Great app for starters! Use it to keep an eye on my s3 hash rate.

I'm new to this whole api key thing so take it easy on me.

I've copied and pasted the api key from Kano.is website (my account section) and pasted it into the app but can't see anymore information apart from the current hashrate. Is this right? Or am I missing something?

Are you using POWERED USB hubs?

Has anyone built an exhaust enclosure for an S4? I've got one coming and plan to put it in a spare bedroom but concerned about the noise aspect. I was thinking about building a enclosure for the back end of the miner with some acoustic ducting to try and reduce the noise.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks bittalc1, but that's beyond my capabilities. I am just about able to putty into my s3 and change the freq. That's about as far as my abilities go

Leave it for the pool to set. Ck did a post about this. It doesn't make you more money or anything and if you set it too low the pool will automatically set it to the pool min anyway.

Where abouts do I enter those details Prelude?

Also if that doesn't work has anyone hooked up some kind of ducting to the exhaust fans (which im assuming are the noisiest?) to try and quieten them down?

Can they be stood on their sides or are things going to fall off when they get warmed up?

Looks like I got into the mining game far too late. Just bought an s4 to boost my earnings but doubt it will be worth it even with the free electricity. 

Going to be getting an S4 soon and was wondering how you guys have dealt with the noise? I know you can underclock it but that kind of defeats the object of it. Not got to worry too much about ambient temps as I'm in the uk and rarely gets above 25c in summer.

I currently have two s3's under my desk in my room and can quite easily sleep with those on all the time so just wondering what the s4 is like in comparison.

That's a good idea. At the minute I use the ckpool app and leave the notifications of blocks on my phone until I get a corresponding notification of payment. Then delete the matching pair.

Oh and happy 500th page. I wish it was a reward for a block though 

Aries, I have two S3's, one pointed at each pool. Basically because I started with Bitminter when I first got into mining using the brilliant client program DrHaribo had made and also because Kano and Ck pretty much made it possible for everyone to mine by creating cgminer.

Kano.is has more blocks per given time (at the moment) but due to the high pool hashrate I get a minimal sum from each one. Bitminter has a few blocks every so often and I get a better share but due to the gap between blocks it works out near enough the same per day.

That's just my findings though with my 940ghs/avg. Needless to say I wont be going to any other pools as I'm quite happy with both 

That's the second time he's come on and my score (although small) goes from 0.0170 to 0.0120. Not I'm
 Not earning much anyway but that's quite a sizeable part of it.

It is just dust really, three rewards 0.00000401, 0.00000403, 0.00000404. So its upto you if you want to send it. My username is gtaddict. But im happy if you want to take it for the pool. Saves your fingers a typing it all out to send it

In regards to dust payments that I've got so they get grouped with the payment I'll get from the block we've just got?
