That sounds like the most likely scenario to me. The family disposed of his belongings and in it the new computer owner scored a couple of Bitcoin addresses with forum and personal funds. In the case where you buy a old oil painting at a yard sale with a Rembrandt under the watercolor on top, you are the owner of that Rembrandt. In the case of a purchased laptop, the guy buying it may legally own those btc. Yes you are right but it is highly unlikely that new owner knows who was the first owner and that the laptop has precious coins.What if he formatt the laptop before using? |

India is big country with 1 billion population.It will obviously take more time here Thats not reason that bitcoin is not popular.bitcoin is not popular because india literacy rate is low and infact most of literate do not take part in digital world as they focus main on earning by simple means. Wrong. India's literacy rate is at 74.04%.Which means number of literate people in india are more than Europe's total population. |
