1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bitmain Order - Expired Paid? on: January 24, 2018, 02:19:39 PM
First off, try to use UPS instead of FedEx

Second - send Bitmain support an email or open up a ticket (I forget how it works there) about your order and they will take care of it within 24-48 hours.   6 days is an eternity to wait.  Good luck

I've had no hiccups with FedEx to-date and I don't think it's a shipping issue.  Something in Bitmain's system caused my order to be flagged inappropriately even though I paid in full within the 30 minute time limit.  I contacted Bitmain support about 4 day ago with no response, though I think they are backlogged.

If you read the banner on their website it actually says they are all out of the office till the 26th so i wouldn't expect an answer till after that.

Simple solution to this.. don't come back here.

No one wants you and your toxicity.

You can use the transaction accelerators offered by other pools (won't name them here, feel free to PM me if you want the links) which will cause them to prioritize your transaction. They only require a fee of 10 Satoshis per byte, so if you don't need funds urgently, you can consolidate with a low fee every so often,"accelerate" your TX and keep most of your rewards.

Thanks DarkStar - I have PM'd you

Cheers - usukan

I need to get on doing this as well. I have 15 btc worth of small mining rewards sitting in a wallet I haven't consolidated ever. Sad

Perhaps kano can start offering the priority transaction spots on the blocks we find. Would rather send him some the fee vs someone else.

If the price keeps climbing and if we can keep it in the green i might be able to actually hit ROI on my machines..lol

114 tx into 1

coins = 1.275 btc

50 sats per tx

should be 300-350 sats

my fee was 0.01053914  if I paid 350 sat it would be 0.0715 btc

I spent  4 hours  in the 00:55- 0:05  times using an accelerator to push it   about 40 minutes  and 63 rejects  to save the 0.06 btc.  and this is only   2 weeks of mining.

it is nice to earn  1.2 coins in 2 weeks  but the consolidation is stressful

are you consolidating to the same wallet with a new address or do you have a separate wallet you consolidate into?
6  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: How low can it run? What's it? the batch 10 S-9 on: August 22, 2016, 02:40:31 PM
And as noted  in the main s9    one board up and died.

Happened when I went to freq 525. Which I did when I moved it to the solar array.

So we now have 5 and ⅔ s's and 1 s7 running  we could add two more s9's as the circuits are 20 amp 240

3 run at about 15-16 amps

so we can max at nine units.

I will post either warranty process on the dead s9 board or I will send it to sidehack to play with.

Here are 2 good boards with light and the one dark board.

Which died after running at freq 525 for under a few hours
Somewhere some place I have a spare 18 pin cable maybe it can fix issues.  But with tests that I did I think the board is dead.

I actually had the same thing happen to me with a batch 1 s9. left for work all was fine.. came home to find a dead board.

a month later i finally have it back from warranty replacement. not happen on the turn around time but at least i only had to pay for shipping one way, and 0 to fix the board.

man this feast or famine crap sucks. we need to push closer to 50ph to hopefully steady out.

interested to see how the new column is implemented and what the numbers look like.

that looks yummy..

might have to make/drink some of that if i keep getting the same BS answer from bitmain warranty. i had a board die from a s9 batch 1 and they have had it for 3 weeks and havent even started to look at it yet.. had to power on my s7s again just to keep my hash rate up.
9  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [35+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,DK,JP,FR,NL on: July 25, 2016, 03:04:20 PM
Good morning Kano Pool!  I'm waking up to 4 blocks and we are sitting on back-to-back!  Cheesy
EDIT:  I was really hoping that we would hit that next block for a Triple Play!  Grin
I do not think we have done that yet.  It is hard to do.
we are 3%  so .03 x .03 = .0009  or 9 in 10,000  on the next two blocks.
but to do a triple   we would be .03 x .03 x .03 =  0.000027  or 27 in 1,000,000 on the next 3 blocks.
s

so what your saying is that its very possible we could do it. we never thought we would hit 11 blocks in 1 day but we did that.. now its time to set a new record.
10  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: July 13, 2016, 01:55:56 PM
You also have to ascribe an accurate decisional weight to the warranty from Bitmain. It's pretty much understood that they'll do as much as they can to deny all warranty claims, and if you read the not-so-fine print basically any feasible issue is not covered under the warranty. I would not consider a Bitmain warranty as a factor in any risk assessment. The few problems they will actually work with you on, once you factor in hassle, arguments, shipping to China and the associated revenue loss of extended downtime, it'd be cheaper to solve the problem with parts off eBay or something. If you happen to have a hashboard that fails without burning something (and therefore voiding warranty) might be a bit tricky, but what are the odds of that?

exactly what i had last week.

Left for work all 3 boards of batch 1 working fine. come home 1 board dead. tried everything to bring it back to life. nothing worked. no visible burn marks or hot spots. board was just dead. 180 in shipping later, off to warranty it goes.

good to know that this pool just keeps chugging along regardless of what happens. got busy with irl stuff and come back and the thread has grown 30 pages and we are still knocking out the blocks at a decent pace. now i gotta buy myself a few more s9s and sell off the s7s i have so i dont go broke paying for power.
12  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: June 16, 2016, 03:15:55 PM
i had the howler issue as well from the fan. it seems to be a front fan from an s7 with a longer pigtail attached to it. So i took the rear fan off an s7 and used that on the front and all is quite now in the house.

the fan speeds aren't the same for both fans. one is supposed to spin faster than the other if im not mistaken so swapping the fans will mess up the miners ability to push/pull the air out of it.

front fan was running at 4400 rpm at 100%. swapped in the rear fan from an s7 which normally running 46-4800 on an s7. So running at 4400 is no problem. fan is running and stays at 4400.

now if you were trying to use a front fan on the rear which normally spins faster then yes there may be a problem but rear to front is ok

My s9 seems to run hot. Pcb 68-72 and chips 98-102.

What are others seeing for normal temps for batch 1s.

nice to see the blocks rolling in the past few days. might sell off some of the last weeks coins since we have had from this green period. Bought a nvidia 1080 and a asus rog 27 inch gaming monitor.

wow... 5 fat payouts released too!

Sent some BTC to "vault"
Sent some BTC to "rental account".
Sent some BTC to "Buy s9 account"
Sent some BTC to "Buy Phantom4 drone account"

and some spare BTC to try out NH new system...

Nice.

I have 2 s-9s on order.

Looking to order more.

my order finally flipped from expired to paid.. 12hrs late.. but better then never. only ordered 1. didn't want to blow all my btc on a batch 1s. hopefully someone else will come out with a device to be some competition. Plus it would be my luck I get all batch 1s then batch 2 comes out and it goes up from 14th to 16th or something dumb that makes me kick myself. LOL

time to start selling off the s7s before everyone else does.

So i caved and bought an s9. With the way the pool hash has climbed i needded an injection of more power. Only problem is 8hrs later and my order shows expired. I added enough fees so it would be confirmed within 1 block and i wouldnt have to deal with this BS. And sure enough order was at 238am btc was confirmed at 248am. Hopefully this gets fixed asap.

im tempted to buy one but if batch 1 of S9 is like batch 1 of S7. Ill wait a couple batchs. If bitmain has chips im sure others do as well. perhaps a better company will come to the table now that the s9s are for sale. (lets hope) cus if we are stuck with S9 as our only option then the prices will never decrease and homemining will become a thing of the past.

at 14th though it would be nice to throw a couple of those onto the pool to increase my returns.

House guests are gone. cranked all the machines back up and running. lets hope for a good week to make up for the downtime.

btw. im liking this new high we are on 45PH. we are starting to be a contender.
