This isn't a new thing, but the Winklevoss twins are trying to make it more professional. All the big whales buy their BTC off book through brokers. It's not like you can log into Bittrex and click to buy 10,000 BTC and you'd push the price massively trying to accumulate. Big money wants to buy bulk for under spot, not push up the price. Keeping to this idea really, I've been thinking quite a bit about how we need a "localUNO." Really need a better place to buy chunks of Unobtanium like this, like localbitcoins works.
OTC markets are by far the best in my experience. The original #bitcoin-otc code is open-source: https://github.com/nanotube/supybot-bitcoin-marketmonitorNot a far stretch to imagine you guys using something like this for your project.

HAHA. Just get kicked out from this project cause owner don't like that I am earning bitcoins from them! They want you to play 24/7 on his project and don't get a life for 0.01btc a day! Never use it if you are not NOLIFER. And post is in "micro earnings" but if you join as earning bitcoin then just leave it cause they don't like that you earning btc. HAHA P.s Just spended my time on last mission and didnt get anything from it cause they don't want to pay me now. The problem isn't the earning of Bitcoins, but likely your attitude. You aren't the first to get the boot and won't be the last. Anyone can read the logs. Perhaps if you get over your butthurt and come back politely, you can continue to play as normal.

Just found this thread, hai IMZ.
I still have one of the Unobtanium silver bars from first batch, but haven't decided to sell it for spot or anything yet. You guys would get first grabs at it if I do set a price, which will include gpg chain-of-custody documents.
Hope all is well in Australia @IMZ

0.12.1 was not released 9 months ago. It's much newer than that. You're right. Going through the debug.log, I see I was probably on version 10.2. The log only goes back so far. According to log I was on version 0.12.1 much later. Are you sure you are using the correct wallet file? Is the correct file in the correct data directory? Using Windows for the moment, I keep the wallet file in C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\Bitcoin. That's the default directory. I've been switching between different wallet files and restarting bitcoin when I do that. I have not kept a repository on the wallet files, something I realize in hindsight I should have done. No, you're wrong. Bitcoin Core does pregenerate 100 addresses and those are in fact stored in the wallet file. OK, that's good to hear. As long as it's my mistake I might figure it out. [later] All right! I got it back! Most helpful was achow101. Please PM me a bitcoin address for your reward. It's too much for so little work, but I stand by my word. The mistake I made was to assume that it was one wallet, while it really was another. What I did was restore an old version of the wallet, which had a known password, and just as you said it had the 100 addresses buffered. I tested to sign a message, and it works smoothly. I also sent a transaction for testing, and it works as well. Glad to see you recovered your funds. This is a good opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of frequent backups, I save a new copy of my wallet.dat for every ~100 tx's.

~snip~ In short, Ethereum-based blockchains with overall network hashing power are completely vulnerable to this new type of 51% attack. Forks of ETH-based chains can be manufactured offline and moved into production with sufficient hashing power. At this time, there is no way to defend against this. ~snip~
Just to clarify, this is not really a new or novel attack, similar vulnerabilities were to be had on almost any forked coin during the clones heyday which was mitigated with kgw difficulty retargeting and such.
