581  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are Bitcoin mixing sevices safe? on: March 11, 2017, 10:23:51 PM
thats right but i am more concerned to get tangled up in someone elses crimes
No.You will get fraction of various peoples bitcoin and not any considerable amount from one single account. Therefore even if you get some evil coin, chances are you will get very little of it
582  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: e-Currency and Bitcoin online exchanger PayBis on: March 11, 2017, 11:22:22 AM
You still using gmail for your customer support which looks a bit odd.It is easy to set up own domain for email like support@paybis.com etc.
It looks more professional and gives good impression about your service.
583  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Running Signature Campaigns on: March 11, 2017, 11:18:24 AM
There is absolutely no criteria to be a signature campaign manager. If someone wants you to manage his campaign, you are good to start as signature manager.
There are many signature campaigners who run there own campaign.
Although one is expected to have good understanding of how to count posts, calculate payment according to post, update spreadsheet.
Having a good reputation is an additional bonus.
584  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So no one cares about ETF decision, right? on: March 11, 2017, 10:46:05 AM
We haven't seen any huge downfall (as expected) after the decision of ETF. Do you think that we as bitcoin users have not paid any value to the ETF's decision?

In the case of disapproval, the predictions were floating around below $1,000 mark but we haven't seen any such mark.

Is it too early to speak about it or we have given a message to the world something like this?

Interested in exploring community's opinion about it. Bears must be disappointed because they lost the chance to short for huge points.
Bitcoin was rising even when there was no ETF hyip.ETF gave it boost only.Honestly I wasn't expecting much fall in price as bitcoin has become a really stronger and people buying it know it has got potential.

586  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would there be just one cryptocurrency? on: March 11, 2017, 09:28:58 AM
Correct me if I'm wrong, and move me if this is the wrong board, but in my opinion we should not focus on how to make Bitcoin do everything. Right now Bitcoin works well as a store of value, digital gold if you will. A $1 transaction fee means nothing to a $1,000,000 transaction. It does however severely cripple smaller payments, something that a cryptocurrency could be very good at.

Now it is my understanding that the point of SegWit/BU is to allow Bitcoin to be used for smaller payments by bringing that transaction fee down. Instead of making Bitcoin the jack of all trades, why not have multiple cryptocurrencies that each excel in their own areas? Leave Bitcoin exactly as is, and invest money and time into establishing a micropayment currency, a smart contract currency, etc...

Just some food for though.
Johnny

tl;dr
Why try and make Bitcoin do everything instead of having an ecosystem of specialized currencies?
Bitcoin will lose its value if it is not used as currency as well. Also creating new currency at will make them valuable also and people will start holding it as well

588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: March 10, 2017, 12:41:52 PM
Too bad I feel sorry on saying this that western union is still better than bitcoin nowadays. Because they had a lot of customers throughout the world and those people doesn't have any knowledge when it comes to bitcoin or crypto currency. But I know one day they will be informed about bitcoin and will even try to use it for remittances.
Just because they have lot of customers doesn't make them better than bitcoin.
Western union is older than bitcoin and they have lot of funds to promote their services on audio visual media.
Have you ever seen a bitcoin ad on tv? obviously not.
Technically bitcoin is far better than Western Union.

Is the Joining this site is SINS.. no one is dealing with newbie...

i tried to sell AGC to 2-3 member but no one go first...

when i go first i get ripped...

You can not blame your ignorance on others. You should always use escrow.
Now if someone has scammed you,you should make a thread in scam accussation in scam accussation section.
You may not get back what you have lost but you can help others not scammed by the member who scammed you.
If scam against him is proved, he will get negative ratings by DT members.
590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in Asia on: March 10, 2017, 11:43:58 AM
True, the regulations use of bitcoin at average Asian countries is still not fully used because each government is reviewing bitcoin. One consideration that doubted by many governments in Asia is the security of bitcoin. But even so, bitcoin still be used with caution and the government is not responsible if things happen that are not desirable.

The crime gangs are very innovative in Asia. If they came to know about Bitcoin, then they will exploit it for illegal uses, such as blackmail and ransom payments. This may be one of the reasons why the Asian governments are still not willing to legalize Bitcoin. Another issue is tax evasion. As we all know, Bitcoin is a very powerful tool for someone looking to evade taxes.
This is true.Crime rate in Asian countries are high and bitcoin can be misused by criminals and the shortage of blockchain technology experts will make such criminals do away with their crime.
591  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I think Blockchain.info is in a good position despite the rising fees on: March 10, 2017, 11:25:36 AM
Since the fees keep rising and the mempool is always flooded because the 1mb blocks are overflowed beyond its confines, I could foresee wallet services making arrangments with Bitcoin merchants, gambling sites and others to make transactions with them through an internal ledger. Settlement will come later on the blockchain.

Blockchain.info is in an excellent position to start this. Soon we'll see recommended merchants inside their wallet.

I want to hear your opinions please.
It is good if they do this and given their market share, they are in a position to convince the merchants.
I am sure other wallet will also follow the suit taking leaf from blockchain.info book.
592  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Warning: Bitmixer.io Scam - Support Unresponsive on: March 10, 2017, 10:58:37 AM
Used their service a few days ago. Got nothing. Support is unresponsive.

As of now, consider them a scam.

Will be glad to retract if someone from BITMIXER.IO can make this right.
Thousands of users use bitmixer and you are the only one complaining. You must contact their support and wait for their response.
Sometimes they have high work load and take time to respond.
593  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: March 10, 2017, 10:53:12 AM
Could bitcoin prevent crime?

I believe Bitcoin transactions via online wallets could prevent crime. People are going to use Bitcoin for legal and illegal transactions, however criminal transactions are susceptible to crime as cash is used for the transaction...which encourages theft. If bitcoin were used for these shady transactions, perhaps with escrow, there would be no opportunity to steal currency - couldn't this prevent crime? (Aside from the original criminal transaction of course!)
Has invention of guns prevented crime or deterr criminals?
Bitcoin can not prevent crimes on its own.It is neither an objective of bitcoin.
Bitcoin is a currency and it can be used for good or bad purposes alike.
594  Economy / Services / Re: PayBis signature campaign [FULL] on: March 10, 2017, 10:48:48 AM
Hi Paybis,
I see List of participants and I've question is it longterm signature campaign or this campaign for 1 week only? (In googledoc it look like it is 1 week campaign only)
Are you going to do avatar campaign also?
Thank you.

This is a long term campaign, we're thinking about adding an avatar campaign as well in future.
Adding a avatar campaign would be a good move and would give more exposure to your campaign but please also consider using escrow.

596  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BLOG ON BITCOIN on: March 09, 2017, 08:40:23 PM
I have created a new blog on bitcoin which is written in simple english
those who are new to bitcoin will surely have an idea about bitcoins.
the link is
https://rajasumi.wordpress.com/2017/03/09/bitcoin/

comments and criticism are welcomed .thank you.
It is good blog but there is nothing which is already  not available on internet. You should consider to buy a keyword rich domain and optimize it for search engine.A unique content is the king but if you are publishing something which is already abundantly available,at least optimise it differently

599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will storing bitcoin kill it? on: March 09, 2017, 10:00:24 AM
Storing for the sake of savings and spending it in the future will never kill Bitcoin but hoarding it and not spending a single satoshi of it will definitely kill the currency.  There is no transaction, liquidity and even not used to buy stuff, so merchant accepting it will definitely look for alternative.  Bitcoin without transaction (trading, spending etc) is more likely a dead currency.
But it is doubtful we will reach the point where people hoard just for the sake of hoarding, those that are storing bitcoin do so because they want to obtain a profit from bitcoin, so if the price skyrockets then we will see many of the people that said they were going to hold bitcoin for decades selling their stashes in a matter of days.
I believe continuous rise in price and instability encourage people to hoard further for.
1.They expect more price hike in future hence more profit. That is why less sell order during bullish days.
2.Small investors fear they might not be able to buy back if they sell.
