor want to prove anything to the outside world until we have adoption success to report. In fact, the less international attention the better, so as to keep the AUR/ISK exchange rate in check to facilitate adoption of Auroracoin among Icelanders.
Who are you? You speak like you work closely to the dev team god.aur does work closely with the Aurarįš foundation. He is both a member and contributes extensively of his time and resources. Great. I have no expectations of any of you guys but I would like to know more about the big banks in Iceland and the foundations relationship with them up until now and into the future. |

The day a lot of people will stop looking at the project as an ''investment'', and start considering it a way to improve peoples lives, including the next generation, we will all reach our goal. We have a chance to ''write history'' - be part of this history, it is how I feel it - and how we hope a lot of people will feel it. It's enought to be treaten like slaves by a handful of banksters raping us all. Why would we accept ? Or try to copy them ? Let's stand up and show we can get rid of their criminal fiat system. I have 3 kids, and I just can't accept that some remote criminal control their lives through economic starvation.

You guys are forgetting about big bitcoin mines that are based in iceland. 5 percent of bitcoin is mined in iceland by big companies like genesis mining. These companies are going to play a big role soon because they can produce bitcoin cheaply and then buy auroracoin really cheaply on bittrex selling for higher price on isx.is. these mining companies have at least one billion dollars of bitcoin to trade this way.

How come sha256 has several terrahasshing power and script has much less but still earns equal coins per block?
This is how multi-algo works. Each algo has a separate difficulty, so when the difficulty evens out and stabilizes, it won't matter whether you have 20 petahash in sha256, or 10 megahash in qubit... you'll have an equal chance at finding a block at your algo's difficulty. Give it a day or so to even out, and you'll see much more even distribution of algo blocks. We still don't have a ton of people mining on the CPU/GPU algos, so you'll see an increase there as well. -Fuse Then can you calculate an avaerage difficulty? Again, there is a difficulty for each algo. There is no overall average. Just run the getinfo debug command and it will show you each difficulty. -Fuse Is there any significance to 4 terrahasshing coming on line? Does this create better encryption? |
