People buying at current prices are not doing the right thing. It means that you missed a great opportunity to buy at very low $600 prices.

And that means you should wait for the next opportunity where you can enter the market at better than current prices.

While that may be true you also need to take into consideration the amount of time their investment has been frozen doing nothing, the loss of purchase power that the currency may have suffer and some other factors.

Maybe I could agree on your statement, if you take a look of the performance of bitcoin or to be specific let's take for example this year alone. We have witness on how the price grow this year, and by holding your bitcoin you easily made a profit of more than a 100% of your money.

Investing for mining is not a bad thing if you were trying to own the rig. if you feel it's not profitable anymore mining in bitcoin because of the difficulties then you can just simply move to another cryptocurrencies such as ethereum or whatever. those seem to have medium difficulties and may be profitable for you.and if you need more easy difficulties and then watch for a new released cryptocurrency

That is right. The price of bitcoin will rise at least 50% a year for the next 20 years. Investing in something else is more risky.

I was analyzing the eth price recently and seems that they had a dump few days ago and the price went from 0.009 to 0.011.
If we calculate there is a profit of 20% (after deducting the exchange fee) which calculating to 5k€ is 1k€ profit!

I'm not sure about other traders but definitely I will not put all my 5k€ into one single altcoins for obvious reasons. The rule of diversification of investment is also applicable for trading so trading one single altcoin may get you big profits at the same time may get you big losses too.
