i guess it is future proof if you mean a question if it is going to be profitable and popular in the future, then the answer would definitely be yes because bitcoin is the currency of the future i think that bitcoin is going to replace all worlds money because the technology is really great and it is impossible for governments to have impact on bitcoins also its impossible to hack this technology I think the future of bitcoin will depends on the people who use it and also in the market.Then,all markets and all banks will accepted bitcoin and it may use in different kind of transaction. It starts with the users, without us supporting bitcoin will not progress. If this will grow it will benefit us especially those who invested, so it's a win win situation of us in the future. |

You can still buy HALLOween coin for 3 or 4 Satoshi. A lot of people don't know that there is a new developer working on the project. Price could easily double or triple. This dump is great. I think it's done by someone who wanted to jump in on the rising Bitcoin price. Took the opportunity to place a decent buy order. I moved the price up one euro. Sorry for the others who were hoping for cheap monero  but it's still cheap compared to the 29 euros of yesterday! The price is still 31 dollar. I think there is no dump. |

I doubt it would go that low. I'd doubt there will be any dips below $10 USD unless there are any flaws or bugs, etc found that is right. Any price below $7 to 10 is good to buy. Monero has some actual usage. |

try to do your own business. 5000 euro is a lot of money. You could probably rent a piece of land and build a cafe, and I am sure, it would be very crowded, and very profitable if you build a unique cafe and in strategic places. besides, you can categorize it as a real investment.

with 5kc I will advice you to go into bitcoin margin or leverage trading if you are good in that area of business. Mining take mush time to have a return on investment. Though trading involved alot of risk but if you developed your skills and knowledge you will have business forever. For the bitcoin, it is better to buy and hold. |

I was analyzing the eth price recently and seems that they had a dump few days ago and the price went from 0.009 to 0.011.
If we calculate there is a profit of 20% (after deducting the exchange fee) which calculating to 5k€ is 1k€ profit!
I'm not sure about other traders but definitely, I will not put all my 5k€ into one single altcoins for obvious reasons. The rule of diversification of investment is also applicable for trading so trading one single altcoin may get you big profits at the same time may get you big losses too. No, I don't prefer this method either, but I mean not investing in only one altcoin but also not invest in many altcoins. Because the more your investment are spread the less the stability is, so focusing in only 2-3 altcoins maximum is the best range. I quite agree with you, I have a solid proof about that it seem investing in alt companies shares and the price will be metering through the result of companies. and I make it with iconomi and totally work I got over 100% for my return. So what's wrong investing about a lot of the percentage in the promising project? If we can conclude that a project is a promising project 100% then who wouldn't invest there? I'm a bit sceptic about investing because I have been scammed few times and the amount was big because I went all (or nothing). It is better not to invest. |

It is better to invest in the bitcoin directly. Investing in the mining is too risky. The difficulty is rising fast.
Investing for mining is not a bad thing if you were trying to own the rig. if you feel it's not profitable anymore mining in bitcoin because of the difficulties then you can just simply move to another cryptocurrencies such as ethereum or whatever. those seem to have medium difficulties and may be profitable for you.and if you need more easy difficulties and then watch for a new released cryptocurrency The ASIC miner can only mine short period as they can be replaced by the new miners and the difficulty is rising too fast. |

Yes both investing into altcoins and trading them will be having more risk, but going very select and reputed coins will minimize the chances of unexpected losses during our trading and investing. For the professional trader 5k Euro will be not a very big amount as they will be preferring to trade in big volumes, still I too agree it is a very big amount personally I do not prefer to risk that much big amount in trading. Yeah 5k euro is big and might be loss and bad flactuating markets on cryptoworld and. I can't take to put up such huge amount on cryto trades since scam coins are scattered on every exchange, so if we have 5k EURO in our hands much better if we invest in on stocks and find a good brooker who can play your on, crypto trades are not really needed huge money and advisable to put only some little of our spare money so los will not destructable when markets goes down. The mining Ethereum is get less profitable now, especially for the people with high electricity price and old GPU. ETH seems to be a coin that will go down in the future, I would not mine it nor invest in it. The coin I think that will prosper on the short term is stellar and bitshares. Other coins seems to be rip of off others which means no innovation and no future. Tell me what is the innovation of stellar? and bitshares? You are very biased in your statment, what can you say about Vcash? Monero? Dash? these three coins are far better than the coins you promoted. There are other coins that have dedicated dev too and keep on improving their coins, so aside from your favorite coin there are far more worthy coins to invest . I think it is better to use the Etheruem or the Monero than the stellar and bitshares. They are not so innovative. |

Yup... 0.0168 right now though... can we reach 0.018 today? If we can I'm out, I'm more convinced of a BTC spike during the next month over a XMR spike so I don't feel safe holding XMR. Could probably buy back a lot more if I sit on BTC Lets go morning bump! It's possible that BURST profits are finding its way to a good XMR entry point (~0.016). Dream marketplace following the other DNMs to accept XMR is also great news.. but nothing that should re-ignite a pump. Great news nonetheless, and for the record I get my coke and ecstasy from Dream so it's nice to have an option to pay with XMR now  Got out at 0.01860 and got back in at 0.01705 with more XMR. I keep making the best calls ITT while everyone else is like.... "hurr durr hodl for 2 yrs and you'll be rich!" .... "monero is gunna replace bitcoin, derp!"  I can't wait for the Monero ETF... I'm sure regulators will love how XMR is completely hidden and the currency of choice for DNMs. I mean it only took so long to get them on board with an open public ledger and convince them that btc isn't just internet drug money. Although my sentiment is changing, I'm surprised at how well XMR is holding up above 0.016.... consolidation? Right now I don't know if it's gonna break up or down. Probably down because all the moon kids are convinced we are going up no matter what (usually when people get rekt). But I think it's worth being in at the risk of a short term dip. At the very least XMR has more utility over LTC and should eventually have a higher market cap. Looks like accumulation to me similar to Aug 23 to 27th. I don't put build positions based on what X or Y does or says and I would reconsider strategy if I were you as you will lose sight of the bigger picture. It is quite possible the Monero is in the accumulation phase again. But it is much riskier than that in August. |

I was also expecting a big price increase in the time of halving but it not happened, by the way it was also my luck that it increase much higher before halving , now I am waiting for the halving effect which everyone here is expecting for the bitcoin.
I don't know where you have been, but the price has gone up considerably already. It happened before the block halving. Right now we are $200 higher than we were exactly 2 months ago. And when the price reached nearly $800 it was even $330 higher in less than a month! Isn't that enough? For these who bought at $750 it isn't. There are always losers and winners, it is a zero-sum game. The bitcoin price has dropped from $600. It is around $595 now. So there is possibility that the price will stay around $590 |
