The developers of the NVIDIA stated that they did not prioritize the use of video cards for mining. I think it's very good that the new generation of cards will not displace the old generation from the mining market. I can use my 1080Ti for mining a bit longer. |

What I'm most afraid of.... the summer is comming  I have reduced the voltage and make them more efficient. So less heat. |

I think that partnership with Pornhub is good. I think that the price is deliberately dropped, then again there will be a pump.

Hello,
i have some trouble mining ZEC with Claymore.
My Rig contains 6 RX570 4GB and runs perfect with claymore and ETH or XMR.
Only ZEC doesnt work fine.
I tried all settings with -i -asm -li ....... but nothing helps me fix my hash power.
When i start the Miner not all GPU's boosts to full frequency some stay at ~600MHz Core normaly i fixed it to 1100/2000 and this runs fine on ETH and XMR.
Max Hash Power i get on my RX570 is about 240-260 an the cards who doesnt clock right only about 60-80.
System is Windows 10 with the AMD Blockchain Driver.
Has Anybody a Idea what I can do?
For the ZEC mining, it stress the core more, so you need to reduce the frequency or increase the voltage. |

I noticed a higher Total speed in Claymore v11.2 of about 1mh/s. I'm mining with 3x rx480 + 3x rx580 in that rig. It's not that much, but 1mh/s for free is nice too  For my R9 390, the speed increase is about 0.3%. |

If we ignore the nlpool shills, it seems like antminepool and ahashpool are the only good pools that don't steal your earnings. Unimining took like half of the expected rewards, zpool is 20-30% lower, nlpool doesn't have enough hashpower to do shit, other pools are too small as well.
ahashpool only has 4.6 Th in the Blake2S. It seems it is also a small pool. |

Not possible. They stress both the core and memory. |

HBM is stacked memory. I don't think its one 4GB Module its like four 1GB modules stacked ontop of each other.
You do realise the R9 290 4GB was not affected by the Dag File size issue this year! Does it mean there is no need to upgrade the drive for 290/390 owers? |

I know its difficulty but there is smth else behind it. As it rose dramatically. Someone said its ice age and that another 200k blocks were solved so that caused tha extra jump. Im not scared and i plan to mine even if i am even or dont earn profit coz i like it. Or with time shut down rigs and turn on later etc.. we will see. I invested money i was ready to lose anyway. Ofc expected roi after time but didnt gamble with money i need.

There wont be an ice age and as you hear about big mining farms are being out recently for about 500 gh/s and there might be more we still dont know. Ice age wont really happen as of now. Theres nothing to worry about that ice age thing since ive been mining ETH too and i do treat this kind of situation as a normal thing. Just chill dude and do the things you do suppose to do. The difficult will keep on rising and the block time will increase a lot. |

I think some coin which is hard capped on the top will be good. Also a limited amount of coins in the millions is quite good. I like Decred for that cause. HUSH also seems like a good coin

It can be a bad image to Bitcoin, but Bitcoin has always been involved in crimes especially known to be related in Dark Web Transactions even in Craigslist. Ransomware on the other hand created another bad image to Bitcoin but in turn also gave curiosity to many people to Bitcoin, lately I think the timing was good but Bitcoin's price actually increase right after the Ransomware news if I am not mistaken which means Bitcoin still has demand or and increasing one. One bad news won't effect Bitcoin's economy as a whole.
Sensible people will think that the use of the bitcoin in the ransom does not affect its image. |

The difficulty does not matter in mining but rather the profit. That goes accordingly to the price of the coin.
You can indeed mine when you are out or when you are sleeping but you will be getting less money compared to what you could get by letting it mine 24/7.
That is right. You can use your computer when it is mining. |
